Chapter 331: Nico meets Mrs Harlow (2)
*************************************************************
So Pallas refused to accept that anything happened between the two of them last night.
Sur-fucking -prise? No. Not at all.
In fact, he was sort of waiting for Ariana to drop the ball as she had done it many times before. After all, what could he expect from a control freak like her?
Given that she was a witch who could turn him impotent for everyone but her alone— would it be surprising that she had a potion that kept her emotions and actions in control?
Bet she took it with her smoothie every morning. Probably the one with kale which would explain why Ariana spoke nothing but bitter words.
She drinks that morbid green drink every morning that could have been nothing but the devil’s worst punishment for humans. Who drinks that shit?
Dear lord, couldn’t you have given him a better, much sweeter woman? Was it all the sweets and desserts that he ate? Was this why Nico the Great chose Ariana?
“She is so fucking annoying,” Nicolai groaned in his hands. He thought that after last night he would get somewhere, but instead, that woman seemed to have retreated even further into her shell.
Now the only option was to —
“Rip and shred,” Nicolai muttered. He was going to rip and shred the control of that woman until she was begging him to take her to the highest plane of pleasure.
Because this could no longer go on anymore. Nico The Great would end up rotting at this rate.
Ariana wasn’t fond of him anyway, so what difference would it make if she were to hate him even more?
Anyway back to the track, he was going to send that bastard named Whatever Lice to his maker.
Ariana had no idea, but Cole had some serious issues with Aiden. One that once led to Aiden nearly cutting that man’s hands off while Cole had a dagger pressed against Aiden’s neck.
Of course, he wouldn’t expose his cousin’s dirty secrets to get the woman he wanted to sleep with in his bed. That was Aiden’s shit to take care of, but that bastard Verlice— Nicolai was willing to bet that man had something planned for Ariana.
Fortunately, he stepped right in time.
But that was not what was important, the important thing was that he could see that Ariana was uncomfortable in Cole’s presence.
Something that she was not when she was with him in fact, she was quite alright with him as she spoke her mind in front of him.
So what was the reason for her desire to stay away from him?
Of course, it could be her pride. But Nicolai had a feeling that it was more than just a pathological denial. Bad news, he had no idea what it was. Good news, he was not going to leave her until he found out the truth.
If Ariana was not interested in him, then he was going to chop Nico the Great off.
Which was why, it was important for that woman to be fucking invested in him because he was not chopping anything off until she was crying his name.
Nicolai stiffened when he felt a small bulge in his pants and he groaned.
Seriously. Nico The Great, thinking of getting Ariana into bed wasn’t going to help you.
Should he get her drunk again? No. If he dared to sleep with her when she was drunk, forget about him, his mother would cut his thing off with her own hands.
“I am lost,” Nicolai mumbled as he pressed the heels of his palms against his eyes.
Just kidding, he was never going to admit defeat. Sooner or later, that woman was going to accept him.
Patrick, who was listening to the groans of the man behind him, could not help but sigh. No wonder Kayden always said that women were the crux of doom.
First, it was Aiden and now it was Nicolai.

He sighed and raised his head when his gaze fell on a woman standing in the parking lot of their company.
“Who is she?” Patrick asked with a frown on his face.
Nicolai raised his head and looked at the woman with familiar pink hair standing in the middle of the parking lot.
Her green eyes were filled with annoyance, while her cheeks were tinged slightly pink. One didn’t need to think twice that the woman was drunk.
“Just call the security and have her thrown off,” Nicolai stated as Patrick parked the car in their designated spot. Nicolai slid out of the car, and then he glanced at the woman who was now looking at him.
‘Why the hell is she looking at me?’ Nicolai thought as he turned his gaze away. He was about to walk away when —
“Mister de Luca, do you have some time to speak with me?” The woman said with a sweet yet imperious smile. Nicolai was annoyed at her attitude, but then he heard the woman say, “I am Ariana’s mother.”
She smiled at the man when Nicolai raised his gaze and looked at her in shock and surprise.
“You— what do you think you are doing here?” Nicolai asked Mrs Harlow, who simpered like a giddy teen girl.
She said to him, “Mister de Luca. I have heard from my daughter, Ariel that you are getting quite cozy with my youngest daughter, Ariana.”
With her eyes opened just a fraction, she looked at Nicolai and remarked to him, “Do you not want to know what kind of woman you are getting entangled with?”
Nicolai was about to refuse but as if sensing his refusal, Mrs Harlow immediately spoke in a hurried and hushed tone, “I mean no harm, Mister de Luca. All I want is to tell you the truth, which even Ariana will not be able to tell you.”
“Why is that?” Nicolai questioned the woman who tittered again.
“Because it’s shameful,” Mrs Harlow answered him swiftly. “If you know what kind of woman she is, you wouldn’t want to stay with her even for a second.”
