Chapter 65: Chapter 63: Find the base
Terrified by the horrifying scene, Naoto didn’t dare disobey. With tears streaming down his face, he endured the pain and stammered, “N-no, I don’t want to die!” Having read thousands of comics, he knew the consequences of angering a bloodthirsty maniac.
“Good, you’ve learned,” the man said, clapping his hands in approval. Then, with a swift motion, he sliced off Naoto’s left ear.
The world turned red with blood, and Naoto felt dizzy. The excruciating pain tore at his sanity, making him wonder if he had entered a world that didn’t exist in comics.
In a daze, Naoto saw the man biting his bloody left ear and said, “You don’t want to die? Don’t take me for a fool. What’s with all this gasoline? You clearly wanted to set yourself on fire and become a roast pig. If I hadn’t been quick to cut off your hand, the whole forest would be ablaze, and our secret base would be discovered.”
“Base? Ha… ha, so your secret base is underground,” Naoto said, forcing a smile despite his confusion. “You villains do all sorts of evil deeds, and you treat me like this. Usagi… Usagi will take care of you all!” With that, Naoto felt a shake, and the man’s sinister face appeared before him as he was lifted off the ground.
“Fatso, what did you say? That ‘Usagi’ knows our base is underground?” the man asked, frowning.
“Yeah, your so-called secret base… Usagi already knows,” Naoto said, smiling confidently. “Because she is Sailor Moon!”
Hearing this, the man was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter.
“Haha… I didn’t expect you to be not only fat but also a fool, talking about Sailor Moon,” the man said, wiping tears from his eyes. “Even so, you still have to die because you accidentally revealed our base’s location. But since you planned to commit suicide, killing you won’t make a difference.”
Naoto looked up at the man, weakly smiling, “No, Usagi will save me… and kill you… kill you, kill you!”
The man threw Naoto’s large body to the ground and sneered, “Fatso, talking nonsense. Even if Usagi Tsukino came, she’d still be subdued by me.”
“Don’t… talk nonsense!” Naoto said, lying on the ground, clenching his fists, and glaring at the man.
“Heh, you dare call me a liar, fatso. Fine, since you’re going to die anyway, I won’t argue with you,” the man said, licking the blood off his knife and walking toward Naoto with an evil smile. “Don’t worry, when Usagi Tsukino arrives, I’ll strip her sailor suit off piece by piece, make her naked, and fuck her in front of your corpse. So don’t die with your eyes closed!” With that, the man raised his thin arm and swung the knife at Naoto’s forehead!
Naoto closed his eyes in terror, his mind going blank.
Goodbye, Mom and Dad. Goodbye, Usagi…
A warm liquid suddenly splashed on Naoto’s face, the smell of blood filling his nostrils. Naoto knew it was his own blood.
Naoto knew he was dead.
“Hey, fatso, you’re not dead yet,” a male voice suddenly said beside him.
Hearing this, Naoto slowly opened his eyes and realized he was still alive. The skinny man was still standing in front of him, holding the knife, but his head was missing, and blood was spraying from his neck, almost blinding Naoto.
“Could it be… Usagi?” Naoto blinked and saw a handsome young man standing behind the skinny man’s corpse, exuding an aura of evil. A shiny black cat was sitting on the boy’s shoulder.
“Hey, are you okay?” the boy asked, squatting beside Naoto with a smile.
“Uh… yeah, I’m fine!” Naoto said, looking at the boy, wondering who he was.
At that moment, the black cat on the boy’s shoulder spoke, “Nuo, finish off this fatso quickly. We’re on enemy territory!”
“A talking cat? Could it be,” Naoto said in amazement, pointing at the black cat, “Are you Luna?”
The black cat didn’t answer, just furrowed its brows. Then its figure suddenly blurred.
At that moment, Naoto felt a sharp pain in his neck, and everything he saw flipped upside down.
“Ah…” Naoto Suzuki, his chin raised to the sky, tried to cry out in pain but found his body unresponsive. The pain in his neck began to spread, and his consciousness started to fade. He knew that this time, he was really going to die. He couldn’t understand why he was being victimized, nor could he comprehend why the person he loved so much had never come to save him.
“Usagi, why are you so heartless? Why won’t you come and save me…” Suzuki’s mind began to blur, and a tear fell from the corner of his eye, the last tear of his life.
Suddenly, Suzuki wished he was dreaming. If he woke up from this dream, he swore he would change his introverted personality. He would no longer argue with his parents, confine himself to his home, or be obsessed with Usagi Tsukino.

The Usagi Tsukino who wouldn’t come to his rescue.
“I also wish this were just a dream,” a flat yet subtly sorrowful male voice suddenly invaded his thoughts. Then, a demonic red eye appeared in front of him, occupying Suzuki’s last memory, but it also reviewed all of Suzuki’s memories.
After viewing the fat man’s memories, Zicheng, looking exhausted, shuddered and exhaled a deep breath, saying calmly, “That’s all there is. It seems this Suzuki was just an ordinary young man seeking death.”
I patted Zicheng’s shoulder and said, “Young people these days are really something else. Their will is so weak. Just because his toys were destroyed, he wanted to live or die.”
Zicheng looked at me and forced a smile.
… …
Three days ago, Yang Jian used his “Clairvoyance Eye” to locate their undercover agent in the Satan’s Cult, who was in Aokigahara Kikai. However, Yang Jian overexerted himself during the search. When he discovered the undercover agent was safe, he fainted from joy. When he woke up, he could no longer find the agent but noticed that his “Clairvoyance Eye” couldn’t see underground in the forest. Generally, the “Clairvoyance Eye” could observe any living creature, even underground. This indicated that something secretive must be hidden beneath Aokigahara Kikai, and Cerberus asserted that it was their headquarters. So, we waited three days at the temple for Zicheng and Miyamoto Musashi to recover before setting off.
A short while ago, the seven of us rode the Howling Sky Dog to Aokigahara Kikai. To avoid detection, Cerberus had the Howling Sky Dog land at the forest’s edge, far from its center. But as soon as we entered the forest, the Howling Sky Dog smelled a mix of blood and gasoline. We quietly tracked the scent and found the skinny man tormenting Suzuki. Cerberus deduced from the man’s attire that he was from the Satan’s Cult, likely encountering Suzuki during a patrol. Initially, we planned to observe and follow the man into the Satan’s Cult’s base after he dealt with Suzuki. But I sensed a significant amount of life energy in Suzuki, and to ensure I had enough demonic energy for the upcoming battle, I intervened and killed the man before he could kill Suzuki, intending to absorb Suzuki’s life energy. However, Rahab suddenly twisted Suzuki’s head off.
“Damn cat, I could have absorbed this fat man’s life energy. Why did you kill him?” I said to Rahab, displeased.
“I hate it when people give me random names, and this fat man mistook me for a female cat. He deserved to die,” Rahab said coldly without looking at me, then jumped from my shoulder to the ground and walked away.
Watching Rahab’s back, I couldn’t help but frown.
