Chapter 870: Imposter

The entire Genari race seemed to shiver as Jayden’s gaze landed on them, they were desperate and had planned to somehow form a connection with him either by helping the goblin planet or by destroying it but because of the sudden start of the tournament their plans had backfired.

Though after a moment he moved his eyes away from them, the place was still completely silent Emma was nowhere to be seen there. While looking over various platforms, his gaze met with Seraphina’s, goblin king’s, Caleb’s but just as he saw the vampire king Giure and his daughter Amelia, Anna’s sudden voice rang in his ear giving him a surprise.

“That’s the first daughter of the vampire king, Amelia, I am sure you have recognized her after all you have even drawn her images on the walls on Earth in a rather disrespectful way, anyway the person sitting beside her should be Giure Grando, the vampire king and even though he looks the same but that’s not the vampire king, it’s an imposter, as it is his younger brother.” Anna spoke, looking at the figure in the distance.

Jayden felt quite surprised, the imposter of the vampire king also looked back at Jayden though he quickly diverted his gaze while Amelia looked at him with an unreadable smile.

‘He is not the vampire king? Is he not going to attend the tournament? Wasn’t the coven leader his brother?’ Jayden asked, looking as calm as ever.

“This was strange from the start, after giving up his Life Blood Essence to you, he should still be resting after becoming too weak so his younger brothers had done all this behind his back. That’s why there are several theories for the creation of Coven. No wonder he was acting strange. And Amelia must have sided with her uncle that’s why no one doubted his identity, sigh yes, he is not going to participate since he is in no condition to do so yet.”

Anna finished her explanation, Jayden thought for a moment then he asked her a couple of questions and decided to think about it later.

‘Amelia… I guess time to settle scores.’ Jayden thought as his gaze moved further, but then his eyes met with the angel of death, Azrael.

The angel with black wing and a strange appearance was looking at him with a menacing gaze as if he had found the one enemy, he had been looking for all this time, Jayden didn’t pay him much attention as his gaze soon shifted to a platform not too far away from the angels, it was where the dragons were sitting.

He searched for a certain girl from his memory, there were several men sitting on the platform and at one corner two women sat with their bodies covered from head to toe it was impossible to see anything aside from their eyes, Jayden looked at the two women narrowing his eyes, wondering if she is here.

But before he could focus, the voice of one of the guardians rang out, they had been staring at Jayden all this time but he paid them no attention.

“Now that all of you had gathered here, let us introduce ourselves.” Finally, the attention shifted from Jayden to the six figures hovering not too far away from him, the six had calmed down unlike what Rudrix had imagined the six of them didn’t attack him or Emma despite his blatant disrespect.

“We are the sovereigns of this universe, the ones who control the natural laws of the world and have complete control over the lives of every single being, no one is above us and we are the ultimate ruler.”

The majestic voice made many trembles, it was an answer to all of their doubts making them understand that they are below no one, not even the group that had just arrived.

‘Even though we have his younger sister, but he seems unnaturally calm, from his past behavior I had expected him to charge here madly and destroy everything.’ Rudrix was feeling confused but he just remained standing beside the guardians without saying a word.

“This tournament will make many races prosper and the winners will get power beyond their imaginations.

There are too many races here, to be exact a total of 14,807 out of which, involving most of whom in this tournament will just spoil it. So, the first round of the tournament will just be to eliminate the unnecessary participants, the prizes will be revealed after the first round.”

One of the guardians explained, but it was impossible to know which out of the six was speaking, every single entity listened to this carefully many were quite afraid to even imagine the punishment if they lost.

“Of course, a tournament won’t be fun if it just ends with winning or losing, if there are no punishments and rewards then it would lose its meaning.

As mentioned before the rewards will be revealed after the first round as for the punishments… any race that ends up losing will have to sacrifice a quarter of their entire population and the resources of their planet will be reduced to less than half.”

Almost all the people hearing this announcement took a cold breath of air, killing a quarter of the populations that means billions and trillion of them would be killed and on top of that their planet would lose so many resources making life difficult for the ones who survive. But that was not the end as another guardian continued:

“If any race is caught cheating in any manner, not only their planet be destroyed but they would be thrown into the Black zone where every single person will receive deaths more gruesome than their wildest dreams.

Now, that’s all for the punishments, let’s directly start the first round where over hundred races would be placed in particular areas on the battlefield.

From each area only one race would become the winner and will proceed to the next round, from each race one can send at most ten people.

And many of you had formed alliances with other races, so let’s see who are the representative from each race.”

As the voice faded, the races which had formed alliances floated close to each other, but more than they were all shocked if only one race is going to be victorious among over a hundred race, then so many of them would die at just the first round, a chilly and melancholic atmosphere filled the area.

The representative from each race began to emit a different aura as their bodies glowed, they were standing out quite a lot from all the others ignoring the reactions of all of them, the guardians swept their gaze across them all.

Jayden looked around, he was going to represent the goblin race and the beast race, but just then a sweet and melodic voice rang in his head, he looked towards a platform present far away from him as his eyes met with Seraphina’s eyes, as she began to speak:

“Are you willing to represent the witch race?”
