Chapter 892: Surrender

The last round of the tournament had ended in less than an hour. The whole battlefield lay stained in blood as more than a hundred corpses lay all over the places; only the gods had survived since it isn’t that easy to kill them, but every bit of energy was taken away from them, reducing their strength to the lowest levels.

Jayden stood amidst the chaotic place looking at his surroundings without any expression on his face. All his clones were standing surrounding him; some of them were injured during the fight, but none were destroyed despite killing the strongest beings across the entire universe.

With the slight flick of his finger, all the clones disappeared and the energy was absorbed back into his body. Taking in a deep breath, he disappeared from his spot and reappeared on his seat. He sat there with his head resting over his hand.

“T- They are all dead? Did he really just k- kill them all?” a person spoke in horror; almost all of the people were shivering in fear at this horrifying scene.

“So all the other races have been eliminated? D- Doesn’t that mean many of us are going to die? Not even the Gods were able to defeat him; just who is that person?” Everyone was panicking; they all had a feeling that the situation was going to become much worse going forward.

The guardians stared at the battlefield in complete silence. Gods were the only living beings currently left there; with this, Jayden had certainly done a lot more than they could have expected, but the display of his strength only made the six more excited to achieve their goal.

One of the guardians sitting at the rightmost corner waved his hand and all the bubbles and platforms disappeared, and now only Jayden and the people related to him remained there, like the dragon race. Even the goblins, the beast race, the vampires, and the witches disappeared.

“Now that I have become the champion of this tournament, when are you going to get out of here and give me all that you possess?” Jayden asked, his gaze landing on the six figures.

“The tournament was quite exciting, but its end didn’t go as we had expected. However, the end result is going to be all the same.” As the voice of one of the guardians sounded, they slowly stood onto their legs while their bodies still remained blurry.

“That was a splendid fight… for someone like you. We would have loved to keep you as our pet, just like this little coven king, but it’s too bad that you possess something that belongs to us,” another guardian spoke, though it was almost impossible to know the difference.

“So are you willing to give up the Dimensional Stone, or do you want us to force you to give it up?” The third guardian asked, though from his voice it seemed he liked the second option.

“Dimensional Stone? The black-colored stone with glowing white dots all over it, which is around this big and has a heart-like shape? Never seen anything like that, but I can create one for you if you want. I am not bragging, but my drawing is quite good,” Jayden spoke, shrugging his shoulder.

“Aren’t you quite the joker, but I don’t believe you are in any situation to joke, or did you forget about your little sister? Although I wouldn’t want to kill such a little thing, as it turns out, it isn’t in her fate to live a long life—ah, you can blame my friend here for that.

He has control over the fates of all the beings in this universe, even over your miserable life,” another guardian spoke, his tone sounding sarcastic. Then, with a wave of his hand, a silhouette of a person appeared and soon it turned into Emma.

She was floating in front of the guardians and was still unconscious. There wasn’t any injury on her body, but a strange energy filled her body which seemed extremely destructive, as if with just an order from the guardians she would burst apart.

Jayden’s expression became solemn as he saw her. An endless rage filled him as a strong killing intent surged from his body directed towards the guardians.

His fists were clenched, but no matter how much he wanted to go ahead and kill her, he couldn’t do anything with Emma being a hostage. He could tell that before he could even blink, the guardians had the ability to kill her.

“That is the expression I was expecting from you. Oh right, I just found that she is a member of the Blake family. Isn’t that such a nice coincidence, Anna? I didn’t expect that someone from your family was still alive.

It feels like it was just yesterday when your family was running all across the Devdraean, hoping that you would come to save them, but your weakness resulted in their death. Anna’s body was trembling and her eyes had turned blood red. She suddenly stood up and rushed towards the guardians, but a hand firmly held her arm and held her back.

She looked at Jayden with an expression filled with rage and sadness. Jayden gently touched her cheek and whispered in a soft tone, “Everything will be fine; just leave them to me.”

Gritting her teeth, she nodded. Despite her rage, she knew she was no match for the guardians, even more so since she was weak right now. She stood close to Jayden and stared at the guardians with a death glare.

“Anyway, if you wish to save this youngest member of the Blake family and your younger sister, then maybe we will spare her.

And depending on our mood, we might give the rest of your family an easier death. Looks like you are expecting a new member in the family; you wouldn’t want your child to die before it was even born, right?” The voice of the guardian sounded ruthless. The six of them wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to kill anyone for their purpose.

Jayden’s frown deepened. He was having trouble holding himself back from rushing forward and tearing them apart, but Emma was still there along with Sydney, who sat on the platform along with the other woman, though the rest of the dragons had disappeared.

“I am sure the first thing you do after getting the Dimensional Stone is to get rid of my family. If I made the stone explode, even you would not be able to get away with it, even if it kills us all,” Jayden spoke, his voice filled with anger.

“…” The six guardians narrowed their eyes. They had expected this kind of outcome too; if Jayden really did such a thing, then the entire universe would be destroyed. Not even they would be able to survive something like that, even if they tried to leave.

“Anna, do it.” Suddenly one of the guardians spoke.

Anna’s body trembled as a blood-red dagger appeared in her hand. In the next moment, she thrust the dagger into Jayden’s abdomen.
