Devilish secretary - Chapter 170
Chapter 170: Chapter 170 She€™s so hot Chapter 170: Chapter 170 She€™s so hot “You dare to make my man lose his balance and take advantage of him?!” The air around them tensed.
Sienna’s eyes widened slightly before narrowing into a glare.
“Your man?” she scoffed, but there was an unmistakable flicker of jealousy beneath her voice.
Lilith ignored her.
Instead, she tilted her head down, her Blue eyes locking onto Alexander, who was still staring at her, completely silent, completely still.
He wasn’t blinking.
He wasn’t even breathing.
Lilith’s brows twitched.
“And you-” she jabbed a finger at his perfectly sculpted chest.
“What are you staring at me for?
Call the men’s helpline and report her for taking advantage of you!” Alexander finally blinked, his dark eyes darkening, his gaze flickering between her lips and her eyes as he leaned in just a little-his face too close, too intense.
“Will you be the one answering the call if I do?” he murmured, his voice husky, deep enough to send a shiver down anyone’s spine.
Lilith’s fingers tightened around his wrist, her own pulse skipping for half a second before she narrowed her eyes.
This damn human doll.
Before she could respond, Sienna stomped her foot.
“Excuse me?!
Are you two flirting in front of me right now?!” Lilith flicked a lazy glance at her before yanking Alexander closer by his collar, making his breath hitch ever so slightly.
“You,” she whispered low enough that only he could hear, “owe me for letting that woman touch you.” Alexander’s lips parted slightly, his heartbeat hammering against his ribs.
Lilith smirked.
And just like that, she let him go and turned away.
“Let’s go,” she said casually, as if she hadn’t just turned the entire situation upside down.
Alexander exhaled slowly, shoving his hands into his pockets, his lips curling into something between amusement and frustration as he followed her.
Sienna, left behind, stood there fuming, clutching the crushed White lilies in her hands.
As soon as Lilith closed the ward door behind them, Alexander casually sat on the bed, a low smirk tugging at his lips.
“Are you jealous?” he asked, amusement flickering in his deep blue eyes.
Lilith shot him a dark look, but her gaze involuntarily dropped-to his partially unbuttoned black shirt, revealing a glimpse of his toned, muscled, tan chest.
Her jaw clenched.
Damn him.
He looked too good.
Too effortless.

And the way he was watching her, as if he knew exactly where her eyes had just been-it made her want to slap that smirk off his face.
Her voice came out flat.
“Are you already discharged?
Why are you not wearing your patient outfit?” Alexander’s smirk deepened.
Oh?
So she noticed?
He could feel her eyes on him, and honestly he loved it.
But before he could enjoy being touchy with her, he needed to coax her properly.
With a sigh, he leaned back, his fingers ghosting over his shirt buttons.
“I’m sorry, Lili!
If you don’t like it, I can take them off…” He slowly undid another button, his voice dripping with fake regret.
Lilith groaned, rolling her eyes so hard they nearly got stuck.
“Stop right there, Human Doll!!” she snapped, stomping toward him.
Before he could tease her any further, she cupped his face, her thumbs brushing against his sharp jawline as she locked eyes with him firmly.
Her next words carried weight, emotion, and something deeper.
“Human Doll… never try to erase your personality again.” Alexander’s smirk faded.
“Those days were heavy on me, Alexander.
Because of YOU.” Her grip on his face tightened slightly.
“And if you want to coax me, then apologize to Ray and Gray first.
Sincerely.” Silence.
Alexander stilled.
Alexander stared at her for a moment, her intense gaze holding him captive.
But then, his lips curved slightly.
“Alright,” he said.
Lilith finally smiled.
It wasn’t a big smile, just a small satisfied curve of her lips but damn if it didn’t make Alexander’s heartbeat slow for a second.
And then, just as he was about to bask in the rare moment, she ruined him completely.
“And stay away from that creepy human,” Lilith said casually, her fingers still lightly gripping his jaw.
“Otherwise, I don’t mind getting rid of her overnight.” She smiled sweetly.
Too sweetly.
Alexander blinked.
Then blinked again.
And then, damn.
She’s so hot.
Something dark and amused flickered in his gaze as he leaned closer, his voice dropping low.
“You threatening someone for me, Lili?” His lips barely ghosted above hers, his warm breath brushing against her skin.
“That’s kind of sexy.” Lilith didn’t flinch.
If anything, she looked bored.
“It’s not a threat.
It’s a promise,” she corrected smoothly, her fingers still gripping his face before she gave his cheek a light, condescending pat and pulled away.
Alexander sat there for a second, watching her.
His Lili was dangerous.
And he was completely, hopelessly addicted to it.
“By the way, what happened to me?” Lilith asked, tilting her head slightly, her arms crossing as she watched Alexander closely.
At her question, guilt flashed across his face.
His teasing demeanor faded instantly, replaced by something more serious.
“I’m sorry, Lili,” he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Because of me, you were really stressed, and you passed out from the tension…” Lilith blinked.
Then she slowly nodded her head, lips pressing together as she absorbed his words.
She wasn’t someone who passed out from stress.
No way in hell.
But thanks to the great, annoying, all-powerful god, here she was with a ruined image.
A faint twitch pulled at the corner of her lips as she mentally cursed the heavens.
Great.
Just great.
She, Lilith, the former ruler of demons, had fainted like some weak, delicate human girl.
She exhaled through her nose, nodding to herself.
Unacceptable.
**** Finally, Alexander was discharged from the hospital.
His family left for City M, while he and Lilith decided to stay back for another day, taking a much-needed day off.
A free day.
The city had a rich history, great sightseeing spots, and a charm that neither of them minded exploring at least for a while.
Lilith had already booked a hotel for a week, and since it was already paid for, Alexander ended up staying in the same hotel.
It wasn’t planned.
It wasn’t discussed.
But somehow, they were now sharing the same space.
And that was bound to make things interesting.
