Chapter 830: Try to survive

Bunene prepared himself for the battle. He planned to go all out from the start and defeat Jayden within a heartbeat.

All three of the Gods would be impressed by his strength after that, and Jayden would be a stepping stone for him.

‘He touched my future wife. I’ll cut off his arms first.

Just sit and watch me, Damuda. I’ll kill your lover right in front of him,’ Bunene thought.

He even placed the armor and held his weapons.

“So, Burenor, are you ready?” Jayden asked.

“I am BUNENE. Let’s start. I’ll allow you to attack me once, do your worst.” Saying that, the young God passed a dazzling smile toward the Goddess of Dreams.

“You both can start,” Uta said and raised his right arm. Instantly, the space inside the house began to change.

Everything seemed to have disappeared, and only the sofa and people could be seen around, while the ground was made up of clouds.

The three Gods and their guards rose into the air and remained there so that they wouldn’t be a hindrance to their battle.

Finally, it was time for the fight.

“START!” Uta shouted.

Bunene didn’t make any moves and just stared at Jayden with a haughty gaze, ready to defend against any kind of attacks his opponent threw at him.

Jayden didn’t move immediately either. He looked at Bunene, then a smile appeared on his face.

“Try to survive.” Just as he spoke, Jayden disappeared completely.

“Where is he?!!” Bunene couldn’t see or sense him. He gripped his weapon tightly and gathered all the energy in his arms.

Suddenly, blood mist began to seep into the air.

Everything was covered in a layer of red. As Bunene breathed, he smelled blood in the air, and he could even taste it.

The blood mist had become so intense that the vigilant God couldn’t see anything around him. His body was soon enveloped by blood.

“Where are you?”

The atmosphere turned very eerie within a few seconds. Bunene couldn’t help but feel a shiver.

Soon he realized something- this was actually not real blood but the bloodlust of a single person.

This revelation brought dread to the God who stood at the center of the bloodlust. He couldn’t imagine how Jayden had such a deadly bloodlust.

Strange sounds began to ring out, like countless mindless creatures were growling at the same time.

Bunene madly swung the two swords around. He could feel his body getting slower; the blood mist was getting thicker with each passing moment.

Then, under his shocked gaze, the blood mist began to take strange shapes.

Within seconds, countless creatures of different shapes and sizes appeared all around Bunene.

Their flesh seemed rotten and as if it was melting, creating a grotesque scene. The smallest creature was only a few centimeters in height.

While the largest creature stood at a height of hundreds of meters, making the God look tiny.

Their faces were disfigured, and even their teeth looked dangerous. But this was just the beginning.

“FALL”

A single word sounded, and before Bunene could react, the clouds from below his feet disappeared completely. He began to fall at a very high speed.

Along with him, all the red creatures were falling.

“Aaaaaah! F- Fight me properly if you have the g- guts. Stop hiding,” Bunene screamed while trying to fly, but for some reason, he wasn’t able to do anything.

Strange sounds began to ring out. Just taking a glance at those eyes made Bunene feel as if his head had blown to pieces.

“Wha-?!! N- noooooooo!” Bunene screamed madly as he looked at his own reflection in one of the eyes.

His head was wide open, and he could see small insects crawling and eating away at his brain. The scene looked disgusting and frightening.

A heart-wrenching scream rang out. It came from the space below, which seemed endless just moments ago.

Bunene turned his head downward and was scared out of his wits as he saw a terrifying and large demon staring up at him with a creepy smile, its mouth wide open.

Ready to swallow his entire body.

All his armor and weapons were gone. He was only left in the thin fabric of his clothes.

The eyes of the large demon rolled freely as its skin began to tear up and countless small bugs crawled out of it.

With a loud sound, Bunene fell into the mouth of the demon. He couldn’t do anything, not even launch any kind of attack.

What was even more terrifying was the fact that he felt all his strength leaving his body. With each passing moment, Bunene felt himself getting weaker.

Countless teeth tore through his body as he got nailed inside the mouth.

While trying to get out of there, Bunene’s gaze landed on something high above.

‘Is that him?’

In the distance, he saw Jayden sitting on a throne. A strong blood aura surrounded his body.

He looked so large that Bunene could barely see Jayden’s face.

Jayden looked down at the fallen God with contempt in his eyes, as if looking at something insignificant.

Just the gaze alone left a hole in his heart. He felt devastated.

Bunene even forgot about all the pain for a moment as he felt that suppressing gaze falling onto him, crushing his everything.

Like a tiny bug looking at the biggest and most dangerous dragon, Bunene began to mutter strange things while begging for this all to end.

Jayden looked down at Bunene, who was going through all kinds of torture.

Despite hearing his screams and pleas for help, Jayden was in no hurry to stop. He was enjoying this and was absorbing the divine energy from this puny God.

“Hah, coming here was beneficial after all. Maybe I should attack this Sun God too. As long as I don’t kill him, Damuda won’t say anything, right?” Jayden wondered.

The Sun God was a lot stronger than Bunene and was probably somewhere around Zeus, so it wouldn’t be very easy to avoid killing him during the fight.

‘Well, that depends on how he acts after this Bunene guy is beaten,’ Jayden thought.

Uta, Aya, and Damuda were looking at the battle, but just as it started, everything got covered by thick blood mist, and they were no longer able to see anything.
