Chapter 836: Conditions

Damuda had thought of a lot of things and had chosen this surprise for Jayden, so her mood would be ruined if he didn’t like it.

She waved her hand as the cloud was blown away; she was the one anticipating his reaction instead.

The content of the gift was revealed as the clouds flew away, and Jayden really was dumbfounded by it.

In front of him were over one hundred and one Gods who were all kneeling, their hands were tied, and they looked fearful.

Even the commentator was kneeling at the front of the group, the same God who was hiding all over the place from Jayden.

“What is all this?” Jayden asked as he gazed at the Gods in surprise.

Damuda smiled as she got the reaction from him as she wanted. After leaning towards him, she answered:

“Now they all belong to you. Use them as slaves if you wish, or torture them for eternity, or just absorb their energies. This is my gift for you.”

“…” Listening to her words, Jayden turned his gaze towards the kneeling Gods.

Some were weak, and some were strong, but if he absorbs the divine energies of them all, then the World Tree will definitely grow by a lot, and so will his strength.

“Yes, my husband, they are all yours,” Damuda said. Then, after a pause, she turned her gaze towards her father and spoke:

“Father, can you leave us here?”

Uta nodded, his expression was serious as he instantly began to walk out of there, closely followed by his wife, Aya.

“Wait, mother, I have something to talk to you,” Damuda interrupted her mother, who halted her steps and remained there.

After taking a glance back, Uta walked out of there. He still needed to meet a few Gods and accept their gifts.

When he was gone, Aya turned her gaze towards her daughter, wondering what she had to say.

Both Aya and her husband spoiled Damuda a lot. Since her birth, they have given in to all her demands, giving her whatever she wanted even if it could cause them problems.

Even when she told them that she was going to marry Jayden and needed some Gods as sacrifices, they didn’t hesitate and went ahead to capture some of the Gods who were in the neutral faction and had refrained from joining any groups.

All because they loved their adorable daughter so much they wouldn’t hesitate to go to any lengths just for her, even if her demand was outrageous or dangerous.

Aya smiled and wondered if her daughter wanted something else. She felt sad that her daughter was going to leave her soon, so she wanted to fulfill all her wishes.

Jayden waited for her to finish. He was already planning to accept her. After all, it wouldn’t be too bad to have a crazy one in the group, as long as he could control her.

“I wonder how others will react to this. Well, I am sure Damuda can convince them all,” Jayden thought. After all, he was already in this relationship.

“What did you want to talk about?” Aya asked, gazing at Damuda and Jayden.

“…” The gorgeous bride didn’t reply. Instead, she brought her face close to Jayden and whispered:

“As long as you accept with your whole heart, you can even use my mother however you wish, and you don’t have to worry since I can convince her and my father for it.

But you are not allowed to hurt her in any way. Other than that, you can do this and that with her, but you are not allowed to prioritize her over me,” Damuda spoke.

Jayden stared at her with a flabbergasted expression. This was unlike anything he could have expected, even though she had mentioned it before.

Aya wasn’t able to listen to their discussion. She stood silently and waited patiently while observing Jayden.

When Damuda had informed them about her choice, they had found quite a lot of things about Jayden, but he still seemed very mysterious.

“So what do you think? Those hundred Gods, my mother, and obviously your wife— which means me— you are getting all this in one fell swoop. So won’t you still accept it?” the Goddess asked.

“She is talking as if these are some kind of shopping materials. She is even doing this to her own mother, but why?” Jayden wondered.

When they had interacted before, he never noticed anything strange, so how did she develop such strong feelings towards him?

There was no way of knowing unless she told him herself about it all.

“Sigh, fine, I’ll accept you, but there are some conditions,” Jayden said.

“What are the conditions?” Damuda asked, her expression as serious as it could get.

“First of all, you won’t be allowed to harm any of my wives in any way—” While he was speaking, she interrupted him.

“I am your wife too.”

“My other wives,” Jayden added.

“Okay,” came the reply.

“Not just wives, but you are not allowed to hurt anyone in the family, you got it?” he asked again.

“Yes, I understand. Since they are important to you, I won’t mind having them around. But I’ll fight back if they attack me,” Damuda said.

Jayden ignored her words and spoke: “You will have to listen to me. What I mean is you can’t just do whatever you want all the time—in a serious situation, that is… well, mostly.”

“Fine, I’ll listen to you obediently. But when you give any order, you have to use a sweet, love-filled phrase with it.

I’ll do anything for you. Of course, I would be more than happy to receive some hugs and kisses instead of those phrases,” Damuda spoke in a solemn tone, showing that her words weren’t meant to be a joke.

Then she leaned toward him and wrapped her arms around his neck, locking Jayden in a tight and soft embrace, her fragrance lingering around her body.

“Well, that is all for now. Let’s get to know each other better first.” He nodded in response before turning his gaze towards the hundred Gods.

This was exactly what he wanted. Even though these Gods were nowhere near as strong as Zeus, Uta, or even Apollo and Bunene, with so many Gods here, he would be able to absorb a lot of divine energy.

Aya looked at the intimacy between her daughter and her son in law. Her face turned red as she turned away. Being a God who had lived for a very long time, she was someone who held a slightly older mentality.

So seeing those two hugging, she felt embarrassed, but she didn’t leave because of Damuda.

It wasn’t that she was embarrassed by the act of intimacy. Instead, it was because of the people who were doing it.

After a few seconds, Damuda ended the first-ever embrace that she had given to her husband.

There was a satisfied smile on her face. She loved this feeling and couldn’t wait to get more of him.

“Mother, can we have a talk?” the young Goddess asked with the same smile as she stood up and walked towards her mother.

Aya nodded as she finally turned her gaze back to her daughter. Then the two women walked a little away from Jayden.

Damuda needed to do quite a bit of acting to convince her mother to do something that she highly despised and would never even think of doing.

Jayden paid them little attention. After a few seconds, he was done observing every single God kneeling in front of him. All of them had different characteristics and different abilities.

But most of them were the Gods who possessed no ability related to fighting.

“Are you really sure about this? Are you really going to accept Damuda and this gift? What if she has something more planned? I don’t think it would be wise to just go ahead with all this.

The whole marriage was like a scam. Who knows what she might do in the future?” Anna strongly rejected the idea of Jayden accepting Damuda. The reason for this remained unknown.

“I know there are various kinds of dangers in this choice of mine, but I’ve already decided. Though it would be much more dangerous to just leave her be.” Jayden replied.
