Chapter 95: Chapter 93:Underground tunnel
“Let’s go!” Aimana pressed a button, and the dark screen suddenly turned green, switching to night vision mode. The computer screen displayed the view in front of the cheetah, with a small square map in the bottom right corner showing red and yellow dots. From the image, a narrow tunnel could be seen in front of the cheetah, with water flowing on the ground, just covering the cheetah’s paws.
After everyone got back into the car, Aimana placed the handheld computer in front of me. He stared at the screen, his lips moving slightly as he chanted softly
“Big brother, the cheetah is moving!” Yan’er suddenly shouted from behind me. On the screen, the yellow dot representing the cheetah’s position was moving rapidly forward on the map, increasing the distance from the red dot representing the car.
“Everyone, hold on,” I said, shifting gears and stepping on the gas. The jeep shot forward like an arrow.
Following the direction on the screen, I closely pursued the yellow dot. After a while, the two dots overlapped.
“The cheetah is now directly below us,” I said.
“Thankfully, we’re in the desert with no obstacles around. Otherwise, driving like this while tracking would be ten times more difficult,” Zicheng said from the back seat.
“But since the person confidently walked into the waterway, there must be an exit at the end of the tunnel, possibly leading to a city,” I said, looking at the screen. Despite the winding underground waterway, it seemed to stretch northward.
Aimana, sitting beside me, remained focused on controlling the cheetah, not making a sound. Whenever the cheetah encountered an obstacle underground, he would chant softly, allowing the cheetah to push or dodge and continue moving forward.
“Little Nuo, what did your master hide that would make someone go to such lengths to steal his body?” Aimana suddenly asked, glancing at me.
“Honestly, I don’t know,” I said, looking ahead and sighing. “I was guided to return and find something, but the person didn’t tell me what it was.”
“Didn’t you and Rahab thoroughly search when you buried your master?”
“Yes, there was nothing special around him,” I said, frowning. “So I suspect the person was referring to memories.”
“Memories? Little Nuo, you have quite an imagination. Once we retrieve the body, let me help you search,” Aimana said with a sinister smile. “If your master really hid something, it won’t escape my eyes.”
I smiled and changed the subject, “Aimana, do you think we can catch up with the enemy in the underground waterway?”
“The cheetah has been dead for five days, meaning the body thief left the Valley of the Whales five days ago,” Aimana said, not looking at me, his eyes still on the computer. “In five days, the enemy could be far away! Unless…”
“Unless what?” I asked, turning to look at Aimana, only to see his eyes widen as he stared at the screen.
“The enemy is ambushing underground!” Aimana shouted, rapidly chanting.
I immediately looked at the screen and saw a large, muscular figure appearing in the greenish image.
“Is that the body thief?” I asked Aimana urgently.
“It’s him! The cheetah recognizes his scent!” Aimana shouted, almost roaring.
I could vaguely see on the screen that the man was shirtless, wearing tattered pants, but his face was unclear. The cheetah raised its head, instinctively seeing his face, but a giant hand suddenly reached for the camera!
The camera shook violently as the cheetah leaped from between the giant’s legs to his back. The spot where the cheetah had stood was now filled with splashing water and shattered stones.
A loud roar came from the computer as the giant missed his strike, screaming in rage.
“He’s coming again!” Yan’er shouted from behind us as the giant swung his fist at the cheetah on the screen.
“Watch my skills!” Aimana sneered, chanting complex spells. The camera showed the giant’s back again, but this time the cheetah jumped to the top of the tunnel and then leaped down.
In the narrow, dark tunnel, the giant’s large body moved clumsily, unable to keep up with the cheetah, which was ten times more agile than when it was alive. The giant’s punches mostly missed, while the mummified cheetah, feeling no pain or fear, attacked relentlessly, even when it was hit hard. The cheetah’s potential had been fully unleashed by the corpse-handling technique, making its muscles extremely active and strong, allowing it to perform three-dimensional jumps and attacks.
As the fight continued, the giant accumulated more wounds from the cheetah’s claws and bites, and the water on the ground began to turn red.
“This guy has nothing with him, so he must have hidden my master’s body somewhere,” I said, stopping the car. “The cheetah has the upper hand now. If it can tire the giant out, we can easily capture him and find out where my master is and who is behind this.”
“But…” Daji, who had been observing from the back seat, suddenly said, “Although he is stronger than an ordinary person, his skills shouldn’t allow him to kill three cheetahs without a scratch.”

“Could it be because the mummified cheetah is more agile now, giving you that impression?” I asked, turning to her.
“No, I was once a fox and understand the capabilities of cheetahs well,” Daji said with a gentle smile.
I thought for a moment and continued, “I think this person must have had help. Maybe others were there to assist him, allowing him to kill the cheetahs without getting hurt.”
Daji nodded, about to say more when Aimana suddenly shouted, “Got him!”
I was overjoyed and immediately looked at the screen, seeing a close-up of the giant’s face.
Although the night vision camera’s image was not clear, the giant’s features were very flat, and his eyes were filled with confusion and dullness, indicating low intelligence.
“Is this the body thief?” I asked, frowning. From his appearance, he had great strength but low intelligence, making it unlikely that he had the wit to steal a body. There must be someone behind him.
“Yes, he’s now exhausted from fighting the cheetah and can’t move,” Aimana said, wiping the sweat from his forehead with a cold smile. “Little Nuo, what do you want to do with him? Should the cheetah bring him to the end, or…”
“Kill him,” I said, looking at Aimana. “He seems to be mentally impaired. Even if we torture him, he might not reveal anything. It’s better to kill him and let Zicheng’s ‘Eye of Reminiscence’ see who is behind this.”
I spoke in Arabic, so everyone in the car remained calm, except for Daji, whose seductive lips curled slightly.
“Got it,” Aimana said with a sinister laugh, chanting a spell.
The cheetah let out a fierce roar, and the giant’s face suddenly filled the screen as the cheetah aimed to bite his throat. The giant did not sit still, shaking his head and dodging the cheetah’s fangs. However, he was clearly exhausted from the previous fight, and his movements became slower.
Finally, the cheetah seized the opportunity and bit the giant’s throat.
“Don’t be afraid; you’re a promising talent!” Aimana laughed sinisterly, seemingly talking to someone. “You’re just taking a trip to the underworld. I’ll bring you back soon!”
He muttered to himself and then activated the corpse-handling technique again, intending to tear the giant’s throat.
But at that moment, something strange happened!
On the screen, the giant’s face suddenly showed bulging blood vessels, and his pupils contracted. His previously confused eyes became excited and fiery, and he made a strange “huh-huh” sound. The night vision camera shook violently, and two objects, along with some liquid, splashed onto the giant’s suddenly ferocious face.
” Eyeball!” Aimana recognized it first.
I immediately realized that the giant must have used his palms to crush the cheetah’s head, forcing its eyes out from the shattered skull!
“But wasn’t he already exhausted? How did he suddenly have the strength to attack?” I asked, frowning.
“That bastard!” Aimana ignored me, cursing under his breath as he began chanting again. But just then, the giant let out a loud roar.
The roar was full of anger, and even through the computer, it drowned out Aimana’s chanting.
Aimana continued chanting, undeterred, but before the cheetah could move, the giant grabbed it.
Roar!
The giant roared at the camera again, his ferocious expression filling the screen. Then, with some unknown movement, the cheetah suddenly lay on the ground, its eyes staring at the giant’s submerged feet, motionless.
Seeing the cheetah lying still, I was about to urge Aimana, but he suddenly looked at the computer and sneered, “Heh, he actually managed to tear the cheetah in half with his bare hands. Impressive!”
I was shocked and asked, “What did you say?”
