Devilish secretary - Chapter 165
Chapter 165: Chapter 165 I like you Chapter 165: Chapter 165 I like you “Alexander didn’t mean to erase us… He just wanted to be the perfect man for you, Lilith… Don’t hate him,” Gray finally said with a painful smile, his voice deep yet filled with an underlying sadness.
“Though I am sad that he didn’t even share plan with me… But in reality, everyone has only ever seen him.
Even if we were erased, no one would have cared anyway…” His voice was steady, but the ache in it was undeniable.
“You thought that…” Lilith pushed his head away slightly, making him face her directly, her icy blue eyes burning into his.
Her voice was cold, sharp, filled with something unreadable.
“What about me, Human Doll?” Gray’s lips parted slightly, but he didn’t speak.
“I like you.
I like Ray too.
I like Alexander too.
The three of you make each other complete,” Lilith said, her fingers trailing along the sharp line of his jaw before cupping his cheeks.
“Ray is the happiness in both your lives..he breaks the dullness, he gives you a reason to breathe.
You?
You are the one who makes the decisions, who thinks ahead, who does what the others don’t.
And Alexander… he lives for both of you.” She leaned in slightly, her voice softer but firm.
“How could you think I wouldn’t care?” Gray inhaled sharply, his grip tightening around her waist.
But he didn’t say anything.
Because if he did… he might just break.
Lilith tilted her head slightly, her piercing blue eyes scanning his face, taking in every detail-the way his jaw clenched, the subtle twitch of his fingers against her waist, and most of all, the way his Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed hard.
A teasing smile curved her lips as she whispered, “Now, smile at me.” Gray’s breath hitched slightly at her words.
For a moment, he just stared at her, his dark eyes unreadable.
But then, as if caught in her spell, the corners of his lips lifted into a quiet, almost hesitant smile.
Lilith’s own smile deepened.
“Good boy.” Gray’s grip on her waist tightened ever so slightly as he pulled her closer.
His dark eyes, once filled with quiet restraint, now burned with something deeper, something raw.
“Don’t treat me like boy,” he murmured, his voice lower, rougher.
“I can make you see just how much of a man I am.” Lilith raised a brow, her lips curving in amusement.
“Oh?” she mused, tilting her head slightly, her cool gaze locking onto his.
“Is that so, Human Doll?” Lilith felt his breath ghost over her skin, sending a shiver down her spine.
But instead of backing away, she only smirked, her fingers reaching up to brush against his sharp jawline.
“Oh, Gray…” she purred, her voice teasing yet laced with challenge.

“Are you trying to prove something?” His jaw clenched, his eyes darkening further.
“If that’s what it takes to make you see me differently…” His fingers trailed down her arm, slow and deliberate.
“Then maybe I should.” Lilith chuckled, leaning in until their noses brushed, their breath mingling.
“Careful,” she whispered, her lips barely an inch from his.
“You might awaken something you can’t control.” Gray exhaled sharply, his restraint barely hanging by a thread.
“That’s the thing, Liliy,” he muttered.
“You’re the one who makes me lose control.” Gray’s lips crashed onto hers with raw intensity, his grip firm yet desperate, as if he was afraid she would slip away.
Lilith let out a soft gasp against his mouth, her fingers tangling into his thick, dark hair, pulling him closer.
His hands-one cradling her jaw, the other gripping her waist-held her as if she was something precious and dangerous all at once.
He deepened the kiss, his tongue sliding against hers, demanding, devouring.
Lilith responded just as fiercely, matching his hunger, her body molding against his as the heat between them grew unbearable.
Gray groaned low in his throat, his fingers pressing into the curve of her waist as he pulled her flush against him.
The sensation of her warmth, her scent, the way she kissed him back without hesitation-it was driving him insane.
Lilith’s nails scraped lightly against the back of his neck, making him shudder.
She could feel his heartbeat pounding just as wildly as hers, the air between them thick with something neither could deny.
When they finally broke apart, their breaths were ragged, lips swollen from the intensity.
Gray rested his forehead against hers, his dark eyes hooded and burning with something more than just desire.
Lilith turned her attention to the ice cream on the bedside table, now reduced to a melted mess.
“And because of you, Ray’s ice cream melted,” she muttered, shaking her head.
Gray let out a husky chuckle, his fingers still resting against her waist as he traced small, lazy circles with his thumb.
His dark eyes flickered with amusement, but there was still that smoldering intensity beneath the surface.
“You’re worried about melted ice cream when I’m right here, starving for you?” he murmured, voice deep and teasing.
Lilith rolled her eyes, pressing a hand against his chest to put some space between them.
“You’re injured, human doll,” she reminded, her tone firm, but her breathless state betrayed her.
Her lips were still tingling from his kiss, swollen and warm.
Gray’s gaze dropped to her mouth, and he licked his own lips, almost as if tasting the memory of her.
His jaw tightened, and his fingers flexed on her waist before he exhaled deeply, trying to calm the fire burning inside him.
However, the sudden ringing of her phone snapped her out of the moment.
Lilith turned her head toward the nightstand, where her phone was charging.
The screen lit up brightly, the name flashing across it.
~Nina Lilith answered the phone as she heard a loud voice from the other end.
“Where are you, Lilith?!
You’re not even answering my calls!” Nina’s frustrated voice rang through the line, loud enough that even Gray could hear.
Lilith, on the other hand, remained calm, her voice as smooth as ever.
“What’s wrong?” she asked.
