Evil MC's NTR Harem - Chapter 352
Chapter 352: Chapter 352 Barbie
“This isn’t something to joke about, Ross,” Emma said sharply, her tone cutting through the low hum of chatter in the place.
She turned away and sat back down, her hands trembling slightly as she rested them on the table.
Her voice was quiet but laced with anger, barely above a whisper.
Even so, she cast a quick glance around, her eyes darting nervously from one table to the next.
To her relief, no one seemed to notice, their attention still focused on their own conversations.
“I’m not joking,” Ross said, leaning back in his chair with a smug grin.
His voice was calm, almost lazy, as if he were discussing something as trivial as the weather.
“I can heal her. Right here, right now.” He paused, letting his words sink in, his piercing gaze locking onto Emma’s.
Then, he tilted his head slightly, his expression shifting into something darker, something more calculating.
“But the real question is, what are you willing to give in exchange for this gift of healing?”
Emma stiffened, her hands clenching into fists on the table. She met his gaze, her eyes burning with a mix of desperation and determination.
“Anything,” she said, her voice a low but firm whisper.
“As long as my baby is fine, I’ll agree to anything you want.”
Ross’s grin widened, his satisfaction unmistakable. He leaned forward slightly, his eyes never leaving hers.
“Good,” he said softly.
“Then we have a deal.”
Before Emma could respond, her phone buzzed loudly on the table, breaking the tense silence between them.
She snatched it up, her heart pounding as she answered the call.
As she listened, her face lit up with a mix of disbelief and overwhelming relief.
Without another word, she shot to her feet, practically stumbling in her haste to leave.
Ross watched her go, his amusement growing with every hurried step she took.
She was so caught up in her excitement that she didn’t even look back, let alone remember the terms of their deal.
With a shrug, Ross reached into his pocket and pulled out a wad of cash, tossing a hefty thousand-dollar tip onto the table.
As he stood and adjusted his jacket, he let out a low chuckle, his lips curling into a satisfied smirk.
“Emma Lewis,” he muttered under his breath, heading for the door.
“What a fine, fine woman you are.”
He pushed the door open and stepped outside, whistling a jaunty tune as he walked away, the thrill of the encounter lingering in his mind like a sweet, intoxicating aftertaste.

“Miss Lewis, it’s a miracle! I’ve never seen anything like this. Erica is healthy now—healthier than any child I’ve ever examined,” the doctor exclaimed, his voice brimming with disbelief and awe.
Emma stared at her daughter, who now sat upright on the hospital bed, giggling and playing with a Barbie doll.

The transformation was staggering. Just yesterday, Erica had been frail, barely clinging to life, her body ravaged by Tay-Sachs disease.
Now, she looked like any lively five-year-old, her cheeks rosy and her laughter filling the room.
Emma’s heart swelled with joy, but an undercurrent of doubt gnawed at her. She clenched her fists and forced herself to speak.
“Doctor, do you have any footage of what happened in this room yesterday?”
The doctor hesitated for a moment before nodding.
“We do, but there’s something strange about it. There was a one-second blackout in the recording. When the feed resumed, Erica’s condition had changed drastically. You can see it for yourself.”
He pulled out his phone and tapped a few buttons, handing the screen to Emma.
She watched intently as the footage played. Erica’s tiny, motionless form lay on the hospital bed, her breathing shallow.
Then, the screen went dark for the briefest moment—barely a single breath.
When the feed returned, Erica was sitting up, smiling, and reaching out for her toys.
Emma’s fingers tightened around the phone as she struggled to process what she was seeing.
It was her daughter—there was no doubt about that—but the sudden, inexplicable transformation left her reeling.
Was it truly a miracle? Or was this Ross meddling with powers beyond her understanding?
“Thank you, Doctor,” Emma said quietly, handing the phone back to him. Her mind raced, trying to make sense of the impossible.
The doctor hesitated, his expression turning serious.
“Miss Lewis, what happened to Erica is unprecedented. If you’re willing, we could study her case further. Her blood or genes might hold the key to helping other children suffering from Tay-Sachs disease. This could save lives.”
“No,” Emma replied, her voice sharper than she intended. She stood abruptly, brushing past him to reach her daughter.
“I don’t want to disclose anything. You can leave now, Doctor. My daughter and I will be checking out this afternoon.”
The doctor opened his mouth to protest but stopped at the resolute look in Emma’s eyes. With a reluctant nod, he left the room.
Emma turned back to Erica, scooping her into her arms. Her daughter giggled, wrapping her tiny arms around Emma’s neck.
“Momma,” Erica said clearly, mimicking the voice of her Barbie doll.
Emma’s throat tightened, and she kissed her daughter’s soft, chubby cheeks.
“Let’s go home,” she whispered.
That afternoon, Emma discharged Erica from the hospital. She spent the next week at home, cherishing every moment with her daughter.
The laughter, the hugs, and the endless questions from the curious five-year-old filled her days.
Yet, in the quiet moments, her thoughts kept returning to Ross.
On the weekend, after putting Erica to bed, Emma finally picked up her phone and dialed his number.
“I’ll see you at the Autumn Palms Hotel at 7 tonight,” she said tersely, her voice steady despite the turmoil inside her.
Before Ross could respond, she hung up, clutching the phone tightly in her hand.
She exhaled slowly, her gaze shifting to the sleeping form of her daughter.
Whatever Ross wanted, she would face it.
Her baby was healthy now, and for that, she would pay whatever price was necessary.
