Chapter 43: Dimension of Spirits
Max didn’t head directly to the shop for the spirits. Instead, he first approached a stall full of masks. However, due to the chaos, the stall was overturned, and masks were scattered everywhere.
He picked one up and inspected it, only to notice that it strangely had no holes for the eyes to see through. The mask was completely white in color.
“I don’t need eyes when I’m in Three Dimensional Body mode,” Max muttered as he put the mask on. Darkness swallowed his vision, but it was quickly replaced by a much clearer view of everything happening around him.
With the mask on, he didn’t waste any time and made his way toward the shop.
As he walked, he ignored all the monsters that came his way. His priority was to ensure he saved Mimi’s friends.
Some time later, Max stood before the shop, surrounded by monsters roaming the market.
He took note of his targets and approached them. No one questioned what he was doing or what he wanted. Most people were either engaged in battles with the monsters or running for their lives.
‘Could the spirits be stored inside my body?’ Max wondered, reaching for the sphere containing the fire spirit.
Almost instantly, a notification appeared before him.
[Max Voidwalker has come in contact with the spirits.]
[Conditions met.]
[Congratulations to Max Voidwalker for unlocking the Dimension of Spirits.]
Seeing the three notifications, Max smiled slightly as new memories about the Dimension of Spirits flooded his mind.
‘I see… So this Dimension of Spirits can be used to store spirits and even help them grow,’ Max mused, understanding the full potential of the Dimension of Spirits.
Turning to the two spirits, he touched both the fire spirit and the frost spirit, bringing them both inside the Dimension of Spirits.
“Now that it’s done, I can start killing these monsters,” Max muttered, glancing at Mimi, who was patiently waiting for him. “But on second thought, let the others handle it. This dungeon is only an F-rank dungeon, anyway.”

Mimi looked around for Max, wondering when her Big Brother would arrive.
“I’m here, Mimi,” Max said, patting her head as he appeared before her.
“You brought my friends?” Mimi asked, her face lighting up with a wide, delighted smile.
Max nodded. “They’re with me. But I can’t take them out for now since there are bad people everywhere.”
“Mimi understands. I will wait some more,” Mimi said.
Max nodded and glanced around at the chaos.
It was then that he noticed a huge minotaur wielding a sword, fighting a group of people. The group was barely dealing any damage to it.
Max sighed when he saw their situation. “Mimi, could you wait for a few more minutes? Big Brother wants to kill those bad monsters.”
Mimi thought for a moment. “Then Mimi will come with Big Brother,” she said, and vanished before Max.
‘She’s gone or…’ Max closed his eyes and saw that she had appeared in his Dimension of Spirits, where she began playing with her friends. ‘Is she also a spirit?’ He wondered. Her powers and abilities made him believe she couldn’t possibly be human.
“Big Brother, go kill the bad monsters. Mimi will play with Mimi’s friends.”
Just then, Mimi’s voice rang in Max’s ears.
“Alright, Mimi,” Max said before dashing toward the Minotaur.

The group of people fighting the Minotaur was barely holding their ground. Every sword strike from the beast sent them flying, while others were continuously struck and thrown as they fought the Minotaur again and again, leading to a losing battle.
Jane Market was one of the few small markets scattered across Crestford City, with most people’s strengths ranging from level 5 to level 8. It was rare to see anyone at level 9, and level 10 had almost become extinct in Jane Market.
Those with higher strengths would prefer to shop at larger markets and would not be interested in a place full of stalls and small shops.
As a result, the market lacked many high-ranking fighters. Only a few people with decent strength would come to this small market to shop.
Because of this, the Minotaur, a boss-ranked monster at level 10, could easily reign over these people.
When the minotaur sent the group flying away once again, Max appeared before the group and shouted, “Get away. I’ll handle it.”
Just as he did, the Minotaur swung his sword down at Max.
“Hey, kid! Watch out!” one of the people shouted, noticing that Max’s strength was only at level 5.
Max smiled behind the mask and activated the power of four Draconic Essences.
A wild aura emanated from his body as untamed strength coursed through him.
At that moment, the Minotaur’s sword came crashing down.
The people who had been fighting the Minotaur turned their eyes away from Max, not wanting to witness the gruesome scene of his body being torn apart by the sword.
“Chak!”
The sword landed, but there was no blood or bones, no carnage taking many by surprise.
Only some of them saw what actually happened.
As the massive sword was about to strike, Max calmly extended his hand, effortlessly catching the blade. The ground beneath him cracked under the immense force of the blow, but Max remained still, composed, his expression unbothered.
It was as if he were holding an ordinary weapon, not the enormous, heavy blade of the raging Minotaur that had just attacked him.
“How about this?” Max said, his voice calm yet carrying a dangerous edge. Channeling the power of five Draconic Essences, he tightened his grip on the massive sword.
Shatter!
To everyone’s shock, the enormous blade disintegrated into countless shards, scattering like fragments of a broken mirror. The sound of the sword’s destruction echoed through the area, leaving the onlookers frozen in disbelief.
The Minotaur stared blankly at his hand, his sword gone before his eyes, then his gaze blazed with fury. He turned his attention to Max and punched down with both his fists.
Max blocked the two fists with his left arm before delivering a powerful fist of his own.
Bang!
The Minotaur was sent flying, like a broken kite, but it wasn’t dead—not yet.
Using the unmatched speed of Level 100 Swift Dash, Max vanished in a blur and reappeared high above the Minotaur, who was still hurtling backward through the air.
His fist glowed with the raw might of six Draconic Essences, and with a roar of power, he slammed it down with earth-shattering force.
BANG!
The impact was devastating. The Minotaur was obliterated into the ground, leaving a massive crater in its wake. Blood and shattered bones splattered in every direction, painting the battlefield with the remnants of its once-mighty form.
The sheer power left the air vibrating, and the onlookers stood stunned in silence. They couldn’t believe that a level 5 kid could possess such strength.
“Who is this kid? He has such strength!”
“He’s very mysterious. Look at the mask he’s wearing; how could he see anything without holes in it?”
“I’m even wondering if he’s a kid. Only those in the Apprentice Rank would have such strength.”
“I think he is a kid. Didn’t you hear his voice when he shouted at us?”
“If he is indeed a kid, then he’s one hell of a genius. Killing a level 10 monster this easily at level 5 is not something anyone can do.”
Max overheard their comments and looked at them. “Are you all fine?” he asked.
“We’re fine, kid,” one of the people said, exchanging glances with the others. He continued, “Kid, since you saved us, we won’t let you leave empty-handed. Ask for anything, and we’ll give it to you for free.”
Max contemplated for a moment, and an idea surfaced in his mind. “I have a deal I’m sure you guys will like it.”
