Goddess Damuda dragged Jayden along by pulling his arm, giving him no explanation or time to observe.

Before he knew it, Jayden had ended up inside a room, and several gazes were instantly locked onto him.

Only after they had entered the room did she finally let go of his arm, then she pushed Jayden forward and made him sit on one of the luxurious sofas, which seemed to be made of clouds, so it was extremely soft.

Jayden had no idea of his situation as he looked around in confusion.

And beside him stood a beautiful woman with long black hair and a voluptuous body; she looked like a more mature version of Damuda.

The wife of the Sun God, Aya, stared at Jayden with narrowed eyes, as if she was trying to find more about him.

There were several other people with strong builds and powerful auras standing behind the three of them, who also looked at Jayden with an intense gaze.

Uta, Aya, and Bunene, all three of them were looking at him with different expressions, but Jayden couldn’t understand the situation.

Damuda leaned down as her smooth hair drooped over to her good shoulder and she whispered close to his ear.

Her sweet scent brought Jayden’s attention to the beautiful Goddess.

“Just say yes to whatever they say, this is all you have to do for your promise.”

As she got closer to Jayden, Bunene’s face turned red in rage; he almost jumped forward to rip Jayden to pieces.

Although he couldn’t understand anything, Jayden just nodded; he had to help her after all.

“So you are the one?” Uta, the Sun God, spoke in a slow and imposing manner. Most men would have started to shiver under the strong pressure of his aura.

“… Yes.” Jayden spoke, as he looked at the people standing in front of him with an unsure gaze.

“How long have you known her?” Uta asked.

“Do you know who I am?” The Sun God asked.

“Yes.” Jayden answered, even though he had no idea.

“You know about Bunene too?” Another question arrived.

“Yes.” He nodded.

“Damuda is engaged to Bunene, you know about that too? And that they would be married very soon.” Uta asked.

“Yes, I do know about that too.” Jayden said, his face looking serious; he just needed to say yes.

“Despite all that, you still dared to love my daughter and even came here to ask for her hand in marriage. Are you prepared for the consequences?”

The Sun God spoke, his eyes almost spitting fire; he wasn’t happy with this type of development.

“Yes, I do… what?!” Jayden’s questioning gaze instantly drifted towards Damuda as he asked:

“We are in love? I am here to ask for your hand in marriage.”

“So you agree? I don’t think you qualify for my daughter. Do you really believe I will give my only daughter to just anyone?” The Sun God smashed his fist against the table in front of him, sending shivers across the large palace.

“Yes, my lord, for committing a crime as big as touching your daughter and my fiancée, you need to punish him severely, so that no one would ever think of even doing anything like that.”

Bunene finally spoke; if not for the Sun God, he might have already pounced forward.
