Once Noah left, Zayden turned to look at his cousin and questioned, “Do you want him to pummel you to the ground? Why don’t you announce to the world that you want to sleep with the wife of Noah Nelson?”

Zayden knew that his cousin was impulsive, but he never knew that his impulsive actions had no bottom line. It was good enough that Noah had held back just now when he punched Nicolai, most probably he did it because he was worried about the consequences.

Noah does not want the two families to be at war. Not at present but Nicolai!

He just had to provoke that man!

“What?” Nicolai widened his eyes with an innocent expression on his face. “I just did not want that man’s blood on my hands, in case he finds out that I slept with his ex-wife and ends up fainting because of high blood pressure, everyone would blame me. I was doing a good deed, dude!”

“Nico, have I ever told you? Your confidence sometimes bamboozles me,” stated Zayden with an exasperated expression on his face. “You don’t even have the number of that woman and yet, you are already dreaming of sleeping with her?”

“Who says so? I do have her number!” Nicolai retorted with a fierce expression.

“Did she give it to you, or you just force-fed her mobile, your number?” Zayden questioned back causing Nicolai to turn silent. He had indeed snatched and added his number to Ariana’s phone, but that did not matter. His number was on her phone, the cause, and effect did not matter!

Zena rubbed her forehead. She could feel that in the following days, Lonest City was going to be in turmoil. She glanced at Nicolai and said, “You need to clear your stance with Penny. I don’t know what and why you are with Miss Ariana, but I believe that it’s better for you to at least steer clear from Penny until you are done with Miss Harlow.”

“I have always been steered clear of that woman!” Nicolai snapped. In fact, he had to steer clear of every woman because!!!

He glared at his crotch with a newborn hatred. Now Nico The Great only saluted the beauty of Ariana Harlow. Even if he were to think of another woman, he couldn’t get it up. So what was the point?

“Boss, Miss Ashford is here,” Jon who received a call from Kelly relayed the information to Noah.

“Then what do you want me to do?” Nicolai spread his hands in front of him and then clasped them together before saying exasperatedly, “Do you want me to worship her? Like, thank you for blessing me with your f*cking annoying presence? Send her away!”

“I got it!” Jon obliged as he relayed the orders to Kelly who had already heard Nicolai’s annoyed words.

“I heard it loud and clear, Jon,” Kelly said to the man as she turned to the woman in front of her.

With her dirty blonde hair and green eyes, Penny looked the epitome of beauty. Not to mention, she was dressed in a beautiful white dress that was adorned with real pearls and diamonds. She looked like a princess, and she would have looked even better if not for the fact that Penny was looking at Kelly as if the woman in front of her washed herself with dung.

Her nose was scrunched up as she stated, “What are you doing? Did Mister De Luca not tell you to send me upstairs at once? I am the sister of his best friend, Keon!”

“I am afraid that Mister De Luca is busy today, Miss Ashford,” Kelly couldn’t almost keep the smile on her face. So what if you are the sister of Mister Ashford? Our leader cannot be bothered about a fake, two-faced bitch like you, thought Kelly.

Even though she was cursing Penny in her heart, she maintained a professional smile as she continued, “Mister De Luca asked you to come back on some other day. Preferably after taking an appointment, that way you did not have to make a useless trip.”

Penny felt as if she had been humiliated. She wanted to make a fuss, but she dared not to. Nicolai was unlike any man she had gotten entangled with, he was the kind of man who would definitely not stay silent if she were to throw a tantrum in his office.

However, the more he acted like this, the more Penny wanted to make that man kneel in front of her. The thought of Nicolai giving her all the love and attention, along with a wedding ring, made Penny’s heart swell with pride and excitement.

“I see, I might have disturbed him by my unannounced visit,” even though Penny was furious, she still smiled and acted polite. She was the top socialite and the heiress of the Ashford family, she couldn’t bear to throw a tantrum around. If her eldest brother found out, she would undoubtedly be in trouble. “I will make sure to schedule an appointment the next time.”

After she was done speaking, she turned around and walked out of the lobby.
