Chapter 532: Nicolai snapped.

“Nicolai…you have to stop…” Ariana shook her head fervently. However, Nicolai only smirked before peppering kisses down her body. And as he settled himself between her legs, he realised how turned on his little Pallas was.

And just because he wanted to tease her, he could not help but give her a little lick.

“Mhmm.. you are dripping wet for me, Princess.” Nicolai kissed the inside of her thigh and smirked up at her. “You are so cute.”

“Damn you… Mateo is—Ah! Nico, you bastard—”

“I love it when you talk dirty with me, princess,” Nicolai licked Ariana’s core again. He knew that they were playing a risky game, but he was never one to back down from the risks. Especially not where he was being hidden like some kind of dirty secret.

He wanted to be nice and patient with Ariana, but she was making it a hell lot more difficult by treating him as if he and she had nothing to do with one another.

Ariana moaned, and he placed a hand over her mouth.

She threw her head against the pillow as her eyes rolled back in her sockets. Nicolai smirked as he continued to tease her; he pumped his fingers inside of her, deliberately teasing that sweet spot while licking and sucking her core.

“Mhmm!” Ariana moaned against his hand as she locked her legs around his head, shoving his head against her core even further.

The knocks on the door soon disappeared, and at the same time, Ariana released a delicious whimper before her muscles tensed.

Her legs were still wrapped around his neck as Nicolai gave her a few more licks until every last drop was licked clean.

Nicolai raised his head and looked at Ariana before giving her a grin. “Stop looking at me with those feral eyes, or else I will have no choice but to take you here and now.”

As he pulled away, he noticed the very second she went back to her fighting stance. She opened her mouth, but Nicolai was faster; he covered her mouth with his own and kissed her.

“Unless you want to tell me how fantastic of a job I did just now or thank you for taking that bitch down, I don’t want to hear it.”

She watched him for a beat before saying, “Thank you.”

“You are welcome,” Nicolai grinned as he cuddled against her, planting his lips where her heart lay.

Now that she was no longer in her hottie element, Ariana turned and looked at him. She asked him, “Why does your cousin say that you were in a relationship?”

“He is just playing detective,” Nicolai answered as he kissed her neck. “You might not know this, but Kay is the tracker and detective of our gang, which is why he loves poking his nose in everything. Don’t worry, even if he had doubts regarding you—I cleared them up.”

Ariana pushed him away as she sat up straight. She was a charming sight with her shirt undone and skirt bunched up around her waist; if only she was not frowning, then she would have looked even better.

“By making him think that you are with Marie or Lilian?” she asked with a furrow between her brows.

“What was I supposed to tell him? If I refused, then he would have continued digging. You wouldn’t have liked it, right?”

“And you think I would like it if he were to believe that you are with these women?”

Nicolai chuckled as he went to kiss Ariana, “You are so freaking adorable when you are jealous, princess.”

Ariana pulled away from him and glared at him. “I am not joking, Nicolai.”

“Joking?” Nicolai pulled away. He looked at her expression before he raised his hand and ran it through his hair. A wave of annoyance swept through him. He was trying to be really nice to her, but she was making it impossible.

“No, I am not joking,” he told her while trying to suppress his anger. “The one who is joking has to be you. You have no right to act hurt when it was you who was and still is hell bent on keeping this entire thing with me a secret. Do you think it’s me who is keeping you a secret? I have the courage and the guts to tell everyone that I am with you… it’s you who is not willing!”

“So if others think that I am with someone else, who is to blame? Are you really going to cry over this matter? If you want to act like a booty call, then news flash Ariana—you will be treated like one.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Nicolai closed his mouth, realising that he had said the wrong thing. He raised his head just in time to see a smudge of pain disappear in Ariana’s eyes.

“I am sorry, Princess. I didn’t mean to say that—”

“No, you were right to put me in my place,” Ariana said in a tight voice. “I was the one who asked for this, so it’s only natural for me to suffer.”
