Chapter 229: To Hell
[Noah doesn’t like almond milk, he likes thin cream milk. The coffee needs to be brewed only for one minute and thirty seconds, as he likes the coffee slightly bitter but not too bitter.]
[Add two cubes and a half teaspoon of sugar to his coffee. He says that he likes two cubes, but he needs his coffee on a bit sweeter side but not too sweet.]
[Noah also likes his steak well done; however, he doesn’t like it too chewy. So stop cooking the steak just a minute and a half before it is well done.]
[He doesn’t like too much salt in his food, and there shouldn’t be any salt in his scrambled eggs. He likes them runny and enjoys the taste of the eggs and tomatoes.]
Noah….
Noah … Noah….
Noah … Noah … Noah….
Noah turned the pages of the diary one by one. However, every page only held his name and his likes and dislikes. He continued reading for the sake of finding out anything that would prove that Ariana was just faking it all.
But as he reached the end of the diary, Noah did not find even a single complaint filed against him. Until the end, Ariana was meticulously looking after him.
“There has to be something,” Noah muttered as he closed the diary. His proud self did not wish to believe that he lost someone who truly loved him and that he made a mistake in judging her.
He turned his head to the remaining boxes as he pulled the contents of those boxes one by one and threw them on the floor.
However, the more Noah dug deeper in the boxes the more it started to hurt.
“Master Noah, what are you doing?” Harrison, who had received reports of Noah striding inside the master bedroom and throwing the maids out, rushed inside the room and found the entire room scattered.
He looked left and right before stepping over the things that were scattered all over the floor before coming to a stop behind Noah as he said, “Master Noah, did you lose something?”
Harrison thought that the reason Noah was turning the room upside down was that he lost something as the man had never shown any interest in Ariana, Harrison had not once thought that Noah was searching Ariana’s belongings for no reason.
“No. I didn’t lose anything,” Noah answered as he finished turning the last box. There were only a few clothes and jewellery that he had bought and gifted Ariana inside the box.
She did not take anything with her.
However, even in this box, there were a few boxes that held brooches that were to Noah’s liking. Even Ariel, who loved him and, had known him for more than ten years didn’t know his taste to perfection like Ariana.
Noah held a red velvet box that held a golden brooch lying inside of it on a purple cushion. The golden brooch was exquisitely designed and decorated with diamonds and rubies, it looked pretty and was not bigger than one’s pink.
Yet, it held such a charisma that Noah sucked in a breath.
“Who bought this?” Noah asked, still denying the truth that was in front of him.
Harrison looked at the brooch and then answered dutifully, “It was Miss Harlow. She gave a custom order for this brooch after tweaking the original design a little. She asked me to make the brooch small and pay more attention to the design.”
“You are lying!” Noah screamed as he threw the box at Harrison, who caught it immediately. This brooch was even pricier than the house where he lived, if it broke, then he would be slaving away in this mad house for ten or so years.
“I am not lying, Master Nelson,” Harrison placed the box of the brooch on the side, where it was safe from Noah’s clutches. “It was indeed Miss Harlow who ordered this for you.”
“Then what about the mufflers and watches?”
“They were also ordered by Miss Harlow,” Harrison answered with a light furrow of his brows. “Do you not know of this master Noah?”
He didn’t. No, in fact, he did in a way, there were many times when Ariana asked him to take a look at the gifts that she brought for him, but he never paid attention to them, as he believed that Ariana could never get him anything of his liking.
The reality was surely stinging hot on his cheeks.
Noah stared at the mess that he made in the master bedroom before running his hand through his hair. Why… did Ariana have so many traces left behind yet at the same time there were none?
“Clean this all up. I will be leaving,” Noah walked past Harrison as he handed down his order.

“Sure thing, Master Noah,” Harrison said to Noah with a smile on his lips. However, as the man walked out of the room, the smile on the butler’s face dropped as he mimicked, “Clean this all up. Humph, what do you think we were doing just now? Playing patty cakes?’
He looked at the mess scattered all over the floor and groaned.
“Miss Ariana, you should have bought an electric baton instead of all this garbage. Maybe that thing would have made a bigger impact.”
Noah, who deserved a beating from an electric baton according to his butler, was currently walking down the stairs that winded down to the living hall.
“Noah!” Mrs Nelson, who had returned from the tea party, rushed over to where her son was. “Noah, where are you going? There is something that I need to discuss with you.”
“To hell,” Noah replied in a calm voice as he walked past Mrs Nelson. At first, the woman did not understand what Noah said but as the words slowly sank into her head, Mrs Nelson’s face turned red with anger.
“Noah! Come back here,” she said to her son, who did not even look at her as he marched out of the house. Her eyes kept staring at Noah’s back, however, not once did Noah turn around. Seeing how heartlessly he left, Mrs Nelson looked upset.
Her eyes fell on the small envelope that she was holding, and a fierce look flashed in her eyes.
