Devilish secretary - Chapter 60
Chapter 60: Chapter 60 Lilith warmth Chapter 60: Chapter 60 Lilith warmth Lilith felt a rare sense of calm as they sat near the lake under the starry night sky.
The tree above them had soft, glowing fairy lights that.
A cool breeze brushed past her, carrying the faint scent of water and grass.
The moon’s reflection danced on the calm surface of the lake, and only a few people lingered in the distance, minding their own business.
It was peaceful yet lively, just the way Lilith liked it.
Ava stretched her legs out, holding a plate of stolen food, while Nova leaned against the tree trunk with a curious expression plastered on his face.
“Lilith, you still haven’t told us what you’re planning to do with that video,” Nova said, breaking the comfortable silence.
He tilted his head curiously.
“Yes, yes, tell us, Lilith!
We’re your besties,” Ava added, her voice a playful whine as she took another bite of her food.
She looked up at Lilith with wide, expectant eyes, chewing dramatically.
“Yes!” Nova chimed in, sitting up straight.
“Come on, Lilith, we deserve to know.
We’re your besties, aren’t we?” Lilith tilted her head, her expression calm but teasing.
“Won’t tell you,” she said simply, enjoying how frustrated they looked.
“Ugh, fine!” Ava huffed, crossing her arms.
“But I’m really happy you left that scumbag Ryan.
Honestly, Lilith, you deserve so much better.” She clapped her hands suddenly, her energy bubbling back.
“To celebrate, we’re going to watch the new movie tomorrow!” Nova frowned.
“Who said I’m coming?” Ava turned to him with a sly grin.
“Of course you’re coming.
You’re driving us there, Mr.
Driver.” Nova groaned, throwing his head back dramatically.
“Why am I always the driver?
And don’t even think about making me pay for the tickets!” Ava scoffed, rolling her eyes.
“It’s the universal rule.
The man always pays.” Lilith, watching the two bicker like children, shook her head and leaned back against the tree, a faint smile playing on her lips.
After Nova and Ava dropped Lilith at her home, she sighed softly, realizing how much she had started to enjoy the company of those two adorable humans.
They were chaotic, loud, and far too nosy, but somehow, their presence brought a strange warmth she hadn’t felt in a long time.
Shaking her head at the thought, Lilith entered her apartment.

Lilith climbed onto her bed, her buddy sitting loyally on her bed.
She lovingly rubbed its head, a small smile tugging at her lips.
“Cute,” she murmured softly.
Settling in, she grabbed her laptop and powered it on.
As the screen lit up, she noticed Nova had already sent her the videos from earlier.
Without hesitation, she downloaded them, her fingers moving swiftly across the keyboard.
With a flick of her wrist, she opened her website, DevilsPlay.
The sleek, dark-themed page loaded instantly.
Her fingers danced over the keys, her mind sharp and focused.
She quickly checked the latest buzz online and smirked to herself.
Her engagement drama had already gone viral.
Headlines screamed her name, and hashtags were popping up across social media.
People were hungry for the juicy details, and she had all the answers.
Lilith leaned back, a sly grin playing on her lips as she began crafting the ultimate subscription package.
“Whole event video of Rayan brooks Engagement!
See what happened and uncover the full story,” She typed, setting up three special levels: short highlights, detailed version, and a full Full Access Edition.
Her eyes glinted with satisfaction as she edited the videos, trimming and polishing them until they were perfect.
With a deep, self-satisfied smile, she clicked Publish.
Moments later, a notification popped up: First Subscription Acquired.
“Not bad, Lilith,” she muttered to herself.
She closed her laptop with a soft snap, her mind already working with ideas for the next move.
*** The next day, Lilith opened the door to welcome her two “cute little humans” into her home for the first time.
Ava and Nova stepped inside, their eyes immediately darting around, taking in every corner with curiosity.
“You have a great home, Lili,” Ava said, her tone admiring.
Nova nodded in agreement, his eyes lingering on the minimalistic yet elegant decor.
“Thanks,” Lilith replied casually, closing the door behind them.
She gestured toward the plush sofa in the living room.
“Make yourselves comfortable.” Ava flopped onto the sofa without hesitation, her bright eyes scanning the room.
Nova followed, sitting a bit more reservedly, but his curiosity was still evident.
“What do you want?
Water or coffee?” Lilith asked, walking toward the open kitchen.
“Coffee,” Ava said, stretching her arms lazily.
Then, with a cheeky grin, she added, “And some snacks too.
Something fancy, if you’ve got it.” Lilith raised an eyebrow at Ava’s informal demand but said nothing.
Instead, she smirked as she grabbed her coffee maker.
As the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the room, she reached for a tray of cookies and some light pastries she had stored.
When she returned to the living room, Ava’s face lit up at the sight of the food.
“Now, this is what I call hospitality!” she exclaimed, grabbing a cookie.
Nova shook his head, laughing softly at Ava’s enthusiasm.
“Ava, you’re too much sometimes.” Lilith chuckled, setting the tray down on the coffee table.
“You’re lucky I didn’t kick you both out for making demands in my house,” she teased, sitting in the armchair opposite them.
Ava winked at her.
“You wouldn’t dare.
You love us too much.” Lilith rolled her eyes but didn’t deny it.
“Anyway, it’s you who said to make ourselves comfortable,” Ava shot back, munching on another cookie, her words playful but unapologetic.
Lilith smirked and leaned back in her chair, sipping her coffee.
“Fair enough.
I walked into that one.” Ava clapped her hands together suddenly, her face lighting up with excitement.
“Okay, enough chit-chat.
Lilith, you’re still not ready!
Get up!
Nova’s already booked the tickets for us, and we’re on a schedule.” Nova raised his hand lazily, barely glancing up from his coffee.
“Don’t blame me if we’re late.
I told you all to be ready earlier.” Ava shot him a sharp look.
“Hush!
We’ll get ready on time.
But, Mr.
Driver, you still haven’t told us which movie you booked.
Suspense much?” Nova shrugged, a smirk playing at his lips.
“You’ll find out soon enough.” “Ugh, fine.
Let’s focus on more important things.” Ava turned back to Lilith, her expression serious-well, as serious as Ava could manage.
“Lilith, I’m helping you pick out a dress.
You cannot wear something boring today.
We’re celebrating your freedom from that scum!” Lilith rolled her eyes, setting her coffee cup down.
“Ava, it’s just a movie.
I don’t need to dress up like I’m attending a royal ball.” “Nonsense!” Ava said, already pulling her up from the chair.
“You’re stunning, Lili, and we’re not wasting that.
Let’s go raid your wardrobe.” Lilith sighed, letting Ava drag her to the bedroom.
Nova watched the scene with a small chuckle, shaking his head.
“Good luck, Lilith.
You’re in for it now.” However, as Ava walked into Lilith’s room, she suddenly screamed loudly, her voice echoing through the house.
Shocked, Nova dashed into the room, his eyes widening at the sight.
There, on the bed, a skeleton.
He froze for a second, then screamed and ran toward Ava, wrapping his arms around her tightly.
“Ava!
Ava, there’s a skeleton!
It means there’s a ghost!
A ghost!” Nova panicked, his voice high with fear as he clung to her.
“Relax, guys, this is my buddy,” Lilith said lovingly, gently rubbing the skeleton’s head with a fond smile.
Ava and Nova exchanged terrified glances, their eyes widening in disbelief as they watched Lilith treat the skeleton like it was the most normal thing in the world.
They both started shivering uncontrollably, their fear escalating by the second.
“A…
buddy?” Nova stammered, his voice shaky.
“Lilith, that’s a skeleton…
How can you call that a buddy?” Ava, still clutching onto Nova as if he were her lifeline, managed to squeak, “You’re…
you’re serious?
That’s your ‘buddy’?” Lilith nodded, completely unfazed by their fear.
“Isn’t my buddy cute?” Her eyes softened with warmth, a tenderness they hadn’t seen before, but it only made the situation feel even scarier.
The calmness in her voice, coupled with the strange affection she had for the skeleton, left Ava and Nova standing there, completely frozen.
“You…
you call that cute?” Nova shivered, his voice barely above a whisper as he looked at the skeleton in horror.
“That’s…
that’s terrifying, Lilith!” Lilith, however, was completely serious.
She leaned down, placing a soft kiss on the skeleton’s skull, as though it was the most natural thing in the world.
“He is cute,” she said with absolute certainty, her face full of affection for her buddy.
Ava, who had been watching in utter disbelief, finally snapped.
“Oh my god…” Her voice broke as she stepped back, her eyes wide with panic.
She looked like she was about to lose it entirely.
“You-You kissed it!
You actually kissed the skeleton!” Nova’s face was pale, his eyes darting nervously around the room as if trying to find an escape route from the bizarre situation.
He pulled Ava closer to him, trying to steady himself.
“Lilith, please, tell me you’re joking.
This is next level even for you.”
