Devilish secretary - Chapter 51
Chapter 51: Chapter 51 How romantic Chapter 51: Chapter 51 How romantic Lilith’s smile deepened, her eyes narrowing slightly with playful defiance.
“So what if I refuse to sleep with you, sir?” she asked, tilting her head.
Her piercing blue eyes locked directly onto his, refusing to back down.
Sebastian’s grin didn’t waver.
Instead, it grew even more confident.
“I’m afraid, Miss Lilith,” he began smoothly, his voice low and teasing, “I can’t take no for an answer… porque soy tu jefe, mi cariño.” Lilith’s expression flickered for a moment-was that surprise?
Amusement?
Her lips twitched as if suppressing a smile.
Did he just call her ‘my darling’ in Spanish?
But he didn’t know she knows spanish.
Her guess felt certain, though she couldn’t believe her ears.
To be honest, the words sent a thrill racing through her veins, a mix of excitement and a strange, unfamiliar warmth.
This feeling, this spark-it was entirely new, and she wasn’t sure whether to embrace it or push it away.
“Yes,” Lilith whispered, feeling her heartbeat race as she caught his naughty smile directed at her.
“Let’s go,” Sebastian said casually, turning off the lights before climbing onto the bed.
“Ven a mis brazos, mi cariño,” (Come into my arms, my darling,) he murmured smoothly, his voice low and enticing as he stretched his arm out.
He smirked knowingly, certain she didn’t understand Spanish, though her raised eyebrow suggested otherwise.
“Sir,” Lilith began, her tone dripping with sarcasm, “you’re a man, and I’m a woman.
Surely, you’ve heard the saying-stranger men and women can’t sleep together on the same bed.” “But I’m your boss,” Sebastian said with a playful pout, his over-the-top expression making him look even more charming.
Lilith smirked, unfazed.
“Let’s make a pillow wall, then.” Sebastian sighed dramatically but had no choice.
He grabbed a few pillows, stacking them between them on the bed, and muttered under his breath, “How romantic…” Lilith chuckled softly, lying down on the left side of the bed, the pillow barrier firmly in place.
“Sir, are you seriously comfortable wearing that suit?
You didn’t even bother to change,” she asked, staring at the ceiling in the darkness.
Sebastian grinned, even though she couldn’t see it.
“Miss Mystery, are you imagining I’ll go take a shower, come back wearing just a towel, and let you admire my six-pack abs?” His teasing tone was filled with amusement.
“Sir, you’re seriously dululu,” Lilith retorted, rolling her eyes.
“But, no thanks.
Keep your fantasies to yourself.” In the quiet, Sebastian smirked to himself, settling deeper into the mattress.
On her side, Lilith felt oddly at ease.

She wasn’t uncomfortable-quite the opposite.
With Sebastian’s presence nearby, there was a strange sense of warmth and refreshment that she hadn’t expected.
Miss Mystery had fallen asleep quickly, her soft breaths filling the room.
Sebastian, however, was wide awake, feeling more and more uncomfortable in his suit.
He sighed, sitting up slowly, careful not to disturb her.
His gaze wandered to his suitcase at the corner of the room.
With a quiet huff, he got up, grabbed a pair of black pajamas, and disappeared into the bathroom for a quick shower.
The warm water worked wonders, easing his tension.
When he came out, dressed in his comfortable pajamas, he finally felt at ease-physically, at least.
But sleep still evaded him.
He found his eyes drifting back to Lilith.
She looked utterly serene, lying on her side, her hair spilling across the pillow.
There was something endearing about the way her features softened in sleep, even the tiny, occasional snores that escaped her.
It was…
cute.
Sebastian felt a tug in his chest, an unfamiliar warmth.
Then his eyes fell on the pillow wall.
That ridiculous barrier between them.
His jaw clenched, and without much thought, he grabbed the pillows, throwing them into every corner of the room with quiet frustration.
Finally, he rolled toward her, closing the gap between them.
Carefully, he slid closer, his arm wrapping around her waist.
He rested his head near her shoulder, taking in her warmth.
She smelled…
intoxicating.
A mix of something sweet and delicate, yet it held a depth that matched her mysterious aura.
He inhaled softly, his lips curling into a faint, content smile.
Maybe this was what he needed to finally fall asleep.
*** Sebastian Alexander heart skipped a beat as his eyes slowly opened to the morning light creeping in through the curtains.
He blinked a few times, feeling an odd sensation under his head.
The softness beneath him was unfamiliar, and for a moment, he couldn’t place it.
Then, as the haze of sleep lifted, the shock hit him.
…He had somehow ended up sleeping on Miss Lilith’s chest.
He quickly jerked his head up, but not without causing her to stir.
His heart raced, and a blush threatened to creep up his neck as he tried to adjust himself, hoping she wouldn’t wake up to the awkward situation.
Her body was warm, and the scent of her skin still lingered in the air.
He had fallen asleep so peacefully, his head resting on her chest like it was the most natural thing in the world.
But now, reality hit him hard.
“God, what have I done?” Sebastian cursed under his breath, trying to quietly untangle himself from her.
His perfect, controlled expression had completely shattered in the most unexpected way.
Lilith, still half asleep, shifted beneath him, unaware of the cause of the disturbance.
Sebastian froze, his hand resting on her waist as if waiting for her to wake up.
What if she caught him in this embarrassing position?
He couldn’t believe it.
He had slept on her chest.
Sebastian’s heart raced, and his face flushed as he quickly moved away, his body stiff with embarrassment.
He sat up on the bed and took a deep, shaky breath, running his hand through his tousled hair.
He needed a moment to collect himself and process what had just happened.
His gaze wandered around the room, desperate to avoid looking at Lilith, who was still fast asleep.
That’s when he noticed the pillows-scattered everywhere, some even at the far corners of the room.
Sebastian sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as realization dawned.
He took another deep breath and muttered under his breath, “Damn it!
It’s Ray again!”
