Chapter 898: Fake Reality
The guardians stood opposite to Jayden with a large distance between them, looking at the knife that had taken them quite a long time to create, they couldn’t help but frown, it was broken and slowly disappearing after the explosion.

Jayden repeated in his head the information he got from Anna quite some time ago, it was quite a powerful lineup and they made up for each other’s weakness and were almost invincible when fighting together.

The first guardian, the timekeeper spoke though it was almost impossible to distinguish between them just based on their appearances.

“If your connection with the universe wasn’t almost on the verge of collapse you might have been able to sense it all, but that’s just the result of your going against the universe again and again.

As for your question, I used the world energy and the world tree as you might have guessed to create them, the perfect clone that wasn’t almost real but not at the same time.

So everything that happened from the start of that tournament was happening in reality but was being turned into a different reality or rather a fake reality so most of the people that I have killed didn’t really die, the things that happened just got swapped with that different reality at the same time it was happening.

Well forget it, all this must be quite a lot to understand for your small brains, let’s not waste any time further but remember the death you are going to experience will be by far the most gruesome, brutal and painful than any person I have killed so far.”

Jayden said, and guardians couldn’t help but remember some of the parts of Jayden’s life they have seen recently, he certainly inflicts the worst type of pain on most he kills.

‘It feels quite strange to not able to talk to Anna at any time with just my thoughts but to not let these guardians track them I had to cut the connection, in any case I hope we can meet again.’

Jayden sighed in his mind, despite the brave front he too was quite worried about this fight even if he wins the consequences of using the dimensional stone without proper control and strength and also killing the guardians would be quite severe, he might never see his family again.

Jayden closed his eyes and took a deep breath, the whole place remained silent in the next instant a violent aura burst out of his body just as he opened his eyes, he disappeared from the place he stood just a moment ago.

The guardians’ body was once again covered by that blur making it impossible to see them, they too disappeared from there as terrifying energy surrounded them, an explosion rang out as Jayden clashed with the fifth guardian.

Their fists collided both of them had only used their physical strength, Jayden’s arm slightly shook but the Nexus had to take a few steps back to stabilize himself, yet the expression of the guardians only became more savage.

The timekeeper clapped both his hands together as tendrils of energy flowed out of his body and seemed to distort the space itself, the time paused inside that large white room; a distorted smile appeared on timekeeper face as he clutched one of his fingers and bent it backward at an unnatural angle.

Jayden frowned but had no time to pause as the attacks from the other guardians came rolling down towards him, the Weaver waved his hands and then pointed both his palms towards Jayden, tiny bubbles seeped out of his palms moving out of his charred black skin, at first glance the bubble looked slow and harmless.

Yet as the bubbles collided with one another, they broke and devoured the other bubbles until only a single bubble remained then it disappeared from its place and appeared in front of Jayden.

“Kikikiki Defend against this.” The Nexus spoke, as his body had broken apart and transformed into countless butterflies that appeared near Jayden in an instant.

All the guardians were attacking him rapidly not giving Jayden any time to even think about their attacks, despite the condition of their bodies the strength they held was still terrifying, even through their weaker connection with the universe.
