Chapter 155: Chapter 155 Who I am?
Lilith turned her head, her gaze softening as she took in the sight before her.
Ana Carter, usually so elegant and graceful, was crying.
Her delicate hands trembled as they covered her lips, muffling the sounds of her sorrow.
Tears spilled freely down her face, and she didn’t try to stop them.
She wasn’t the beautiful and composed socialite that the world saw her as.
Right now, she was just a mother watching her son lie unmoving on a hospital bed.
And next to her, Rose clutched the blanket covering Sebastian, her small shoulders shaking.
Her fingers curled into the fabric, as if holding onto her brother would somehow wake him up.
Lilith let out a slow breath.
Something unfamiliar twisted in her chest.
She wasn’t human enough to cry like them.
She wasn’t weak enough to break down.
But she was devil enough to make sure this never happened again.
Rose stood up, her figure trembling as she walked to Lilith’s side.
Her arms wrapped tightly around Lilith’s waist, her body shaking with quiet sobs.
“Sister Lilith…
what happened to brother?
Why won’t he wake up?” Her voice cracked, filled with fear.
Lilith’s sharp blue eyes softened, her fingers running through Rose’s soft hair, gently smoothing it down.
“He’ll be fine,” Lilith said firmly, her voice leaving no room for doubt.
“Your brother is strong.
He’ll wake up soon.” Rose sniffled but nodded against Lilith’s stomach, clutching onto her like she was the only steady thing in this world.
Lilith sighed, patting her back.
“Now, go home, both of you,” she said, looking at Ana as well.
“You need to rest.” Ana, who had finally calmed down, wiped the last of her tears away.
Her usual grace was back, but her eyes were still red and filled with emotions.
“But what about you, Sister Lilith?” Rose whispered, her grip tightening.
Lilith just smirked slightly, glancing at the unconscious man beside her.

“I’ll stay.
I’m not going anywhere.” Ana watched her, studying Lilith in a way she never had before.
The way she cared for Sebastian.
The way she spoke with such certainty, as if she belonged there..right beside him.
Lilith wasn’t crying.
She wasn’t shaking.
She was holding everything together.
And for the first time, Ana truly saw her.
A woman who wouldn’t leave her son’s side.
A woman who wasn’t afraid to fight for him.
A woman who, despite everything, loved him.
Ana’s heart squeezed, and she took a deep breath.
She stepped forward, placing a gentle hand on Lilith’s shoulder.
“Thank you,” she said softly, her voice filled with sincerity.
Lilith blinked in slight surprise, but she didn’t say anything.
Ana smiled weakly.
“For taking care of my son.” Then, without another word, she took Rose’s hand and led her out of the room, leaving Lilith alone with Sebastian once more.
*** It was midnight.
The hospital room was quiet except for the soft hum of the machines and the faint clicking of Lilith’s fingers on her laptop.
Her brows furrowed deeply.
Something was wrong.
She scrolled through the financial reports, her sharp blue eyes narrowing as she saw the discrepancies.
A huge amount of money was missing from the company accounts.
Someone had been siphoning funds without notice.
Her fingers hovered over the keyboard, about to call Assistant Quinn, when a sudden rustling from the hospital bed made her pause.
She immediately shut the laptop, turning toward the bed.
Human doll was awake.
But something was off.
His deep black eyes were void of warmth, his jaw clenched tight as he sat up, ripping the IV out of his arm without hesitation.
“What are you doing, human doll?” Lilith asked, stepping closer, her voice calm but firm as she placed a hand on his shoulder.
He stilled.
Then, before she could react, he grabbed her wrist, yanking her forward with alarming strength.
She barely had time to brace herself before she was pulled onto his lap.
“The hell are you doing?” she snapped, gripping his shoulders.
Her eyes met his, but there was no trace of Alexander.
No Gray.
No Ray.
This was someone else.
Something else.
A slow smirk curled on his lips, dark and dangerous.
His fingers trailed up to her jaw, his grip firm but teasing.
“Who am I?” he murmured, tilting his head, his nose almost brushing hers.
His voice was rich, deep, seductive.
“I am the king of darkness, darling.
And you…” His grip on her waist tightened.
“You look like a woman who enjoys playing with fire.” Lilith exhaled softly, amused rather than intimidated.
“Fire?” She smirked.
“Darling, I am the flames that burn men like you alive.” His eyes flickered with something dark.
Excitement.
“Oh, I like you.” His thumb grazed her lower lip, his voice dropping lower, sultry, teasing.
“But I love breaking pretty things even more.” Lilith chuckled darkly.
“I’d love to see you try.” Their lips were so close now that she could feel the ghost of his breath against her skin.
In a swift movement, she twisted his wrist, flipping their positions and pushing him back against the bed, straddling him.
His smirk didn’t falter.
Instead, he looked even more entertained.
“Tsk, tsk, king of darkness,” Lilith whispered, her lips just a breath away from his.
“You really think you can break me?” His hands traced her thighs, his grip firm yet teasing, the air between them growing dangerously heated.
“Sweetheart,” he murmured, voice husky, “I don’t think.
I know.” Lilith grinned wickedly.
Lilith, despite the heat between them, was mindful of his injuries.
She made sure not to put her full weight on him, though her dominance was still very clear.
Her hand trailed down his wrist, gripping it firmly as she eyed the fresh injury from where he had ripped out the IV.
Her lips pressed into a thin line.
“Don’t play games with me.” Her voice was sharp, demanding.
His smirk widened slightly, as if entertained by her frustration.
“Oh, but games are so fun, sweetheart,” he murmured, his fingers lightly tracing the curve of her waist.
“And you look like someone who enjoys a good challenge.” Lilith’s grip on his wrist tightened.
“Who are you?” Her piercing blue eyes searched his face, but there was no flicker of recognition-not Gray.
Not Ray.
Not Alexander.
Something… new.
She had no idea who she was dealing with.
But she wasn’t about to back down.
Her free hand lifted, brushing his damp hair from his forehead as she leaned in close.
“I don’t care how many of you live inside this body,” she whispered, her breath fanning against his lips, “but I suggest you don’t play recklessly with it.” She tilted her head slightly, her voice dropping lower, filled with warning.
“Because this body?
This man?” Her fingers traced down his jawline, “belongs to me.”
