Divine Emperor of Death - Chapter 4345
Chapter 4345: Far Off To The West?
Shirley’s mind froze.
It had been a long time since she had seen or heard about Dewzai.
In fact, she felt regretful since she didn’t have a chance to say goodbye after the Candidacy was forcefully terminated. However, they were ultimately from different worlds. She didn’t think they would meet or mingle again.
Therefore, she didn’t bother to torture herself and look into what happened to her. She knew inheritors were being chased and arrested all over the realms, so she figured Dewzai should either be arrested or have escaped. She knew she was strong and could handle herself, so she wasn’t worried or it was better said that they were also scrambling for survival in the initial days, so she had no time to care.
Besides, the resources granted to Dewzai at the end of the Candidacy should also allow her to enter the Empyrean Stage as long as she obtained the manual.
Shirley had thought Dewzai would’ve entered the Empyrean Stage already. However, she seemed to be still in the Immortal Emperor Stage. Now, out of all the outcomes she expected, she appeared to have entered this shard world secretly.
This information caused Shirley’s heart to tremble vigorously.
Instantly, she had the idea of dropping all matters to go and find Dewzai.
“Phew…”
However, she exhaled a breath, took a step back, and calmed herself down.
‘Right now, remaining with my sisters is important in these uncharted lands… wherever Dewzai is… she can take care of herself… If I meet her, then I can have her join our group like before…’
Shirley inwardly convinced herself and smiled.
“Have you seen the Divergent who uses heavenly lightning and heavenly flames?”
But before she could ask her next question, Isabella opened her mouth.
“Hmm.” Kennent raised his brows. He saw Shirley become like a cub in front of this woman, so he figured she should also be strong.
“Yeah, I’ve seen her.”
Taking a deep breath, he sighed in a defeated manner, “Back in the west of the town, nearly two shard regions away, there’s a lightning sea without a land. There was a Divine Thundervine Tempest Gourd, a Peak-Level Empyrean Grade Lightning Law Treasure hanging from the terrifying lightning clouds. With over a hundred Kingly Sovereigns and tens of Empyreal Sovereigns targeting it, she managed to become the winner as she easily dashed through them all and obtained the heavenly resource. When she tried to leave, everyone attacked her but not a single one was able to stop her.”
“…” Isabella and Shirley’s heart shook.
The Divine Thundervine Tempest Gourd was a heavenly treasure that even Davis would want since it was said to be able to collect heavenly lightning and considerably more powerful lightning and refine it, although no one knew if it was the truth or not.
No one dared to collect heavenly lightning anyway. It just made the heavens angered, so people certainly used it to control many other lightning.
Kennent sighed again, “Anyone could tell she’s stronger by two levels than an Empyreal Sovereign. She was like the Divine Emperor of Death, the man who is recently infamous for being unkillable and able to battle peak Autarchs while still being an Immortal Emperor. However, that’s just a matter of using a treasure. I heard it had something to do with treasures that come from Greater Realms, where they aren’t restricted by the user’s own capabilities.”
“…”
“I see.” Isabella nodded, “Do you know where she is?”
“I don’t know. I think she was last spotted in the western region from the town, but like eight map points away. However, that was like a month ago, so I’m not sure if she would still be there. Why? Are you part of the hunting team for Divergents?”
Isabella blinked. She had an absentminded look on her face before she came out of her reverie.
“You certainly earned your life this time around. Next time, if you want some treasure but fail to obtain it due to being weak, then offer some alternatives like trade instead of threatening the other party. Then, you might succeed like the Celestial Descent Light Spirits did.”
“…”
Kenneth embarrassedly looked away and chuckled.
The method he used would work most of the time. Only this time around, he knew he had hit a wall. Besides, trade was not a good option. The other party might try to bankrupt him, so it was better to keep a hard and ruthless stance.
He wasn’t going to accept advice from women he just met.

“Uh… can I still come with you all to the spirit tribe?” He asked.
Isabella and Shirley looked at each other.
Shirley returned her gaze and nodded, “As long as you don’t harbor any ill will for them. If I find out that you are up to no good, then I will personally behead you.”
“Fairies. I’m not the one to say something and do something else.”
Kennent harrumphed, appearing offended, “Besides, the Celestial Descent Spirits are ranked first in the Light-Attributed Emperor Grade Elemental Charts, and in this kind of environment, their base prowess is like seven and eight levels higher. They would nearly be unbeatable in their establishments. We would be courting death to attack them unless we gathered hundreds of supreme geniuses. Besides, they might also have one or two Empyrean Spirit elders, so going right now could be a death trap too.”
“…”
Shirley pursed her lips. She had naturally considered it. However, since such beings hadn’t come for this so-called important resource that they would trade High-Level Empyrean Grade resources for, she didn’t think they existed.
Then again, spirits could also lie, so she wasn’t entirely sure that they would uphold their words. However, the Celestial Descent Light Spirits possessed a light aura that nearly felt sacred. It was like they were a part of the heavens, making her feel that they shouldn’t have a fickle character. They didn’t have any bad reputation for their race as well. This was also one of the reasons she chose this tribe instead of the Golden Jade Illumination Tribe.
“Well, if you’re scared, you can stay here then~”
She simply responded.
“…!” This caused Kennent to be pissed, “Ha! Who’s afraid? I was only warning you, fairies, since you all look so fragile.”
“…”
Isabella and Shirley cast a glance at each other.
Their first impression of him was: not-so-intelligent, powerful, and tried to act smart, thinking information is power but failing to be smart because he couldn’t connect said information. Although he had a huge ego, they felt he was most likely not a threat.
Some time later after Niera and the others plundered more treasures in these ruins, they finally left.
The Celestial Descent Light Spirits gracefully floated forward, leading Shirley and the others deeper into their territory. It appeared to be in the same region as the Starry Empyreal Ruins, and the Golden Jade Illumination Tribe seemed to be on the other side.
Shirley asked for the details while hovering with them.
Apparently, their three tribes lived here for a long time before the two of them joined forces to finish off the Starry Empyreal Fury Tribe that acted like a tyrant. Later on, they shared resources until the humans came, so they were forced to adapt and collect before everything could be plundered.
She could only dryly laugh as she guessed she was also at fault here.
Nonetheless, with their speed and the spirits using the least distance to traverse, they arrived in the settlement of the Celestial Descent Light Tribe in an hour.
