Evil MC's NTR Harem - Chapter 148
Chapter 148: Chapter 148 Untouchable
“Help! There’s been a massacre at the Noble Nimbus Hotel basement. Please come quickly!” Ross said into the phone, lowering his voice into a deep, commanding tone that sounded nothing like his usual self.
He kept it steady, even as he imagined the chaos that would soon follow. Hanging up, he allowed himself a small, satisfied smile. No one would suspect him of being the anonymous caller.
With that task done, he turned to Maya, who was leaning casually against her car. “Let’s go. We’ve got to pick up Mary.”
Maya nodded and slid into the driver’s seat, her movements fluid and practiced. The hum of the engine filled the quiet night as they drove through the nearly empty streets, heading toward the small hotel where Mary was staying.
When they reached the room, Ross unlocked the door quietly and stepped inside. The dim glow of a streetlight outside filtered through the curtains, casting a soft light over Mary, who was still curled up under the blankets, her chest rising and falling with each steady breath.
She had slept for 8 hours more after she had been thoroughly fucked by Ross.
“Wake up, Mary,” Ross said, his voice gentle but firm.
Mary stirred, her lashes fluttering as her eyes opened slowly. When she saw Ross standing there, her lips curved into a sleepy smile.
“Ross?” she murmured, her voice groggy but warm.
Her happiness, however, was short-lived. A sudden awareness jolted through her when she noticed another person standing near the door.
“Maya!” she yelped, pulling the blanket up to cover her bare shoulders and chest, her cheeks blooming with a deep crimson blush. She looked like a child caught with her hand in the cookie jar, her embarrassment almost palpable.
Maya chuckled softly, her expression one of genuine amusement.
“Relax, Mary. It’s not a big deal,” she said, stepping closer. “Honestly, I’ve been waiting for this to happen. I knew Ross would win you over eventually. What surprises me is that it took him this long.”
Mary blinked at her, still clutching the blanket tightly.
“You’re… not upset?” she asked hesitantly, her voice small.
Maya shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips.
“Not at all. Ross has a way of making people feel special, doesn’t he? He’s been nothing but caring and attentive to me, and I know he’ll be the same with you. There’s no room for jealousy when he makes sure we both feel valued. Not just the two of us in fact but all the others too.” Maya could not help but smile at this unexpected situation she found herself in.
But what was important was that her words seemed to put Mary at ease, though her cheeks remained flushed. She gave a small, shy nod before slipping out of bed and beginning to dress, her movements quick and a little flustered. Ross watched her, a faint smirk playing on his lips, but he said nothing.
Once Mary was ready, the three of them left the room together. The air outside was cool, a light breeze rustling the trees as they walked to Maya’s car. Mary climbed into the backseat while Ross took the passenger seat, leaning back with an air of calm satisfaction.
He already teleported his sports car home ahead of them. It was good to just relax once in a while.
As Maya pulled onto the main road, Mary finally broke the silence. “You know, I’ve skipped two days of classes because of this,” she said, her tone a mix of annoyance and amusement.
“So have I,” Ross replied, turning slightly to glance at her with a grin. “But something tells me it’s been worth it.”
Mary rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the small smile that crept onto her lips. Despite everything, she felt an odd sense of security being with Ross and Maya. For the first time in a while, she wasn’t worried about what might happen next.
Maya glanced at Ross as she drove, her expression unreadable. “So, what’s the plan now?”
Ross’s smirk widened, his gaze fixed on the dark road ahead. “We go home. I think that something pretty interesting is going to start soon.”

“How’s it looking, Detective Monroe?” A deep, commanding voice interrupted Gwen Monroe’s train of thought.
Gwen blinked, momentarily shaken from her silent observations, and turned toward the speaker. The dim light in the underground chamber cast long shadows, making the scene feel even grimmer.
She was a vision of professionalism amidst the chaos. Detective Gwen Monroe, renowned for her sharp instincts and unmatched tenacity, was as striking as she was skilled.
Her tailored light-gray pinstripe pantsuit hugged her frame perfectly, exuding authority and style.

Beneath it, a pristine white collared shirt peeked out, crisp and unwrinkled despite the long hours she’d spent on this case.
A gleaming gold police badge was pinned to her left breast, catching the faint light like a beacon of justice in the bleak surroundings.
In her left hand, she held a sleek pen, while her right gripped a well-worn leather notebook, its pages filled with meticulous notes and observations.
Her dark hair was pulled back into a flawless bun, not a strand out of place. Even in the face of grotesque scenes like this, she maintained a poise that many envied.
It wasn’t just her appearance; it was the air of competence and confidence she carried.
If Gwen hadn’t chosen a career in law enforcement, she could have easily become a global sensation—toppling Miss Universe queens with her beauty and charisma. But she was far more than her looks.
At just 27, she had already carved out a reputation as one of the city’s finest detectives. Her name was synonymous with high-profile arrests and daring shootouts. More importantly, she brought justice to those who thought themselves untouchable.
“It’s ugly, Chief,” Gwen said, breaking the silence. Her voice carried a weariness that belied her composed demeanor.
Her gaze shifted to Peter Montgomery, the chief of police. He stood tall, his broad shoulders framed by a perfectly pressed uniform.
