“I think there has been a misunderstanding.”

The guardians turned their gazes towards Jayden as they heard his calm and chilly voice, which was in stark contrast to his current situation and condition.

As soon as his words sounded, all of the women around him stood still with all expressions disappearing from their faces; they just stared into the empty air without even blinking their eyes.

With his hands still covering his face, Jayden once again began to speak: “I believe you have forgotten one crucial detail in all your planning and games. Did you forget the reason why you wanted to obtain the Dimensional Stone?”

The guardians frowned. Of course, they had made plans about fighting the person who is in possession of the Dimensional Stone, but harnessing the full power of the stone is a task that even the six of them couldn’t do, even if they did it together, so they made their preparations accordingly.

The guardians glanced at the women standing around Jayden, feeling that something was wrong with them, but they couldn’t actually point it out.

While the guardians were pondering about the sudden changes, Jayden continued:

“Did you really believe I would bring my family anywhere near harm? Did you think you could just kill someone I have decided to protect or make me hurt the woman I love? Does the single brain cell that the six of you share among you have the capability to force me into doing anything? DID YOU THINK YOU COULD HARM MY CHILD?!!”

The frowns on the faces of the six guardians deepened the more they listened. They desperately wanted to believe he was bluffing, but a strange sensation had started to creep into their hearts that made the six guardians’ bodies stiff.

The six of them suddenly stood up from their thrones as they felt a strong tremor under their feet; it made their bodies tremble and shattered their thrones to pieces.

The space trembled and cracked as Jayden began to clench his fist. They couldn’t move as a boundless darkness surrounded them before they were swallowed completely by the void.

For what seemed like an eternity, the guardians only felt an infinite amount of pain and silence that seemed to crawl and gnaw at their souls.

All of them coughed and felt pain in their chests while breathing slightly faster. The six guardians once again found themselves in the same space. They looked around and saw Jayden sitting in the same position with his wives standing beside him.

Emma unconsciously floated near the guardians, while Sydney and the other woman stood together, with fear in their eyes.

“…” the guardians turned their gazes towards Jayden. They knew that he had used the power of the Dimensional Stone, but it was nothing more than a fright from Jayden.

“Don’t pretend. You killed Anna with your hands; even with that stone, you can’t bring her back since her soul is destroyed, and we have seen that happen. You can’t control that power; it will destroy you before you even get the chance to kill us.” One of the guardians shouted, throwing away the slight fear he felt in their heart.

“And don’t forget about the dragon princess, your mother, and your sister, Emma. She is still here with us; I can kill her with just a thought.” Another guardian threatened. He clenched his fist, and the energy inside Emma’s body became restless, almost making it seem like her body was on the verge of exploding.

“Are you sure about that?” Jayden finally raised his head and placed his hands on the armrest of the throne.

A drop of blood flowed from his left eye, sliding down his pale cheek. Seeing it, the guardians became even more confident. Just using a little energy from the Dimensional Stone seemed to have harmed him, so there is no way he could use it to the full extent even if he killed himself in the process.

“Hahaha. Act all you want, there is nothing you can do anymore. I was planning to show you some mercy earlier by killing you before your family, but now you are going to witness the gruesome death of each and every member of your family.” The confidence finally returned to their voices.

An energy leaked from their bodies that connected with the chains wrapped around Sydney and Jayden’s mother’s bodies.

The chains tightened and emitted a destructive energy, making it appear as if the two women were about to explode. Yet, they remained completely still without any emotions on their faces that still remained hidden under the black cloth, just like Jayden’s wives.

Despite the bad feeling in their hearts, the guardians knew the whole situation was in their grasp. They held ways to blackmail and kill Jayden, so even if he possessed the Dimensional Stone, there isn’t anything he could do to the six of them.

“Why don’t you try harming them? I am waiting.” Jayden said, wiping the blood off with the back of his hand, his gaze focusing on them dangerously.

“…” the guardians frowned.

They glanced at Jayden, then looked at Emma. Without saying anything further, they released a strong energy, bringing the energy in her body to its limits.

Emma’s body trembled. It seemed the energy inside her body was about to explode. Seeing this, the guardians showed ferocious expressions, but suddenly her body crackled and twisted. It enlarged and no longer looked like a little girl. In place of Emma, a red fiend had appeared.

Raising its head, the Rakshasa looked at the guardians without any expression on its face, yet emitting a strong aura.

“What?!!” The guardians and the coven leader truly seemed shocked.

They stared at the red creature and couldn’t understand what had just happened.

“There is just no way that it was this red fiend in place of that girl here all this time and you didn’t even have the time to replace her.

Not to mention, all of us had sensed the piece of Dimensional Stone in her body. What did you do?” one of the guardians asked, his voice filled with confusion and rage.

“Oh, the piece of Dimensional Stone?” Jayden stood up.

With a finger, he hooked it over the cloth around his neck and pulled it slightly, revealing a long cut extending from the left side of his chest to the centre from which the purple blood and a strong world energy continued to leak.
