Chapter 35:The Leader of the Seven Lords
“Where could my mother be?” Yan’er asked worriedly.
I patted her shoulder to comfort her. “Don’t worry too much. Let’s go find Samael… Oh, right.”
I suddenly remembered Zicheng’s wife’s killer, Li Hongwei, and Luo Hu. I quickly searched among the followers’ corpses.
But I couldn’t find a Chinese man with a scar on his face or Luo Hu.
“It seems Li Hongwei didn’t attend the gathering, and we can’t find Luo Hu either. This trip to Satan’s Cult headquarters was in vain,” I said.
“No, at least we captured Wukong. We can interrogate him. And there’s that strange flute… Eh? Big brother, Wukong is gone!” Yan’er pointed behind me.
I quickly turned around and found that Wukong had indeed disappeared from where he had been lying unconscious.
As I turned back to warn Yan’er to be cautious, I saw her staring blankly behind me.
Seeing her strange expression, I knew someone was behind me. I immediately activated the “Eye of Illusions” and turned to strike with lightning speed!
But after launching my attack, I found nothing but empty air behind me.
Puzzled, I turned back to Yan’er and asked, “Did you see anything just now?”
“Just… just now, there was a blond man standing behind you. A very beautiful blond man. But he suddenly disappeared when you turned around,” Yan’er said, snapping out of her daze.
“A beautiful blond man?” I was on high alert, quickly scanning my surroundings, but aside from the numerous corpses, there was no one else.
As I heightened my senses, I suddenly felt someone watching me from above. I immediately looked up at the beams but still found no one.
“Stop looking.”
Suddenly, someone whispered coldly in my ear.
“Who!”
I couldn’t believe an enemy had gotten so close without me noticing. I quickly grabbed Yan’er and leaped backward, turning around, only to find the spot where we had been standing empty.
My heart raced, knowing I had encountered a formidable foe. But this enemy’s skill was so advanced that I couldn’t even catch a glimpse of him.
I held Yan’er tightly, pulling her in front of me to protect her from any potential attack.
Suddenly, someone patted my shoulder and asked, “Are you Bi Yongnuo?” It was the owner of that cold voice!
I knew turning around would be pointless, so I stayed on guard and smiled, “Yes, how do you know I am…”
Before I could finish, I elbowed backward, but it hit nothing but air.
“Hmph, you think you can hit me with that speed?”
The cold voice echoed in the air. Suddenly, a black shadow flashed before my eyes, and a white-clad man appeared out of thin air in front of me.
I stopped breathing, staring at him in a daze, because this man was unbelievably beautiful!
The man had a pair of lively green eyes, but his skin was as white as snow, devoid of any blood color.
His shiny blond hair reached down to his waist, and his features were incredibly delicate and handsome. If not for his thick eyebrows, he could easily be mistaken for a stunning woman like Daji.
However, the blond man’s expression was haughty and cold. After glancing at me, he raised his head and snorted, “Not much to look at.”
Hearing him speak snapped me back to reality. I asked him in a deep voice, “Who are you?”

Still holding his head high, he said arrogantly, “Samael.”
Hearing his name, I gasped.
After the recent battle with Wukong, I could only muster about eighty percent of my strength.
I had thought that even if I couldn’t defeat other enemies, I could at least escape safely. But after witnessing Samael’s invisible movements, I knew there was no way I could escape with Yan’er.
“So, you’re Samael? I’ve heard of you. I thought I wouldn’t see you here today, but now you’ve appeared,” I said, pulling Yan’er behind me.
“I’ve been here all along, just not showing myself,” Samael said coldly.
“Where did you take my mother?” Yan’er asked anxiously upon learning that the blond man was Samael.
Samael glared at Yan’er coldly and said, “Daji has been taken to Japan.”
“Why did you take her to Japan?” Yan’er asked urgently.
“I can’t tell you that,” Samael said coldly.
I asked in a deep voice, “What are you plotting? Release Daji now! I might have failed last time, but I won’t let you go this time.”
Samael looked at me with disdain and said, “The person you met last time wasn’t me.”
I was surprised, “Aren’t you the leader of Satan’s Cult?”
Samael replied coldly, “I haven’t been for a while. The current leader is someone else.”
“Who is it then? And why are you capturing demons?” I asked in a deep voice.
“I can’t tell you that either,” Samael paused and then said, “I came here out of curiosity to see you, but your performance has been utterly disappointing.”
I wiped my nose and smiled, “Let’s have a fight first, then we’ll talk.”
Before I finished speaking, I had already raised the power of my Devil eye to seventy percent. Instantly, a thick demonic aura emanated from me.
Samael glared at me and said coldly, “I observed your battle with Wukong earlier. I’m well aware of your strength. If you really want to fight me now, I can kill you in just two seconds.”
As he spoke, his figure blurred for a moment. At the same time, a sharp pain suddenly struck my stomach!
“You… you’re too fast,” I said, stumbling backward and smiling through the pain.
Samael looked at me indifferently and said, “With your level of power and skill, thinking you can oppose me is premature.”
Then his figure flashed again, and with a “boom,” this time, my face was hit.
I covered my bleeding nose, took a few steps back, and cursed, “Damn it, you really want to kill me?”
Samael sneered, “Yes, I want to kill you because your existence hinders our plans. Boy, prepare to die!”
With that, Samael’s figure blurred again!
“Unfortunately, I have to stop you.”
Rahab’s voice suddenly echoed from the air!
Suddenly, a dark shadow descended rapidly from above, crashing into the ground in front of me and creating a large pit.
Dust flew everywhere as I leaped back with Yan’er. I saw Rahab sitting on top of the fallen Samael in the pit!
In fact, Rahab had arrived at the square while I was talking to Samael.
But to avoid being detected by Samael, he had hidden his presence and slowly climbed to the ceiling.
When he reached the spot above me, he used a secret voice transmission to instruct me to retreat, giving him the opportunity to launch a surprise attack.
“Rahab, it’s been over five hundred years,” Samael said coldly, glaring at Rahab.
“Samael, after all these years, you’re still as detestable as ever,” Rahab said angrily.
“Yes, I’m still the same. So, you don’t think you can defeat me after all these years, do you?” Samael sneered.
“I might not be able to defeat you, but I can hold you off and keep you from harming Satan,” Rahab said angrily. “I’ve let you succeed once before, but I won’t let you wreak havoc again!”
With that, both of their figures suddenly disappeared.
Instantly, a fierce wind swirled around me, and the sound of countless clashes filled the air as Rahab and Samael engaged in a rapid battle!
Their movements were so fast that I could only see a black and a white shadow intertwining and crossing in my eyes.
I held Yan’er tightly, not daring to move, for fear of being struck by mistake.
After a while, the fierce wind suddenly stopped. I saw Samael standing calmly a short distance in front of me, but his white clothes were stained with four patches of blood.
“Distance, always the distance. Even after five hundred years, your progress is still minimal,” Samael sneered.
“Samael, don’t think I didn’t notice. Among those four bloodstains, one is yours,” Rahab suddenly appeared on my shoulder and said.
Samael snorted coldly, “But that’s not enough to defeat me.”
Rahab squinted and smiled, “I told you, I’m not here to defeat you, but to stop you.”
“Then let me test you!” Samael’s green eyes suddenly turned crimson, and a powerful demonic aura surged around him, his gaze cold enough to send chills down anyone’s spine!
“Hmph, I didn’t expect you to regain the ‘Eyes of Binding Spirits’?” Rahab simultaneously summoned his Devil eye, and his left eye turned blood-red.
“Yes, now that I have both eyes, you can’t possibly defeat me,” Samael said arrogantly.
“Not necessarily, not necessarily,” Rahab said confidently but then whispered to me through a secret voice transmission, “Xiao Nuo, when I restrain Samael later, take Yan’er and escape quickly.”
I kept a calm face but stayed alert.
Just as I was fully focused, Samael’s killing intent suddenly vanished without a trace, and his eyes reverted to their original green color.
Rahab was puzzled and asked coldly, “What trick are you playing?”
“The leader has ordered me to let you go for now,” Samael said indifferently to me. His figure flashed and disappeared, only to reappear holding the unconscious Wukong.
“Hmph, consider yourselves lucky today. But remember, Rahab, I was once the leader of the Seven Lords. Until the end of the world, don’t expect to ever defeat me,” Samael said arrogantly before disappearing from the spot.
“The leader of the Seven Lords…” After Samael left, Rahab muttered to himself and then fell weakly from my shoulder.
I asking urgently, “Old Cat, are you okay?”
I saw that his small body had several severe wounds.
I had never seen Rahab injured before, and I felt a bit anxious.
Fortunately, Rahab nodded slightly and said, “Yes, just some injuries, nothing serious.”
With that, he summoned his Devil eye to heal himself. Seeing that he wasn’t in serious trouble, I felt relieved.
I turned and handed Rahab to Yan’er, saying, “Let’s get back outside and talk.”
Yan’er nodded, took Rahab, and followed me as we left.
However, as we passed Liu Yuxuan’s corpse, it suddenly “came to life” and grabbed my leg!
“Hehehehe, Bi Yongnuo, we meet again.”
Liu Yuxuan’s corpse lifted its blood-stained face and grinned hideously, but the voice that came from its throat was that of the leader of Satan’s Cult!
