Chapter 211: Chapter 211 Not my girlfriend
He knew he couldn’t have her.
Not really.
Not someone like her.
Still, he smiled genuinely, if a little bittersweet and rubbed the back of his neck.
“Would you… maybe like a tour of the island?” he asked, voice a little shy, a little hopeful. “You can enjoy yourself until your boyfriend arrives. There’s not much here, but we have a beach, a few cliff spots, and an old wind tower. It’s quiet. Not many people.”
Lilith opened her eyes slowly and looked at him.
He was trying. He knew where the line stood.
And still, he offered her something kind.
She studied him for a beat longer than necessary.
Then, the corners of her lips lifted slightly. “Hmm… a tour by my temporary island guide?”
Jack chuckled softly, shrugging. “Hey, I may not be a smart robot like yours, but I know how to make a good lemonade on the way.”
Lilith stretched slightly and stood from the bed, her long hair cascading down her back as she adjusted the simple outfit Jack’s mother had given her.
“Fine,” she said, brushing past him toward the door. “But if your lemonade is bad, I’m throwing you in the sea.”
Jack grinned wider despite the dull ache in his heart.
“Deal.”
Because even if he couldn’t have her heart—
He could give her a memory.

Who knew this ridiculous little tin can came with more than bad timing and worse jokes?
Turned out Sir Sparkleton carried his master’s virtual credit card.
And not just any card…a premium encrypted black-tier virtual credit key linked directly to Sebastian Carter’s personal offshore account.
“Master said this card is for emergency use only, and Miss Lilith qualifies as a walking emergency!” the robot had proudly declared, his red eyes flashing with devotion.
And so now, here she was.
Lilith, dressed in a flowing sundress the color of lemon cream, with a wide straw hat tilted perfectly on her head, her long dark hair dancing in the wind like silk threads catching sunlight. She rode a gleaming white bicycle down the island path, the pedals gliding effortlessly under her feet. Her posture was casual, elegant…as if she belonged to the breeze itself.
And nestled in the front basket—
Sir Sparkleton, sitting like royalty, humming soft background music and occasionally chirping,
“Miss Lilith, wind levels optimal for dramatic hair movement!”
Beside her, Jack pedaled his own bike, doing his best to keep pace…not with the speed, but with her presence.
His eyes kept drifting. To the way her dress moved with the breeze. The way sunlight lit her lashes.
The way she occasionally smirked to herself like she was far more than she let anyone know.

He wasn’t just riding alongside her.
He was caught in a dream he didn’t ask for but didn’t want to leave.
“You’re, uh… really good at this,” he said, breathlessly pushing up the path beside her.
Lilith didn’t even look at him. “I’ve raced celestial beasts before. This is relaxing.”
“…What?”
“Nothing,” she said, lips curling slightly.
Sir Sparkleton turned his head dramatically from the basket.
“Miss Lilith’s biking performance: graceful, commanding, and 86% likely to distract nearby males.”
“Robot, shut up,” Lilith muttered.
Jack laughed again, cheeks flushed…not just from the sun.
And for once… Lilith didn’t stop him.
The island spread wide before themquiet, untouched, and kissed by golden light. The ocean sparkled on one side, and distant gulls called overhead.
For a rare, fleeting moment,
Lilith wasn’t calculating escape routes or outsmarting enemies.
She was just a girl in a sundress, on a bicycle, letting the wind kiss her skin—
With a dumb robot in her basket—
And a quiet boy beside her trying not to fall completely.

The island breeze was gentle, carrying the scent of salt and sun-ripened fruit as Jack guided Lilith toward a small shack beneath a cluster of swaying palm trees. A wrinkled old woman sat there, peeling mangoes and humming to herself, with a stall of fresh coconuts arranged in baskets beside her.
Jack grinned as he hopped off his bike and looked at Lilith. “Trust me…this place has the best coconut water on the whole island.”
Lilith dismounted gracefully, her sundress falling back into place as she adjusted her hat and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. She glanced at the stand and then at the old woman who had now turned to look at them, her faded eyes crinkling with amusement.
Jack walked up to the woman with a boyish smile. “Grandma Lei! Two coconuts, please.”
The old woman squinted, then grinned widely when she saw him. “Jacky boy, look at you! I was wondering why the wind felt different today—now I know it brought a girl to your side.”
Jack blushed furiously. “Grandma..she’s not—”
But Grandma Lei was already chuckling, her hands working quickly as she took two of the ripest coconuts and started chopping the tops off with a practiced flick of her knife.
Lilith arched a brow, amused, as she leaned slightly against her bicycle. Sir Sparkleton hummed in her basket with an automatic, “New environmental scan complete. Probability of misunderstanding: 94%.”
“Such a pretty girl,” Grandma Lei said as she handed them the coconuts. Her eyes flicked to Lilith’s smooth skin and graceful poise. “You picked a strong one, Jack. Those eyes have fire. Just don’t upset her—she looks like the type who’ll set the house on fire if she’s bored.”
Lilith’s lips curled into a slow smile. “Only if I’m given reason to.”
Jack nearly choked on his first sip of coconut water. “Grandma, seriously, she’s just… she’s a guest. Not my girlfriend.”
“Hmph,” Grandma Lei said with a knowing chuckle, waving her hand dismissively. “That’s what they all say before the wedding. I’ll start knitting something white.”
Lilith laughed softly, tilting her coconut in a mock toast. “Well, Jack, looks like you’ve been claimed.”
Jack stared at her, speechless, his face now red enough to match a ripe tomato. “I-I think I liked it better when you were threatening the robot.”
Sir Sparkleton blinked. “Statement confirmed. Emotional damage increasing.”
Lilith took a long sip of her coconut, eyes twinkling over the rim. The sun glowed over her skin, and for a brief moment, the laughter, the breeze, and the sweet coconut made the world feel… light.
But somewhere deep in her chest, she knew—
Her human doll was getting closer.
And when he arrived, the quiet would shatter like glass.
