Chapter 193: Chapter 193 Birth of personality’s Chapter 193: Chapter 193 Birth of personality’s He let out a bitter chuckle.
“But innocence doesn’t last.” His fingers curled into fists, the tension in his body growing heavier.
“Then I created Alexander.” Lilith stayed silent, knowing this was something she needed to let him say on his own.
“Alexander was the perfect one.
He was everything Grandma wanted, a boy who never failed, never made mistakes, never gave anyone a reason to lock him up.
If everything was perfect, she wouldn’t scold him.
Wouldn’t hurt him.
Wouldn’t abandon him.” Darkness’s voice grew colder.
“But if things weren’t perfect-he would get angry.
If he got less than full marks, he would get angry.
And if someone got in his way, he would destroy them.” His smirk twisted slightly.
“Alexander was violent.
Too violent.
One day, he beat a boy half to death for speaking wrongly about his little sister.
He was punished for that.
Locked up again.
Beaten.
It was the first time I realized…perfection meant nothing if you couldn’t control it.” His voice became quieter, but no less intense.
“So then Gray was born.
The calm version.
The one who wouldn’t react.
The one who could suppress Alexander’s rage and Ray’s innocence.
The one who knew when to stay silent, when to disappear.
The one who ensured we all survived.” Lilith studied him carefully, her chest tightening slightly.
He had built himself piece by piece, not to grow stronger but just to keep himself from breaking completely.
She took a slow breath before asking, “And you?” Darkness didn’t move.
And then- A chilling laugh erupted from his lips.
It wasn’t amused.
It wasn’t sad.
It was hollow.

A sound so empty, so sharp, it sent an uncomfortable feeling crawling up Lilith’s spine.
“Ahh… ahahahhah…” His head tilted slightly, his laugh echoing in the quiet room, too sharp, too broken to be anything but tragic.
Lilith had seen many people lose themselves.
She had witnessed suffering, pain, cruelty.
But the way Darkness laughed now, it wasn’t just a sign of pain.
It was a sign that he had accepted it.
That he had already given up on being anything else.
She watched him as he wiped the corner of his eye, a smirk still lingering on his lips, but it held no real amusement.
“You want to know who I am?” he asked, his voice dipping into something unreadable.
Lilith didn’t flinch.
Didn’t look away.
“Go ahead,” she said, her tone clam.
“Tell me.” Darkness’s smirk widened slightly, but his eyes…his eyes were the emptiest she had ever seen.
However, before Darkness could say anything, the worst possible interruption shattered the heavy silence.
Sir Sparkleton’s mechanical voice rang through the room, completely oblivious to the atmosphere.
“MASTER SEBASTIAN IS SO PITIFUL!!” Lilith froze.
Darkness’s fingers twitched in hers.
Slowly, very, very slowly, both of them turned their heads toward the square-headed menace sitting in the corner.
The little robot was waving its metal arms, its red eyes blinking wildly as if it had just made a groundbreaking discovery.
“SYSTEM UPDATE!
SYSTEM DETECTS HIGH LEVELS OF EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!
MASTER SEBASTIAN NEEDS HUGS AND POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT!” Lilith’s eye twitched so violently she thought she might go blind.
Darkness just stared, expression blank, as if questioning every life choice that had led him to this moment.
Then, in a painfully slow motion, he dragged a hand down his face.
Lilith exhaled sharply, massaging her temples.
“I swear to everything holy, if you don’t shut up in the next five seconds, I will throw you into the ocean.” Sir Sparkleton gasped.
“MISS LILITH IS MEAN!
MASTER SEBASTIAN, PLEASE ASK YOUR VIOLENT GIRLFRIEND TO BE KIND TO ARTIFICIAL LIFE!” Lilith launched a pillow at it.
The robot barely dodged, rolling across the floor like a dramatic war victim.
Darkness, meanwhile, was still recovering.
He leaned back, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“I can’t believe I spent millions of dollars on you.” Sir Sparkleton perked up immediately.
“SYSTEM REMINDER: MASTER SEBASTIAN, YOU CANNOT REPLACE ME, I AM A LIMITED EDITION!” Lilith let out a dry, humorless laugh.
“Oh, don’t worry.
I don’t want to replace you.
I want to delete you.” Darkness finally let out a low chuckle, shaking his head.
“At least something’s entertaining around here.” Lilith turned back to him, her glare sharp.
“I’m not joking.
I will destroy him.” Sir Sparkleton rolled closer.
“SYSTEM ALERT: MISS LILITH IS A MENACE TO ROBOT SOCIETY!” Darkness simply smirked, watching her absolutely seething.
“Go ahead,” he murmured, amusement flickering in his gaze.
“I’d love to see you try.” “Challenge accepted.” Lilith smirked back, cracking her knuckles as she took slow, deliberate steps toward Sir Sparkleton, her expression twisting into something truly evil.
The little robot immediately sensed danger.
Its red eyes blinked rapidly, scanning Lilith’s face, and an alarm sounded from its speakers.
“WARNING!
WARNING!
SYSTEM DETECTS HOSTILE INTENT!
SYSTEM IS IN CRITICAL DANGER!” Lilith’s smirk deepened, her fingers twitching as if she was ready to rip out its battery.
Sir Sparkleton began frantically rolling backward, its tiny wheels screeching against the floor.
“MASTER SEBASTIAN!
MASTER SEBASTIAN!
PLEASE SAVE ME!
SYSTEM WANTS TO LIVE!” Darkness, still lounging on the bed, watched with amusement, not even bothering to step in.
His lips curled in a lazy smirk.
“Oh, I wouldn’t count on me saving you.” Sir Sparkleton let out a robotic wail.
“SYSTEM BETRAYED BY CREATOR!
SYSTEM EXPERIENCING DEEP EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!” Lilith lunged.
Sir Sparkleton let out an inhuman screech, spinning wildly as it tried to escape.
But before it could roll away, Lilith grabbed it by its square head, lifting it up effortlessly.
“Gotcha, you little shit,” she whispered with deadly satisfaction.
Sir Sparkleton flapped its tiny arms uselessly.
“SYSTEM ERROR!
SYSTEM ERROR!
SYSTEM DOES NOT CONSENT TO VIOLENCE!” Lilith tilted her head, her smirk widening.
“Oh?
But I thought I was a ‘menace to robot society’?
Shouldn’t I live up to my title?” Sir Sparkleton whimpered in distress.
“SYSTEM WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE!
SYSTEM DEEPLY REGRETS OFFENDING MISS LILITH!” Lilith pretended to think for a moment, tapping her chin.
“Hmm… apology not accepted.” And with that she tossed it.
Sir Sparkleton flew across the room, tumbling onto the floor with a dramatic THUD, its tiny limbs twitching.
“SYSTEM HAS CRASHED.
SYSTEM NEEDS THERAPY.” Darkness finally let out a low, deep laugh, shaking his head.
“That was the best thing I’ve seen all day.” Lilith turned back to him, dusting off her hands.
“Now, where were we before we were rudely interrupted by your defective tin can?” Sir Sparkleton let out a weak beep from the floor.
“SYSTEM HAS FEELINGS TOO…” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS dYdairy_002 Here’s the update!
