Devilish secretary - Chapter 180
Chapter 180: Chapter 180 Leia Chapter 180: Chapter 180 Leia When Lilith stepped out of Alexander’s office, she had already fixed her clothes, smoothing out any creases with the grace of someone who had absolutely nothing to be guilty about.
Her expression?
Calm.
Composed.
Unbothered.
But Quinn, who had been waiting outside, wasn’t fooled.
The moment he saw her, his eyes widened, his mouth falling open as if he had just witnessed something life-altering.
Lilith paused, arching an eyebrow as she met his stunned gaze.
Quinn slowly looked at her, then back at the closed office door, then back at her again-his brain visibly struggling to process.
Lilith just shrugged, her face blank, as if to say, What are you looking at?
And without another word, she turned on her heel and walked back to her desk.
Inside her head, though, she was already blaming someone else.
‘Tch.
Human Doll is too naughty.’ As if she hadn’t been the one teasing him under the table like a menace.
She sighed, sitting down and pretending to work while her mind wandered.
If she kept pushing him like this, playing with fire every chance she got, then one day… One day, she was going to receive a punishment she wouldn’t be able to escape.
And judging by how he looked at her before she left… That day was coming soon.
*** Living Room of Carter Mansion The atmosphere inside the Carter mansion’s grand living room was heavy with frustration, jealousy, and resentment.
“We need to get rid of her!” Grandma Bria’s voice was sharp with Anger as she slammed her cane against the floor, her wrinkled hands trembling with anger.
“That woman is going to snatch your Sebastian, Sienna!
If we don’t do something soon, you’ll lose him forever!” Sienna sat stiffly on the velvet couch, her head slightly lowered.
“It’s alright, Grandma… I have so much work to do, I-” “Oh my God, Sienna, you’re too innocent!” Leia, her closest friend, who had just returned from abroad, scoffed in frustration.
“You work in his company all day, and what does he do?
He plays around with that orphan!
If you keep sitting back and doing nothing, don’t be surprised when you receive his wedding invitation in the near future!” Sienna’s hands clenched into fists on her lap.
Across the room, Liam, Sebastian’s friend, let out a bitter sigh.
“Ever since she came, Sebastian hasn’t even spoken to me properly.” His voice was low, filled with resentment.
Sienna glanced at him briefly, knowing that Liam had always supported her love for Sebastian.
For him, Sienna was like a goddess€“delicate, beautiful, someone he could never reach, yet someone he was willing to do anything for.
But no matter how perfect Sienna was, Sebastian remained blind.

Instead of choosing a woman like Sienna..elegant, kind, and strong, he was chasing after Lilith, an arrogant, self-absorbed orphan with no background, someone who had suddenly wormed her way into his life.
“I will never let her marry into the Carter family!” Grandma Bria slammed her cane down again, her face twisting in anger.
“That orphan has no background, no upbringing-she only knows how to seduce men!
If my grandson marries her, he’ll regret it for the rest of his life!” Sienna had told Leia everything from the beginning…how Lilith had torn apart the perfect Carter family and seduced Sebastian, recounting every detail from her own perspective.
Leia nodded furiously.
“Yes, Grandma!
And because of her, even Rose has become distant from you.
Before Lilith came, Rose used to be so close to you.
Now, she barely cares anymore.” Sienna sat quietly, listening to their words, her fingers digging into the fabric of her dress.
She had waited for years, building her place beside Sebastian, becoming the perfect woman for him.
She had molded herself to fit into his world, standing patiently by his side.
She had always been patient, composed, the perfect woman for Sebastian.
Yet, all of a sudden, Lilith came and took everything away.
No warning.
No chance.
Sebastian, who had never been interested in women before, who had never once looked at Sienna with anything beyond politeness- Now had his eyes locked on that orphan.
It didn’t make sense.
It wasn’t fair.
Sienna clenched her fists.
Lilith wasn’t like her.
She hadn’t spent years by his side.
She hadn’t sacrificed, endured, and waited like Sienna had.
And yet, she had stolen what was supposed to be hers.
Grandma Bria’s voice snapped her back to reality.
“Sienna, my dear, you need to do something.
If you don’t, you’ll lose him forever.” Sienna lifted her head, her face calm..too calm.
She wouldn’t lose.
She had spent too long waiting for Sebastian.
She wouldn’t let Lilith take him without a fight.
Sienna remained silent, her head lowered as if in deep thought, while Liam, who had been watching from the side, let out a bitter laugh.
“Sebastian is blind.
He’s ignoring a woman like Sienna-strong, intelligent, from a respectable family and running after a nobody.” His eyes darkened as he clenched his fists.
“An arrogant, self-absorbed woman with no roots, no family, no identity.
He’s making a mistake.” Grandma Bria’s face twisted in anger.
“He isn’t just making a mistake-he’s throwing away his future!” She turned to Sienna, her voice softer but filled with urgency.
“You have worked hard, my dear.
You have been by his side for years.
And now this-this orphan girl walks in and takes what should rightfully be yours?” Leia scoffed, flipping her hair.
“She probably researched everything about him before she entered his life.
That’s how these women operate-they know exactly how to trap rich men.” Sienna swallowed, her hands gripping the fabric of her dress.
Lilith had ruined everything.
Before she arrived, Sebastian had been distant from women, focused on work, cold to any sort of affection.
Sienna had accepted that, had waited patiently for the moment when he would finally see her.
But now?
Lilith had stolen every moment that should have belonged to her.
Liam let out a harsh breath, his frustration evident.
“Sebastian might not see it now, but one day, he’ll regret it.
Orphan girls like her-they are never satisfied.
She will take everything from him.
And by the time he realizes it, it will be too late.” Grandma Bria’s expression hardened, her knuckles turning white from gripping her cane.
“I will never let that orphan girl marry into this family.
Never.” Leia smirked.
“Then we just need to make sure she disappears before that happens.”
