Cruel scenes were playing all across the battleground; friends were killing each other, and many had to make sacrifices to let the strongest among them win.

Just like the werewolves, many others gave up their lives to protect their planets. After one hour had passed, out of forty-seven, forty-five of the participating races or alliances were done; only one person was standing in their region.

Instantly, all of them were teleported back to their seats.

Now only two races remained, who were neither brave enough to sacrifice their lives nor cruel enough to kill others from their race.

They hoped that they would be strong enough to defeat whatever creature came. One of them had formed an alliance, while the other was a single race. The atmosphere all over the place was melancholic and filled with grief; only a very few races seemed unaffected by this.

“It seems two of you have failed to finish the battle in an hour. Then, just as I had instructed, you would have to battle against a creature, and if you can manage to defeat it, then you’ll survive; otherwise, your races and alliances will lose,” the emotionless voice of the guardian sounded.

Everyone was looking at the scene curiously, wondering what kind of creature it was going to be. The people standing there were in the worst condition.

“Now, get ready. I don’t think you need time to rest. So let’s start the cleanup.” The guardian, sitting at the leftmost side, raised one of his hands, then under all the curious gazes, his hand from above his wrist was separated from his body, and it seemed to transform into a strange shape as it flew towards the battleground.

Everyone could feel the vast amount of energy suppressed in just this strange and blurry thing; it made them shiver. They couldn’t even imagine just how strong these guardians must be.

As it got closer to the battleground, its shape more and more resembled the shape of a golem, and within seconds it rose to a height of hundreds of meters. It seemed even bigger than the ones that Jayden fought against. It landed in the first region where only one race was present.

Soon its body was revealed; its body was made of nothing but pure energy, so it was glowing with a bright light.

Just being close to it had brought all ten of them to their knees; even the ruler of that race could not raise his head. Two eyes were visible over the head of the golem, which stared at the bugs-like people at its feet.

Under the eerie silence, the golem pointed one of its arms towards the ten people, and before they even had time to release screams, their bodies were pressed into the ground, and they had turned into meat paste.

All of them had died in an instant. The other alliance despaired at this scene; they began to beg for another chance and for mercy.

The entire place was completely silent as they looked at the glimpse of the power of the guardians. It was just too terrifying; they felt that even if all the remaining races were to attack them at the same time, they still might not succeed in defeating all of them at the same time.

After making sure that the ten people were dead, the golem turned its eyes towards the eight people in the distance. Since three races had formed an alliance, instead of ten, only eight could participate.

With a single leap, the golem was able to cover several kilometers, and with a loud thud, it landed in front of the people who were already on their knees. It didn’t matter to them how they must be looking in front of all these races; they just wanted to survive.

In the next moment, an explosive pressure descended upon the eight people, which instantly flattened their bodies, and in the next moment, they were all dead. All of the others could feel a chill.

“In this round, four races will be eliminated,” the guardian announced. Then everyone turned their gazes towards the four races and saw the horrifying scene of millions of people dying in an instant.

No matter the age or gender, a quarter of the total population was killed without any mercy; then they were sent back, and now only forty-five races or affiliations remained.

The golem rose into the air, but instead of returning to the guardian’s side, it just stopped mid-air above the battlefield and became motionless. In the next moment, the meat paste of all the people that had died disappeared.

“The second round is over; most of you have performed quite well, and I can already see some of you filling up our positions in the future.

You can relax; the next round isn’t going to be as intense; it will be a sort of relaxation round for you all,” the guardian spoke, but none of the people believed his words. They just remained silent and waited to get more information.

“In the third round, only one person will be allowed to participate from each one of the platforms, and this round is going to be so easy that you might pass it without even fighting at all.

This round will be like a game of tag. Out of forty-five, eleven of you will be in the red team, and within a period of two hours, you would have to pass your red team mark to any other person from the blue team, which you can do just by touching them.

After the two hours end, the ones who would be left in the blue team will pass; however, the red team would have to face that golem. Of course, if you can survive against it, then you are considered to have passed.”

The guardian paused to let them all think about his words, then he added: “Now select the person who is going to participate in this game of tag. The red team will be formed randomly.

The area in which the game is going to be conducted won’t be too big to make the game more fun, and teleportation and such abilities won’t work there.”

After hearing the info, all the people began to discuss various things among them. In this round, just sending the strongest won’t be the best choice; instead, someone with high agility.

“I guess I will be going alone once again,” Jayden spoke, looking at his wives and Anna. Although they all shared their worries, Jayden was undoubtedly the fastest and strongest among them, so the decision was made.

Since some people still needed to rest, the guardians gave them almost an hour to rest and discuss.

After the one hour had passed, the voice of the guardian once again rang: “The ones who will be entering this round, step out.”

Without saying anything, Jayden stood up.
