“That night, I visited him to clarify why he suddenly married Di Xiuyu,” Huang Bai Xing crossed her hands on her chest and sat in a crossed-leg posture.

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

“You speak to him, I’m going out.” When she returned from taking a walk outside, a person appeared before her.

“Hi!” Dongfang Moqing greeted her with a smile.

“It’s been a long time,” Shenlian Yingyue replied, smiling back.  He suddenly left the Inner Domain last time, saying he’d visit her when she arrived at the Superior Domain.

Dongfang Moqing apologized stiffly for his delayed visit.

His golden and indigo eyes seemed darker than usual.

“I’m sorry for keeping you waiting,” he said.

“It’s been over a year.” He had been summoned back to his clan by his father to deal with a betrayal, and only now had he returned to this Yellow Planet to visit her.

“I realized that I missed you a little bit,” he admitted, his voice low.

Did anyone bully you?” he asked, his tone slightly weighted with concern.

“The journey of life is never without its ups and downs, can it?” she replied, smiling wistfully as she extended her hand to touch the white lily bathed in the raindrops.
