Chapter 900: Time-Wraiths
The hands held Jayden tightly as the fingers dug deeper into Jayden’s body sending layer after layers of eroding smoke flowing into his body, a groan came out of his body as he felt an even greater pain.

The guardians watched with solemn expressions, hoping that it would be enough to disrupt Jayden and backfire this deadly attack, from the distorted space from behind Jayden along with the countless hands screams suddenly began to ring out sounding like the cries of infants.

Then dozens of head shot out of the crack that seemed to be pulling them back as if they were some kind of cursed spirits, the heads were covered by the same black smoke, they moved closer to Jayden while the hands held him tightly, the dozen mouth began to gnaw at his flesh, their sharp teeth easily tearing through his skin, and devouring his flesh.

While the eroding smoke began to affect Jayden, his body was consumed by an unexplainable amount of pain, the smoke was not only burning his blood and organs but also eating away at his energy and making it a lethal poison that was slowly killing Jayden.

The timekeeper grinned seeing the sacrifice he just made to let these twisted time wraiths devour Jayden’s body, these wraiths were extremely mysterious and had existed in this world since the beginning of the time even he himself never interacted with them much.

This was only the second time he was seeing them after almost losing his life to them few years ago despite being the guardian.

But with his strength he could only attract the weakest time wraiths, these creatures were too dangerous to exist, they could easily devour the time and void itself and they had already made countless universes disappear.

‘The Time wraiths are one of the species at the top of the Galactic masters ranking, I know it’s a bad idea to attract them towards us but right now taking care of Jayden is more important after we get the dimensional stone we would be able to get away then even if the time wraiths sends someone to this universe we would be long gone and there would be no universe here.’

The timekeeper thought, feeling fear by just the name of the time wraiths and these were just one of the species of creatures that existed in the outside world, he couldn’t even imagine what kind of other species could make it up to the Galactic Masters ranking.

This universe is barely qualified to even participate in low ranks but since the whole universe is sealed off from the other universes so they never had to take part in it and that’s also why no other universe had attacked them in such a long time.

Jayden endured the pain, his entire body was shaking not only because of the pain but the smoke that was emitted out of those strange hands, even Jayden was surprised to find how much it was hurting him despite his natural defenses and the protection of the world energy.

But his expression only grew more savage as he got closer to his goal, he didn’t care even as the time wraiths hungrily tore his flesh and devoured it, he saw the bigger black hole appear right in front of him, he moved his hands with great difficulty, and pushed the swirling black holes towards the bigger one.

Unlike what the Energizer had hoped, Jayden used it to force the two swirling black holes closer and closer until threads extended and slowly the two black holes began to merge, the large black hole acted as a covering for them it strangely appeared over them and the two merging black holes appeared at its centre using the force from the large black hole to merge even faster.

“…” The Energizer who was looking at Jayden with a mocking smile just moments ago froze, he felt the piercing gazes of the others on himself and could only turn to look to the side scratching his cheek, but the pressure had suddenly increased exponentially.

The snake that was coiled around the guardians began to shiver then its gigantic body swelled and under the overwhelming pressure it burst apart as the raw force now struck the guardians making their expression ugly and pushing them back further since now there were three black holes.

For a moment silence swallowed the entire space as the two small black holes merged at the centre of the larger one, a blinding light engulfed everything as an enormous amount of energy and pressure poured out, Jayden took advantage of it to push the time wraiths behind him away and break the special crack and he was finally free of those creatures.

The resultant black hole was slightly bigger than the both of them but its energy seemed far greater, it pulsed like an heart as the bigger one began to shrank it size until it held the pulsing black hole inside it tightly.

Without waiting for a second, Jayden’s body disappeared and flashed in front of the disoriented guardians who hurriedly used their abilities to form various kinds of defensive layers around them.

“Enjoy this!!”

Jayden said as he pushed the swelling and shrinking black hole forward, before disappearing from there; his body moved away from the guardians as fast as possible but the guardians were unable to move since all the suction force was concentrated towards them and Jayden had formed a spatial barrier around them that would need some time to break.

“Use all your energy to defend, even Jayden will be affected by this attack if we can come out unscathed then killing him will be much easier.”

The Chronicler shouted, despite knowing that it was an impossible task. All the guardians agreed and formed barriers around them using as much energy as possible, as they dreadfully observed the black hole that was on the verge of explosion.

As it seemed so powerful that it could easily destroy more than a quarter of the universe, just the energy used to create that attack was too large.

Jayden flew back trying to create as much distance as possible before that thing explodes, all the injuries he had received from those strange creatures that Jayden knew nothing about began to heal albeit very slowly, he focused and expelled the corrosive black smoke out of his body, he was quite curious about those creatures but had no time to think about them at the moment.

He had taken help from the dimensional stone to use so much energy while creating and merging those black holes, Jayden looked down and saw his hands were covered by a layer of blood red energy that was the consequences of using the dimensional stone to such an extent he stopped the shaking of his hands and focused on the group of guardians who were doing their best to deploy one defense after another.

‘It turned out even stronger than I had expected, with this I hope at least one of the guardian is killed or paralyzed without any ability to fight back.’ Jayden thought.
