Chapter 504: The Building Storm
“Hey! Did you see the divine blessing last night?”
“Oh? That golden swirling light?”
“It’s the mercy of the Goddess!”
Along the port of Wolfsheim, the people were in an uproar about a miracle. The night before, the entire city became enveloped in a golden light.
The light was warm, and people claimed their old injuries and wounds rapidly healed while standing inside the light.
Many people claimed to have seen a white tree so tall it descended from the heavens.
“They saw a white tree?”
Meanwhile, in the fortress atop the black clifftops, Lorem sat with Helliana, drinking tea and reading about the current tactics for the war.
“Lorem, do you think our beloved did something?”
“There’s no doubt, that fool… you’ve seen the silver tree etched into his flesh.”
The pair looked at each other with sharp eyes before sighing.
“The soldiers in the medical tent seem to have all made a full recovery overnight.” Lorem brushed her hair, tying it back into a ponytail while huffing from her nose.
“It was Asura, I am sure of it.” Helliana couldn’t deny her thoughts and spoke out with a slightly tired tone.
Despite their words and tones sounding upset or angry, their true feelings were mixed.
Although many soldiers were about to die or suffer damage in the war, they knew that to heal these wounds would take a great sacrifice.
“Asura… who did he sleep with last night?” Lorem’s scarlet hair shimmered as the morning light peeked through the dull windows above.
“Xavida, I believe?”
“I wonder if he did this on purpose.”
“She is the only one who sleeps all night after satisfying her sexual desire…” Helliana bit her lower lip while narrowing her eyes.
She felt upset with Asura but also in awe of his abilities and the sacrifices he always made for other people.
‘He’s an idiot…’
“Well, either way it cannot be taken back. Lorem, we can only comfort him when he returns…” Helliana’s golden eyes shimmered while she closed her eyes slowly and sighed.
The women loved him the longest, treated him dearly and wanted him to be happy. Yet, he always seemed to take a hard path that would cause him to suffer.
Thus causing them to become frustrated.
Knock—!
“Excuse me, ladies. It’s Anna.”
‘Hmm, I guess it’s time to prepare things.’ Lorem thought to herself while looking at the maid who entered with braided brown hair and glasses.
“Anne, are you here to replace our tea, or is there other business?” Helliana’s elegant voice echoed as she placed her teacup on the saucer.
“My Lady, Helliana! I am here to notify you of His Highnesses summons!”
“O-of course, Dame Lorem, too.” Anne looked embarrassed as she started to clean the used cups and half-empty display for the cakes.

“Understood, where do we need to meet him?”
“I believe he will be in the main drawing room, right Anne?” Helliana asked with a gentle smile while handing her cup to the lovely maid.
“Ah! Yes, His Highness requested you to meet him in the main drawing room, as soon as possible.”
Helliana and Lorem looked at each other with bitter smiles before nodding as they stood from their chairs and patted Anne’s head.
Because she was younger than most other maids, the women treated her like a cute rabbit.
It was lovely how she trembled and spoke with a high-pitched voice when speaking to knights like Danos and Manfried.
“Thanks for the hard work, Anne. Make sure you take a break when you can, your brother is working hard too right?”
“Ah, be a good girl and don’t overwork!”
Helliana and Lorem left the room with the door slamming, unable to see Anne’s grateful smile and tearful eyes as she bowed to their backs.
“Thank you very much.”

Meanwhile, as the rumours about the divine tree and golden light spread through the city, many of the officials and knights who recovered felt a sense of purpose.
They were at death’s door and suddenly felt a voice and warmth enveloping them, telling them it wasn’t their time to leave and offering gratitude for their sacrifice.
The morale of the Silvaran army seemed to have skyrocketed.
Inside the enormous office of Asura, which felt more like a meeting room. He sat looking from his desk. He looked towards the distant table with a sigh.
From one side of the room to the other, it felt like ten metres at least, with the huge black table made of a special type of wood.
‘It seems I overdid it a little…’
Asura thought to himself while adjusting his plans and various documents.
Even though he only intended to heal the most wounded, the moment he pushed all of his divine power to the limit. It suddenly ballooned out of his control and spread throughout the city, from wounded knights to injured citizens and people with arthritis.
All became healed by his divine light.
‘Will it grow into a big issue? I should try to control this power in the future…’
‘I don’t want people chasing me for this kind of thing.’
He didn’t desire to become a saint or someone who served people every moment of his life. The only reason he did this was to increase the chances of his plan to win.
Clack—!
The double doors of his office opened, and two women gazed at him with narrow eyes, their atmosphere feeling aggressive.
“You need to explain yourself, dearest Asura.”
“Why did you over do things again, Sura?”
Instantly, Lorem and Helliana stepped inside without waiting for his answer, and with loud steps, their heels tapping loudly, the pair stood at his desk, banging with both palms.
Thud—!
“Hello to you both, too.” Asura’s eyes closed slightly as his lips lifted into a grin. “You both look ravishing in those dresses.”
He wasn’t lying; the green dress that Lorem wore carried a fresh and vibrant feeling, her plump chest almost spilling from the top due to its shoulders-less style.
At the same time, Helliana wore a lovely white dress with lilies imprinted along the seams and a frilly underside.
“Don’t try to change the focus!” Lorem spoke with a loud voice, but her cheeks were bright red as her eyes looked to the side.
“I am honoured our beloved Prince finds these dresses acceptable.” Helliana always liked to get polite and formal when she was angry at him, yet somehow he didn’t mind.
‘I know why they are mad…’
Asura leaned back in his chair with a slight creak while putting his hands together and gazing at the two women with a bitter smile. “Forgive me, my beloved phoenixes.”
“But–”
“I didn’t plan to go that far, but the moment I started to gather my new divine energy, it suddenly exploded, and I lost control… It was my fault, I will not deny it.” Asura interrupted Lorem, his hand pushed towards her.
His tone became firmer, and he spoke in a deep and commanding tone.
“However, I won’t say that I regret it either… right now, we need every hand we can get to win.”
“Eh…”
“Sura…”
The two women didn’t speak back for a moment. They felt a sense of shock because neither could deny his words nor the plan he might have for the future. Instead, it felt rather comforting that he spoke so honestly to them.
‘That’s right, I shouldn’t hide things from my beloved women but share what they need to know.’
“I can see the concern and deep affection you hold for me with one look!” He stood from his seat before teleporting in a silver mist and standing between them. He wrapped both arms around the two women, pulling them close.
“I would be an idiot to hide things or lie to you both. I am honoured you care and adore me so much, even after my actions…”
“Asura… this…” Lorem was completely stunned; her eyes opened wide, and her mouth opened and closed as she blushed, unable to deal with his sudden affectionate actions.
Meanwhile, Helliana grasped his hand and kissed it gently. “Are you sure, is your body alright… thought I am still angry, you are the most important to me.”
“I am fine—there will be a great battle in two days. I intend to take the battle to the enemy as their fleets seem to have diverted to the west against Verena.”
“Eh, but can Drakkur managed their current forces alone? Verana already came to us for help!”
Helliana was correct, but Asura didn’t answer because their conversation became interrupted by another knock at the door.
Knock—! Knock—!
“Your Highness, we, your knights have arrived!” Danos spoke with a loud and deep voice. Asura’s lips curled into a smile the moment he heard his voice.
“Come in—you came at the right time, my knights,” Asura shouted toward the doors while softly kissing Lorem’s cheek and Helliana’s neck.
‘My preparations are complete,’ Asura thought with a serious expression on his face while letting go of both women. He then whispered to them in a low voice while stroking their hips before turning towards the large table and taking his seat.
“Forgive me, I will tell you more later my two dear lovers.”
“Oh?! Sorry for interrupting you, Lady Helliana, Dame Lorem!” Danos notices the two women before he stumbles, and the other six knights follow him.
“My Ladies.” Each knight bowed quickly in greeting but also noticed how their faces glowed red like an apple.
“What is going on here?” Danos, confused and curious, whispered in a low tone to Manfried beside him.
“It seems that His Highness wants to tell us all something…”
Suddenly, after everyone sat down, Alexander closed the door and took his seat while the knights and two ladies were confused.
“You all seem to be confused about why I asked you to gather, here.”
Asura gazed at the expectant knights and two women. He then showed a brilliant smile, even showing his pearly whites.
“I plan to ask you all to support me in two days, we will storm the beaches of Ulvar.”
“What?!”
