Jayden was observing the knife as the energy had shot out of it, and he finally understood what it could do.

Not only could it ignore his defenses, but it would be almost impossible to dodge it.

But he wasn’t worried.

Jayden knew teleporting away was pointless, and dodging it completely was impossible.

Electricity coursed around Jayden, and his body began to vibrate. The slash had appeared exactly in front of him in an instant.

Pushing the space in front of him, Jayden moved his body as fast as he could.

Even though the attack was very powerful, if it failed somehow, then Uta wouldn’t be able to use the same attack anytime soon.

Electric current danced around his body as the space cracked just by Jayden’s physical strength. Even as he was moving away, his gaze was fixed on the invisible attack.

It was over three meters in length and would have been more than enough to split a person in half. It contained strong destructive energy.

The attack was almost touching his skin, even leaving a big mark on his clothes as Jayden barely moved past the attack.

The blurry figure moved just in time as the large slash tore through the space and passed by there, before disappearing.

“You are strong,” Jayden mumbled as he saw a one to two centimeter cut that had appeared on the side of his arm.

A drop of purple colored blood dropped out of the wound before his arm healed once again.

There was a wide grin on Uta’s face even though his attack had failed. He didn’t make any more moves and just stared at Jayden as if waiting for something.

“You should take your son in law away before we start fighting, or I might accidentally kill him. You don’t want that, right?” Jayden spoke.

Killing a God isn’t an easy task. There exists exactly one method to actually kill a God, but Jayden was not going to search for that way just to kill someone as useless as Bunene.

What he meant by killing was turning him into something that could no longer be referred to as a God, even if his God status still remained.

And he only said this since killing a God would lead to too many problems. That’s also why he didn’t kill Apollo and just trapped him in that timeline.

“It doesn’t matter; there is no longer any need to fight. I have already won,” the Sun God spoke, as his smile widened.

“…” Jayden wondered what he meant by that, and during this time, he noticed the drop of blood that had fallen from his body slowly drifting away from his body until it arrived near Uta.

“I don’t think it was a contest of who gets the first hit, and I am still perfectly fine. The battle had just begun, so how come you have already won?” Jayden asked.

He didn’t attack either and was checking his body, wondering if his earlier attack contained some kind of poison or something, but even after searching a few times, he didn’t find anything.

Uta was buying some time as he used the drop of Jayden’s blood to finish the task that he originally planned. Even that powerful attack wasn’t meant to hurt Jayden, but he only needed that one drop of blood.

“Defeating you wasn’t my plan from the very start. The moment you had promised to help my daughter was the day when you had lost,” Uta added, his smile had widened so much that he was barely holding himself from laughing madly.

Aya and Damuda, who were seated above, looked at this scene with bright eyes. They had put up an act from the start to make sure that Jayden did not get their original intention.

The pair of mother and daughter held mischievous smiles on their faces; they had been planning for this moment for quite some time.

Jayden noticed the expressions of the three of them. He felt more confused about their intentions.

Even Anna didn’t know what they were planning. She knew Damuda from before, but even she couldn’t guess what this gorgeous goddess had in mind.

‘Why do I feel this was a trap from the start? And seeing how they don’t care about Bunene even though he is in such a bad shape shows that this fight and all that about son in law and marriage was just pure bullshit.

Then why did he attack me? Why did Damuda ask for help?’ Jayden’s head was filled with more and more doubts.

He was tempted to beat Uta to get his answer, but before he could make his move, the Sun God raised his right hand and snapped.

Instantly, the surroundings started to change. From an endless space, it started to resemble something like a colosseum.

But there weren’t seats around. Instead, countless screen like things had appeared all around them, and a person was present in every frame.

Jayden stared at the screens but couldn’t feel the presence of any person since they were nowhere near that place but were just looking at this place from somewhere far away.

It was kind of an online meeting where all these people were staring at Jayden. There were thousands of screens, and each screen held a unique person.

“T- They are all Gods. Just what is Uta planning? Does he plan to fight you in the presence of all these Gods?

He could have called them here, but he chose not to since you would have been able to sense their presence in that case, and if you did, then whatever his plan is wouldn’t have worked.”

Anna spoke in surprise, looking at all those Gods.

‘They are all Gods? There are so many? Maybe getting more divine energy won’t be a big problem—’ Jayden observed the screens, his eyes glowing, but he was interrupted by Anna.

“This is not the time for that. Uta probably plans to do something very big in the presence of all these Gods, and it might not be something you like, so maybe you should escape,” she advised.

Uta turned out to be more sly and calculative than Anna expected.

‘Ah, right. Now’s not the time for that. I have to beat Uta first.’ Jayden was ready to launch an attack when suddenly the Sun God raised both his arms and began to speak in a thundering voice that resounded all across the space:

“All eleven thousand one hundred ten Gods, be the witnesses of this holy event.”

Over the palms of his raised hands, two blood drops were floating. One was purple, and the other looked light red, a lot different compared to humans.

Jayden saw the drop of his blood and understood why Uta had attacked him earlier. It was only to obtain this drop of blood, but what he was planning to do with it was still a mystery.

‘I don’t think it would be a good idea to let him continue with this strange ritual.’ Thinking this, Jayden tried to teleport the purple drop of blood, but it was useless.

The Sun God had been preparing for this day for quite some time, so it wasn’t effective.

Before Jayden could try anything else, the two drops of blood moved towards one another and were instantly mixed, forming a strange color that couldn’t be recognized as the drop of blood glowed.

After they were mixed, the drop began to form some kind of letter in the air that Jayden couldn’t recognize.

The bright light emitting out of the unknown letter was blinding, so Jayden unconsciously closed his eyes for a moment, and when he opened his eyes, the letter was gone.

He could feel something now touching his forehead. The letter had appeared over his forehead before it was absorbed into his body.

Jayden was not able to do anything as the letter disappeared into his body. All the things were happening just too fast that he couldn’t understand anything.

Yet he didn’t launch any attacks towards Uta since he was not sensing any kind of malice from him. There was no killing intent or negative intention, which confused Jayden even further.

“I, Uta, the Sun God and the leader of the Samas cult, now under the presence of the entire pantheon, announce that for the eternity to come, Jayden Dracon has become the Soulmate, the Husband, the other half of the Goddess of Dreams, Damuda,” Uta announced in a loud voice.

Jayden turned his head towards Damuda just in time to see the same letter being absorbed into her forehead.

She had her eyes closed with a euphoric smile that displayed her sheer joy.

Out of nowhere, flowers began to shower over the entire place. All the Gods smiled and clapped while throwing flowers towards the newlywed couple.

Jayden stood there dumbfounded with his mouth open. He wanted to ask about a lot of things but didn’t know where to start or what exactly to ask.

The space around them started to change once again. Within seconds, the entire palace was decorated with all kinds of jewels, flowers, and many other things.

One by one, the screens began to disappear, and the Gods really began to appear there as they all smiled and threw flowers towards the couple.

In the background, a slow but sweet song began to play that was very relaxing and was sung by the Vocal God while the instrumental Gods helped him perform the masterpiece.
