Devilish secretary - Chapter 239
Chapter 239: Chapter 239 Confession
The news hit the media like thunder.
“NYOM BROWN – UNDERWORLD KING EXPOSED!”
“ORGANS, GIRLS, AND BLOOD MONEY – THE DARK EMPIRE FALLS!”
“THE DEVIL IN A SUIT – NYOM BROWN’S CRIMES REVEALED!”
Every TV screen, every social media platform, every gossip blog, everyone was talking about it.
Images of blood-soaked files, underground bunkers, and shattered warehouses filled the screens. Video clips of police raids showed girls being rescued, black bags being carried out, and boxes full of human body parts recovered.
It was horrifying. It was true.
And it shook the world.
The name Nyom Brown, once whispered in fear and respact in high society, was now dragged into the dirt, where it belonged.
Reporters stood outside his mansion gates. Former employees and terrified witnesses stepped forward. And as investigations deepened, more truth surfaced—
He wasn’t just a businessman.
He was a monster in a mask.
He traded girls like objects.
Sold organs to the highest bidders. Kidnapped anyone who dared cross his path.
And buried bodies behind closed doors.
But the biggest shock came later that night.
“BREAKING NEWS: Nyom Brown Found Half-Dead in Abandoned Factory!”
Photos were leaked…blurry but real.
The media said his face was unrecognizable. His right hand crushed. His ribs shattered. Leg broken. Blood everywhere.
His head was partially bashed in, and doctors couldn’t say if he’d live till morning. The statement said:
“According to reports, Nyom was attacked by unknown rivals. Cops suspect it was an inside betrayal or old underworld enemies seeking revenge.”
But deep inside, people whispered—
“No rival could’ve done that.”
“That kind of punishment… it was personal.”
Some believed it was karma.
Some called it justice.

The beach was glowing with magic that evening.
White fabric danced in the soft ocean breeze, floating like whispers through the salty air. Tiny twinkling fairy lights framed the canopy, and a cozy bed made of soft cushions and fluffy white pillows sat in the center, surrounded by a ring of blooming hibiscus flowers—Ava’s favorite.
The golden sky reflected across the gentle waves. The sound of the sea was calming, like a lullaby. Everything felt perfect. Like a dream that waited years to be real.

Ava stood barefoot, her white dress swaying lightly, her soft hair brushing against her shoulders. She looked peaceful…until she turned and saw Nova kneeling before her.
Her breath hitched.
He looked nervous.
His fluffy golden hair was ruffled by the wind, and his light blue eyes were glowing like a boy caught between fear and love. He held a bouquet of the brightest hibiscus flowers, his hands trembling slightly.
“I—I love you, Ava…” Nova’s voice cracked softly, but his eyes never left hers. “I don’t know when my friendship turned into this…but I can’t hide it anymore. We’ve known each other since we were kids. We walked to school together. We watched cartoons and movies together. You were always there.”
He took a shaky breath, smiling sheepishly.
“I never had a girlfriend. Even when everyone else talked about crushes and dating…I never felt anything for anyone but you. When puberty hit—I only dreamed of you. Your laugh. Your voice. Your eyes.”
He laughed under his breath, then looked down for a moment before meeting her gaze again.
“But I didn’t know it was love… until that day. I thought I might lose you… my heart—it felt like it would stop forever. That’s when I knew. It was always you.”
Ava’s hands flew to her mouth, and her eyes filled with warm tears then a wide, teary smile broke across her lips. Without a word, she dropped to her knees in front of him and threw her arms around his neck.
“I love you too, Nova!” she whispered, hugging him tightly. “You have no idea… Everyone always thought I was the loud one, the cheerful one… but they never knew it’s only because I had you behind me. I could speak because I knew I wasn’t alone.”
She looked into his eyes and gently pressed her forehead against his. “You’re my home.”
Nova smiled with teary eyes.
“C-Can I kiss you, my little marshmallow?” he asked shyly, blushing.
Ava giggled. “Of course, you silly prince.”
He leaned closer, cupping her cheeks gently. Their lips met in a soft, warm kiss—slow, sweet, and full of years of hidden love. Ava’s hands slid up into his hair, and Nova’s arms pulled her gently onto his lap as the kiss deepened. It wasn’t wild or hurried.
It was peaceful.
Like a secret finally spoken.
And as the waves whispered on, and the sky faded into stars, they kissed under the flying fabric and flower-scented wind, hearts pressed together.
Two best friends.
Two soulmates.
One love.
After their long, heart-melting kiss, Nova and Ava lay side by side on the cozy bed, surrounded by soft pillows and the gentle rustle of the sea breeze. The white fabric above fluttered like slow-moving clouds, and the smell of hibiscus lingered around them, wrapping them in a bubble of quiet peace.
Ava rested her head on Nova’s chest, listening to his heartbeat—calm now, but still a little fast, probably because of her. She smiled to herself, her fingers tracing lazy circles on his shirt. Everything felt so peaceful, like time had slowed down just for them.
But then her eyes glanced around.
There was no one.
No servers, no waiters, no hotel staff, not even music playing. Just them… and the sea.
She lifted her head and narrowed her eyes slightly, her brows scrunching with playful suspicion.
“Wait… Nova,” she whispered. “How did you even plan this? And why is there no one else around? Where’s the staff? Where did this bed come from?”
Nova stiffened for a second, like a puppy caught chewing the sofa. His eyes widened, and then he quickly looked away, trying to act innocent. “U-Um…” he mumbled.
Ava sat up, leaning on her elbow. “Nova?”
He sighed dramatically and pouted, his cheeks turning pink. “I used all my savings to rent this beach spot for the day and set everything up before bringing you here. That’s why no one’s around. It’s… just for you,” he said, puffing his cheeks like an annoyed prince. “I wanted you to feel special.”
Ava’s heart skipped a beat but she crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.
“You’re such a silly prince,” she muttered, though her voice was soft and her eyes clearly sparkled with affection. “Spending everything on me like this… You should’ve at least kept money to eat!”
Nova rolled over, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her back into the pillows. “I already ate,” he whispered, nuzzling into her neck, “I ate love for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”
Ava smacked his shoulder lightly, laughing. “Idiot.”
“Your idiot,” he replied, tightening his hug.
And under the falling stars, they stayed tangled in each other’s arms, hearts beating in sync, dreams fluttering in the night air like the white fabric above them.
