Chapter 486: Warning!
The first meeting with the orcs ended with no progress. It seemed they wanted to marry the youngest princess to the prince. However, when finding out she already had a partner and expecting a child. The faces of the delegation leader and their prince became pale.
‘The orc prince seemed to want to duel me, haha. The insignificant insect dares look at my woman.’
Asura sat on the edge of the elven citadel wall, overlooking the beautiful forest with countless elven homes built around the thick trunks.
Elven trees were different from those in the human lands—their trunks were metres wide, and they lived for thousands of years once fully grown.
‘Well, there is also the rumour they can live forever if planted near a world tree.’
He took a deep breath, the fresh energy and vitality from the planet flowing into his body while Spica slept beside him.
He came here after visiting the place where the resistance members and Shang Luo were located. Asura ended up taking her on a walk, able to summon his wings in the form of magic to take her flying across the city.
“Nn….Mmm….”
Spica hugged his arm, her body slowly filling with the pure vital energy that surpassed even Animus in density and strength.
With the flick of his sharp black claw, cutting his flesh. A silver streak dripped from Asura’s palm before he squeezed the wound, letting the blood drip into Spica’s mouth. Inside the silver blood were specks of gold and black.
‘Because the pure vital energy is too strong for her mortal body, it causes slight damage. I found that my blood helps with the fusion and slowly changes her flesh and organs to accept the energy naturally by accident.’
Asura thought back to earlier when she began to convulse a little after taking the energy, and nothing he did could help her.
Until he kissed her in desperation to help transfer healing magic into her body, and she bit his tongue.
‘The moment my blood began to flow into her mouth, Spica began to heal and recover. I guess my other women will have to endure this change. I cannot risk leaving them vulnerable to danger anymore.’
What worried him was that his blood now seemed like an elixir, similar to the sap of the world tree.
“Mmmn… Asura?” Spica began to wipe her eyes with a little squeak. Her dreamy gaze focused on his as the sunlight began to set after she woke up.
“Good morning, sleeping beauty. How do you feel?”
She began to smack her lips together, licking them before revealing a beaming smile to him. “I can taste something sweet, like honey and fruits.”
The taste of Asura’s blood was so delicious that she worried her inclination might change. Spica began to worry if there were still vampires in this world that might try to drain him dry.
Maybe one day, she would meet Verena and the Drakkur family and become guarded.
“Really, do you like the taste of my lips that much? Haha.” Asura chuckled before turning his body toward her, lifting her chin gently with the tips of his fingers.
“Hmm?!” Spica gasped as their eyes met. Asura’s kiss became more forceful as they entangled their tongues. He didn’t know why, but when she confessed her feelings to him, it changed everything. At first, she was just a girl he liked to tease and help for the sake of Celine, but with time, he became attached to the half-elf. He cared deeply about what happened to Spica, especially now when she was in his arms and chose him.
“Nnm…. Mnnm… Hmm…” Their kissing continued until Spica patted Asura’s shoulders. Her lips were running out of breath, and she struggled to pull her head away from the demon that possessed her.
A sticky silver thread lingered between their lips. Asura grinned as his fingertips caressed Spica’s warm, rosy cheeks. “Feeling tired?”
“Ahem, ahem. Of course not! Why would I get exhausted by that?”
“Haha… you are really beautiful, Spica.”
“Mmm~ so you’ve said many times now… shouldn’t we return to the palace and meet the princess and your other lovers?”
“Hmm? There is no rush, plus we have something else to take care of, don’t we?”
“What do we need to take care of?”

“Kissing?” Asura kissed Spica’s soft white neck while stroking her thigh with one hand. His other hand was playing with her braided and silky hair that felt pleasant to hold. She smelled like flowers, a mix with hints of lavender and chamomile flowers, almost making him want to fall asleep in her soft embrace.
However… before they could continue their affectionate moment. The sound of orcs grunting and complaining entered their ears since the orcs were staying in the detached palace close to them.
“Those damn elves! They lied to us!” An angry voice sounded with a roar, followed by something smashing against the wall and a female cry of pain. Though Asura knew it was an orc female he didn’t care, since Spica was in his arms now.
‘Hmmm, the rumours about their prince wanting my lovely Celine were true.’
It seemed those bastards wanted to marry the elven princess to become a temporary ally. Then use the fact Celine became their card to play and invade the city with their superior might. But they could never have guessed someone like Asura existed, who broke the curse on the princess and also impregnated her on their first night.
‘Well, they probably wanted to bring up the issue of a successor as Elves were famous for being hard to conceive, while orcs were the opposite.’
“My prince, please calm down! We cannot cause trouble here. The king will be in trouble!” A male orc tried to calm the prince with a more elegant and human-like tone.
It was apparent they wanted to leave the city without incident after hearing the truth of their youngest princess being already betrothed. Celine, carrying the offspring of another man, seemed to hurt the prince’s pride.
“Do you not understand if those bastard brothers of mine learn she is to wed another man! A human, then my route to the throne is lost forever!” The prince exclaimed, rage in every word. “How did our Seer not foresee this?! This whole thing makes me look like a fool!”
“Calm down! Please, sire…”
“I am trying, but these filthy tree-hugging weaklings make me so pissed! They should just submit and bow before us, spreading their legs like good little sluts!”
“Well, my prince… why not take her by force? I am sure that a mere human cannot compare to your magnificence!”
When the aide spoke those words, Spica felt her body tremble. She felt a sense of danger and death from the man who sat beside her. A fear, the fear a mortal would sense towards the unknown or darkness… the gentle aura around him filled with life suddenly became twisted…
It became an aura of dark, lifeless dread.
“Wait here,” Asura spoke with a voice lacking all emotion and the vibrance from before. His silver hair began to turn black, like before, and his eyes also returned to their crimson hue. The next moment, beautiful black wings of pure energy formed from his back, fluttering in the air before he dived towards the orc Prince’s tower.

Meanwhile, in the room where the prince was speaking to his aide, the orc maid lay on the floor with a bloody cheek. They didn’t understand the mistake they made a moment ago.
“Oh, that’s a good plan. One thrust, and she’ll forget about that man for sure! Ahahaha!”
*BOOM!*
Suddenly, the prince flew against the wall with a massive force. His nose and several ribs cracked, while the wall behind him exploded with a shower of broken debris, destroying his room.
“Argh…”
He looked toward the window and saw a devil in his eyes—a handsome figure stood in the centre of the room, looking down at them with cold red eyes.
“W-Who… are you?!” Terror, that thing wasn’t human or living. It wasn’t mortal. The aide and prince could tell instantly, staggering to their feet. Yet the devil just looked at the orc prince with a cold face.
“You’re small. How can you brag about size with that thing?”
“Eh?” The prince seemed confused before he realised his current state. His naked body was full of fat rolls and muscle, but the so-called ‘huge’ weapon he carried was decent. However, it was nothing special compared to someone with the blood of a devil and a dragon.
‘Well, it’s a little bigger than the human Asura who never awakened his bloodlines…’
“Who are you?! Why did you attack our prince?”
The aide spoke, stepping forward while his entire body felt ice cold and trembled. He could never face the existence before him, dreading their luck.
“I am Celine’s husband and the one who will wipe your tribe off this continent.'”
His words sent the prince into a panic.
“EHH?! YOU WERE ACTUALLY THE ONE TO DEFILE MY BRIDE! WHAT IS YOUR NAME? I SHALL NOT FORGET IT!”
“My name? Ah… it’s nothing. Let me introduce myself.”
The next moment, the sky became black, with the pitter-patter of rain starting to pour down from the skies; the small droplets were red, like blood.
“Call me Asura, the Abyssal Monarch. My other name is Devouring Monarch. I am the Profane Phoenix who leads the 70th Legion of Devas.”
It was like the world ended for the orcs. Asura no longer felt the need to hide his identity—after all, his enemy was Seere, the 65th Lord. An existence with strength far beyond Asura right now. No, thanks to Seere, Asura stepped into the divine realm early; now, he only needed to amass power to win.
“Y-Y-Your Highness… an Abyssal Monarch… the one who rules this space?!” The prince learned from his father about the elves and their secret past. He wanted to ally for this reason: to avoid the wrath of the previous Abyssal lord. Yet now it seemed there was a new lord who replaced the dark elf… And it was none other than this man!
“This is your only warning. If any harm comes to my wife or any woman under my protection… That includes the ENTIRE elven race, whether half-elf or dark elf.”
Asura spoke with an unchanging expression. Yet, the others were unable to see as the light from outside vanished, with pitch black swallowing his breath as the blood rain continued to hammer the ground. “I will destroy every last orc on this continent and use your bodies as meat for the fire.”
The prince and aide became terrified, both falling to their knees, begging. Even the servants around the prince who saw his display turned pale white as the thought of angering him further filled their minds.
In their legends, the devil who ruled the darkness had left his abode long ago for some strange reason. Then replaced by an elven woman who went mad. This allowed the orcs to settle into the Dark Forest and grow stronger over the past several hundred years.
Now… they realised it was over.
They kicked an iron bucket full of lead.
