Evil MC's NTR Harem - Chapter 177
Chapter 177: Chapter 177 Marvel
“I’m going to eat you, babe! Here I come!” Robin growled playfully, charging toward Althea like a lion on the hunt. His grin was shameless, and his intentions were clear—he aimed to hug her tightly and maybe press his arousal against her teasingly. He could already imagine how good it would feel.
Unfortunately for him, Althea had other plans.
“Whoosh!” With a swift movement, she sidestepped, using his momentum against him. In one fluid motion, she flipped Robin onto the bed.
“Ugh!” The impact stunned the big man, knocking the air out of his lungs. He lay sprawled on the mattress, blinking in shock. It took him several deep breaths before he managed to sit up, his expression a mix of confusion and disbelief.
“How… how did you do that?” Robin asked, his voice tinged with awe as he stared at her.
Althea smirked, brushing a strand of damp hair from her face. “I’m a secret kung fu grandmaster. So you’d better behave, okay?” she teased, her tone light and playful.
Before Robin could respond, she darted out of the room, laughing as she went to change in another suite.
Left alone, Robin sat on the bed, still trying to process what had just happened. “Kung fu grandmaster? Since when?” he muttered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief.
Meanwhile, in the other room, Althea’s playful smile faded as she closed the door behind her. Leaning against it, she let out a shaky breath. The technique she had used wasn’t something she had ever learned in this life. It came straight from the memories in her dreams.
In that other life, danger had been a constant shadow. Even women were taught to defend themselves, and those skills had been etched into her mind as vividly as if she had lived them yesterday. The flip she’d just executed had been instinctive, a reflex from a past she still couldn’t fully understand.
Althea moved to the mirror, staring at her reflection. Her heart was heavy with questions. “If these skills are real… then the rest of it must be too,” she whispered, her voice trembling slightly.
Her mind wandered back to the man in her dreams, the one who had shared a lifetime with her—a life filled with love, joy, and heartbreak. That man felt more real to her than anything in her current world, and the pull toward him was growing stronger with each passing day.
“What do I do?” she murmured, her fingers brushing the edge of the counter. “Do I let the ghost of my past life take over… or do I stay here and live in the present?”
The choice weighed heavily on her, and no matter how much she tried to sort through her thoughts, she couldn’t find a clear answer.
For now, all she could do was keep moving forward, even as uncertainty gnawed at her heart. Whatever her decision would be, it was a question she couldn’t run from forever.

At noon, three soft knocks echoed through the hotel room. Althea, her heart pounding with anticipation, rushed to open the door.
The moment she did, her breath caught in her throat, and tears welled in her eyes.
His face was different, but those eyes—those unmistakable eyes—belonged to him. Her beloved. Memories from her dreams surged forward, filling her with a longing so intense it nearly overwhelmed her.
She wanted to embrace him, to kiss him, to tell him how much she had missed him across lifetimes. But reality anchored her. Robin was in the room, and she couldn’t act on impulse.
Before she could gather her words, the visitor spoke first.
“I thought it was a scam,” he said, his tone laced with disbelief. “But it’s really you… Althea Quinn, in the flesh. You’re even more beautiful in person.” His grin was charming. He received a text from an unknown number inviting him to meet Althea Quinn.
Althea opened her mouth to respond, but Robin cut her off before a sound escaped.
“Wait a minute,” Robin said, stepping forward with wide eyes. “Aren’t you Ross Oakley? The guy all over the news? The one with the modern-day harem? What the hell are you doing here?”
Ross turned to Robin, unfazed by the accusation. His grin widened, almost as if he enjoyed the tension. “Me? I was invited, of course. Why don’t you ask your girlfriend why she called me here?”
Both men turned their gazes toward Althea, whose face flushed under the weight of their stares.
“Robin,” she began carefully, her voice steady but resolute. “I need to speak with Ross. Alone. Please.” Her eyes didn’t leave Ross’s face, her expression unreadable but firm.
Robin’s jaw tightened. “You want me to leave you alone with him? Are you serious? That womanizer? Over my dead body. You’d have to call the SWAT team to get me out of this room.”
“Let him stay,” Ross suggested casually, leaning against the doorframe. “I’m curious, too, why you called me here. We can talk in one of the rooms. Doesn’t bother me if your boyfriend listens in.”
Althea hesitated, then nodded. “Fine. Let’s talk here.” She led Ross into the adjoining room, leaving the door slightly ajar.

“Just shout if this guy tries anything, Althea,” Robin said, glaring at Ross. “And don’t lock the door.”
The door closed softly behind them, and Robin immediately pressed his ear against it, straining to hear their conversation. Seconds passed, then a full minute, but all he could hear was silence.
“That’s weird,” Robin muttered, frowning. He knocked on the door. “Althea? Are you okay?”
No answer.
His concern flared into panic. He twisted the doorknob, only to find it locked. “Althea!” he shouted, banging on the door. “Open up!”
When no response came, he tried kicking the door down, but the solid construction of the luxurious hotel thwarted his efforts. He cursed under his breath, his mind racing.
“Damn it! Althea, I’m getting help!” Robin yelled before sprinting toward the front desk to get a key or call security.
As he ran, his heart pounded with fear and frustration. He prayed nothing had happened to Althea—that she was safe.
But the gnawing uncertainty refused to let go, and all he could do was hope that whatever was happening behind that locked door wouldn’t destroy their relationship—or worse.

Inside the room, a deafening staring match unfolded between Ross and Althea. Althea’s expression was a swirling storm of emotions, complex and conflicted, while Ross watched with amused detachment, marveling at how this lovely woman managed to bottle it all up.
Naturally, if his plan was to succeed, a little acting on his part was necessary.
