Chapter 322: Chapter 322 Wish
Lilith carefully lit the candle, the soft flame casting a golden glow on Alexander’s face. She held out the cake with a grin. “Happy birthday, human doll. You’re now a 26-year-old man,” she teased playfully.

Alexander narrowed his eyes, leaning forward slightly. “Old man? Huh?” he scoffed, voice low and amused. “You do know this is the best age to get married and start having children.”

Lilith rolled her eyes, lips twitching into a smirk. “I’m still twenty-four. Way too young for that, old man,” she said, drawing out the words as if rubbing it in.

Without warning, Alexander flicked her forehead lightly, and she let out a soft yelp, laughing. Then he looked at the candle and closed his eyes. His expression softened, all teasing gone for a brief second. He made a wish silently, the edges of his lips tugging up into a small smile before he leaned forward and blew out the candle in one breath.

Lilith didn’t speak. She just stared at him for a moment, his peaceful face, the way his eyelashes brushed his cheeks, how the flickering light made him look both beautiful and a little sad.

“Did you wish for something impossible?” she asked softly.

He opened his eyes slowly, catching hers. “No,” he murmured. “I wished for something only you can give me.”

Lilith smiled, reaching for the knife.

Alexander took the knife from her hand with a quiet smirk and carefully cut a small slice of cake.

He picked up the piece with his fingers and raised it to her lips, but just as she leaned in to take a bite, he deliberately let some of the cream touch her lips and then her cheek.

Lilith blinked.

Before she could say anything, he whispered, “Don’t move.”

Then he leaned in and slowly licked the cream from the corner of her mouth, his warm breath brushing her skin.

Her heart skipped.

And just when she thought he was done, he gently traced his thumb along her bottom lip and slipped the remaining bite into her mouth.

“You taste better than the cake,” he murmured.

And Lilith’s eyes darkened as she took the knife and cut another piece of cake just for him. She leaned forward, raising it to his lips with slow precision, her gaze locked onto his.

Alexander’s eyes didn’t waver. He watched her with growing heat as he took a small bite… then another… and then, on the last one, his lips brushed her fingers.

She didn’t pull away.

Instead, her fingers lingered by his mouth and his eyes flickered with something more intense. He leaned in and softly licked the frosting from her fingertip, deliberately, savoring her reaction.

“Feeding me like this… do you even realize what you’re doing?” he whispered, his voice low and deep, his breath brushing against her skin.

Lilith’s breath caught. The air between them grew heavy, charged.

Alexander tilted his head slightly, his lips curling into a dangerous smile as he pulled her gently onto his lap. “If you keep looking at me like that,” he murmured, brushing her hair aside, “I might forget this is supposed to be sweet and not sinful.”

Lilith leaned closer, her voice just as teasing, “I never said I wanted sweet.”

He stared at her, then laughed under his breath soft, low, and utterly undone. “You’re going to be the death of me, Lilith.”

She whispered against his jaw, “Then die beautifully.”

He wanted to do something to her… something that definitely wasn’t innocent.

His gaze flicked to the cake_

–one last reminder of restraint and without a word, he picked it up and set it safely aside on the small table. Then, turning around, he saw her.

Lilith had laid back on the soft, cozy bed, her hair spilling across the pillows like ink on snow. She was in the middle of pulling off her sweater, the movement slow and unbothered, revealing the soft curve of her shoulders and the delicate dip of her collarbone.

He couldn’t look away.

He walked back to her side, his steps heavy and quiet on the soft rug of the tent. Her sweater slipped from her fingers, pooling beside her. She looked up at him with calm, sleepy eyes, completely unaware of how utterly undone she was making him.

“It’s cold,” she murmured, voice soft like silk against skin.

“Then let me warm you,” he said, his voice lower now, thick with something he was no longer hiding.

She just whispered, “Then warm me,” like it was the most natural thing in the world.

And his eyes darkened completely.

He slipped under the blanket beside her and pulled her gently into his arms. His hands, now rough with longing, traced her spine through the thin fabric of her pyjama top. Her body fit perfectly against his too perfect, too tempting. Every part of him burned to claim her, but he moved slowly, carefully.

“I want to help you too…” Alexander said huskily, his breath brushing against her lips, his voice coated in longing.

But Lilith cupped his face, her fingers soft but firm. “Today is your day,” she whispered, her eyes locking with his, then slowly trailing downward. “Let me take care of you…”

Alexander shook his head, his grip tightening in her hair as he pulled her closer, his voice barely restrained. “No.”

And before she could respond, his mouth crashed onto hers.

The kiss wasn’t gentle, it was deep, demanding, full of bottled-up hunger he had kept behind his charming smiles and warm touches. His lips moved roughly, fighting for dominance, trying to devour every inch of her resistance.

Lilith responded just as fiercely, her fingers tangled in his shirt, pulling him closer. Their breaths tangled, lips clashing again and again like waves crashing against the shore.

Then, without breaking the kiss, his hand slipped under her top. His fingers found her bare skin, tracing sinful patterns along her waist and ribs, slow and deliberate like he was memorizing every curve, every shiver she gave him.

Lilith’s eyes grew heavy with desire, a sultry haze settling in her gaze as she slowly pulled his thick sweater over his head, revealing the silk of his night shirt beneath.
