Chapter 505: A War Plan
Atop a large, black table inlaid with a golden tree engraving, there were numerous pieces representing ships and locations of Silvara. Several documents and parchments sat in front of the knights and Asura’s two lovers.
These documents documented the plan that Asura would use to take the Ulvar keep.
“Asura, this cannot be your plan!” Lorem’s eyes opened wide, rapidly becoming bloodshot as she slammed the heavy table with both palms. “Don’t be stupid!”
“Lorem… calm down!” Helliana tried to calm the raging phoenix down with a soft voice.
However, when she reached out to hold her shoulders, Lorem’s scarlet hair began to burn with searing flames. “Don’t stop me, Helia! This idiot always does things like this.”
Danos and the other knights didn’t speak at first. Instead, they read through the plans and the various conditions.
“Your Highness! Will you truly only strike the coast with a small force? Then send the rest to support Drakkur…” Manfried, who reached the end of the second page, looked concerned, his eyes focused on the new King.
‘It seems they are quite concerned.’
‘But this must be done, otherwise they will swarm us…’
“There is no choice but to take the fight to them. The moment we take that city, and make the walls our, everything will change.”
“Even if they are undead, if they lose their port, how can they keep attacking?” Asura gazed around the room—he saw Lorem, who Helliana was holding back.
But he refused to back down!
“Once we take that fortress, then their attacks will become focused on that city. Not Wolfsheim or Drakkur!”
“You are being reckless again, Asura!” Lorem shouted, her eyes flickered with flames as she pushed Helliana away.
“Don’t challenge me on this Lorem. The plan is already in motion!”
‘Lorem, I know you are angry for my sake. Because you love me and care, that’s why I am bringing you with me… can’t you understand that?’
Asura felt frustrated—he wanted Lorem and Helia to understand him and believe his plans. But he realised they couldn’t…
‘However, I will not give up on this…’
“I will challenge you!” A fierce buffet of flames spread from her body, causing the knights to back off as she leapt towards Asura, grabbing him by the collar and lifting him.
“You are my fiance and I carry your child. Don’t you dare try to act like a hero!”
‘Ah… you truly are a wonderful woman. You are my pride and joy.’
He couldn’t become angry or feel mad at her. Asura understood she was right, but the right thing wouldn’t save Silvara or bring them victory.
“Danos, if we continue to fight head on as we are now… how long till we lose?”
Asura felt her warmth, the heat from her searing hands wrapped around his neck. Despite this, Lorem didn’t choke him.
He pushed his hands out to stop the knights from taking action, a slight smirk on his lips.
Yet his eyes never stopped gazing at the beautiful woman holding him and the glistening tears that evaporated before dripping down her cheeks.
“Be honest, Danos.”
“Y-Yes Your Highness!” Danos stood while almost dropping the documents.
Although he was sharp during battle, the aura emitted from the King and Lorem exceeded him by several stages.
“I believe that we could manage to hold them off for a month, before supplies and human resources become strained.” His voice was clear, and with each word, Lorem’s eyes became more emotional, the searing flames exhausted by her beautiful blue teardrops.

‘You know…’
Asura understood she didn’t get angry due to his actions, but rather the frustration. Lorem knew more than anyone that they needed a breakthrough.
‘Don’t blame yourself…’ He extended his hand and cushioned her warm, squishy cheek.
The gaze of worry and affection she gave him, as her lips trembled, made him feel a sense of regret.
‘I should have been more considerate…’
Helliana and Lorem suffered the most when it came to him and their long history.
This plan might have reminded her of the time she left the planet and allowed him and Helia to die without a chance to escape the fate of death.
Danos continued to explain his thoughts, but for Lorem, who stared at Asura and watched her beautiful gem-like eyes,
It was merely background noise.
“Lorem, if you are worried I will stray off the path and sacrifice myself, can you not come with me and keep me on the right one?” A soft voice, different from when he spoke to his knights or when asking her to accept fate.
“A-Asura… But I…” Lorem’s hands loosened from his neck, and now she stroked the faint bruises and finger marks.
Helliana watched while lifting her lips with a soft smile.
She slowly closed her eyes and nodded. “Ah, Lorem cannot beat Asura…” She whispered while letting out a relieved sigh.
“Lorem, it’s our loss. We cannot stop him, at least he asked us to go with him.” Helliana’s smile became larger as she tapped the stunned phoenix on her shoulder. “Can’t you forgive him this once?”
“There is nothing to forgive…” Lorem’s eyes changed from soft to her usual sharp gaze, filled with determination. “I will follow you, no matter where you go. Never forget that if you die… I will follow you.”
‘Ah…’
‘These two wonderful women are like the blazing sun and calm moonlight, both of you always guiding me.’
Asura understood this was a threat, which forced him to change his plans slightly.
There could be no sacrifice. Asura needed to clear this challenge and take the city without putting himself in danger.
Although this made things difficult, he shook his head and gazed at the red and black phoenix looking at him with their all-knowing eyes.
“I swear, not to put myself at unneeded risk. Is this enough for you both to accept my plan?”
‘To think that for these two women I am more important when compared to the entire kingdom.’
“Danos, Manfried, Alexander and Vergil. I want you to take this plan and, with your knights, choose five hundred soldiers and two hundred knights from the reinforcements. Make sure to prepare them for the attack in five days!”
“Yes, Your Highness!”
“Understood!”
“Louis and Belial! Will you take a large number of troops that remain and leave the defence to my father’s knights who arrive in the next few days.”
“My Liege, where should we attack?”
“Please, Aid Drakkur and keep Admiral Verena alive.”
The words made Asura feel awkward because of his changes. He started thinking about the past. Why did he stand here at this moment and remember the sins that Verena and Shang Luo committed against him?
‘Yet… when did I stop caring about revenge?’
‘Now my reason for living is to protect my loved ones… and Verena has become included in that.’
All the knights preparing to leave became shocked by the sudden change on their King’s face. He gazed at the sun shining through the window, his lips curled into a huge smile, showing his teeth as he began to chuckle to himself.
“Ah… that’s right. Add a new order to those orders. Knights, I forbid any of you to die!”
It was strange, for the depressive atmosphere of the damaged fortress that held their moods down, the moment the knights and two women saw Asura’s growing laughter. They couldn’t shake the thought that the echo of his delight seemed to banish their negative thoughts.
“Yes, Your Highness!” The knights saluted, followed by a deep bow, before leaving the room.

A few minutes passed as Lorem and Helia both gazed at Asura with worry and confusion, wondering if his mind had finally broken down.
He turned to gaze at them with a warm and charming smile.
Then he spoke with a deep voice, causing their hearts to race. “Haha… I feel so grateful to have you both beside me. I love you both, more than anything.”
“Come here!”
His voice, like a welcoming call, made their legs tremble as they rushed into his open arms, hugging him tight.
Two of the most mature and oldest women who waited for him for thousands of years lost everything and regained it over and over.
‘Without each one of them, would I be standing in this place right now?’
Asura thought to himself while stroking the luscious raven and scarlet hair that wrapped around his hands.
“I don’t want to see you girls crying—forgive me for being too inconsiderate.
“You fool!”
“Haha… stupid, how could we ever stay mad at you?”
Lorem’s deep and passionate voice entwined with Helia’s calm and affectionate tone as their soft, plump lips kissed both his cheeks.
“We have loved you for millennia and will continue to love you until the end, stupid.”
“You are the reason I breathe…” Lorem paused for a moment before she touched her abdomen and shook her head. “No, that’s wrong forgive me. Now I live for our future.”
“You two, are far too good for me.”
‘Should I speak my mind… even though it’s a death flag?’
Asura wanted to speak his mind, to finish something that he kept delaying because he never felt worthy of the women who dedicated themselves to him.
His hands stroked their silky hair, caressing the two women who sat on either of his thighs, hugging him tightly.
A pair of goddesses that no other man could touch.
‘I cannot hold back…’
He pulled on the shoulder of both phoenixes and looked at their dazzling eyes, one golden like the morning sunlight, while another burned bright like the setting sun.
They gazed back at him with a sense of curiosity.
“After we take that fortress… let’s get married.”
