Earth's Greatest Magus - Chapter 2510
Chapter 2510: Spider Beast
“It’s you… that form!! Who are you!?” Kaelyn demanded, her piercing gaze locked onto Emery.
But there was no time for answers.
The godly spider, furious over the loss of its prey, unleashed a piercing screech that rattled the cavern walls. Its eight glowing eyes locked onto Emery, its monstrous body shifting as it prepared to strike. With blinding speed, it lunged forward, its jagged, scythe-like legs slicing through the air with lethal precision.
Emery reacted instantly, his body twisting to evade the deadly onslaught. At the same time, golden tendrils erupted from his hands—the enchanted [Elysian Roots] lashing out to ensnare the spider’s legs. They wrapped tightly, crackling with magical energy, trying to hold the beast in place.
But the godly spider was far stronger than he had anticipated.
With a violent jerk, the beast shattered the vines as if they were brittle twigs. Before Emery could conjure another defense, a bladed limb struck him square in the chest.
BAMMM!!
The sheer force of the impact sent him hurtling across the cavern, slamming into the jagged rock wall with an ear-splitting crash. A cloud of dust and shattered debris filled the air as he crumpled to the ground, half-buried beneath broken stone.
“Ugh… That hurt!” Emery groaned, pushing himself up from the rubble. His Twilight Form granted him heightened resilience, but the sharp sting of torn flesh burned across his torso. Dark ichor dripped from deep gashes where the spider’s leg had slashed him.
Yet, instead of fear, fire burned in his eyes.
As he surveyed the battlefield, he saw that the others were in a dangerous state, their bodies weakening from the effects of the poison. Realizing the urgency, he turned to Kaelyn, his voice firm. “Heal the others! I’ll hold this thing down!”
Without waiting for a reply, he launched himself forward, straight into the fray.
Kaelyn remained frozen for a moment, her breath hitching as she watched him move. But her thoughts were shattered by Ivaris’s desperate scream for help. Shaking off her shock, she rushed toward the fallen warriors, focusing on healing their wounds and purging the poison from their veins.
Meanwhile, Emery pressed on. The monstrous spider lashed out, its bladed limbs slicing through the air with terrifying speed. But he had no fear—his enhanced instincts allowed him to read its movements. He ducked under a vicious swipe, his body twisting as he drove his claws into the beast’s side. Yet the creature’s hardened carapace absorbed most of the impact, leaving only shallow wounds.
Tch… Too tough.
Normal attacks wouldn’t work—but Emery had another option.
With a flick of his wrist, his [Void Blade] materialized, the shadowy edge vibrating with deadly energy. He lunged forward, this time aiming for the narrow joints between the creature’s thick armor plating. The blade sliced through the vulnerable gaps, sending out a spray of black ichor as the monstrous spider let out a piercing screech of agony.
But pain only enraged the beast.
Letting out a furious, guttural hiss, the spider lunged forward—its massive body crashing down toward Emery like an avalanche. In an instant, Emery activated his [Spatial Bending] ability. The space around him warped, allowing him to blink a few meters away just as the colossal creature slammed into the ground where he had stood.
A cloud of dust and debris exploded from the impact.
Yet, the monster wasn’t easily fooled. Its intelligence was far greater than that of a mere beast. The instant Emery reappeared, the spider lashed out with one of its massive bladed legs, its attack so fast it was a blur. He barely had time to react before the powerful limb struck him square in the chest, sending him sprawling across the cavern floor.
“UURRGHH!!” Emery groaned as the impact cracked the stone beneath him.
Before he could recover, another leg came crashing down, pinning him to the ground. The weight was unbearable, pressing into his ribs like a collapsing mountain. The jagged edges of the beast’s limb dug into his flesh, black ichor mixing with his blood. He struggled against the force, his body screaming in protest.
Then— a sudden explosion.
KABOOMM!!!
Several vials shattered against the spider’s carapace, igniting in a chain of fiery detonations. The beast shrieked, its entire form engulfed in a scorching inferno.
Ivaris stood at the edge of the battlefield, panting heavily as the flames reflected in his wide eyes. He charged forward, using the momentum of the explosion to push the spider back.
A wave of cosmic energy surged through the cavern. More fighters had recovered and joined the battle—some focused on the young spiders, while others helped fight the massive beast. Among them was Kaelyn. Moving with the speed of a predator, she darted around the monster, her claws raking deep into its legs.
With feral grace, she climbed its massive body, her limbs wrapping tightly around its head.
The beast convulsed wildly, its massive form thrashing in an attempt to shake her off.

Now!
Emery forced himself up, ignoring the pain. He crouched low, muscles coiling like springs, then launched himself forward. His [Void Blade] glowed darkly in his grasp as he aimed for the weakened limbs.
One clean slash—one decisive strike.
His blade cut through the joints, severing two of the spider’s massive legs in a single motion. A horrifying screech filled the cavern, the monstrous entity staggering as its weight shifted uncontrollably.
The battle’s momentum shifted.
Ivaris, despite his injuries, hurled another alchemical vial. It shattered against the spider’s torso, erupting into flames. The remaining warriors, emboldened by the turn of the fight, unleashed a final barrage of magic and steel. Elemental forces clashed against the beast, scorching, slicing, and crushing its once-impenetrable defenses.
The cavern was a maelstrom of chaos—fire, magic, and the relentless clash of warriors against the godly monster.
And then—
With one final, bone-rattling shriek, the spider collapsed.
Its massive body twitched violently, the last remnants of its once-dominant strength fading into silence. Then, at last, it was still.
The battle was won.
