Evil MC's NTR Harem - Chapter 362
Chapter 362: Chapter 362 Duck
“Do you want something, Dr. Rose? Do you even know what time it is?” Ross asked, glancing at the unknown number on his phone.
“It’s Christmas Eve. I know. But I need you—I need you now,” Dr. Rose said, her voice tinged with panic.
“For what? I don’t think we’re close enough for you to be asking favors, Dr. Rose. I’m hanging up, so say your piece quickly,” Ross replied coldly.
“Wait! I’ll owe you a big favor. Just help me this once!” Dr. Rose’s panic was palpable now.
“A big favor? Unless it involves you sleeping with me, I’m out,” Ross said, his tone dripping with indifference. He waited for three breaths, then hung up.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
Five breaths later, just as Ross had expected, the phone rang again.
Ross picked up the call again but didn’t utter a single word. He leaned back in his chair, letting the silence stretch as he waited for Dr. Rose to speak first. It didn’t take long.
“One night. I’ll agree to one night with you,” Dr. Rose finally said, her voice tight with anger. Yet beneath the edge of her words, the unmistakable tremor of desperation betrayed her true emotions.
Ross smirked, though his tone remained cold and calculating.
“One night? That’s all your father’s life is worth to you? One single night?” He let the question hang in the air for a moment before continuing.
“I want more. I want you for as long as he lives. A life for a life. I’m not settling for anything less.”
Dr. Rose inhaled sharply, the weight of his demand rendering her momentarily speechless.
The line went quiet, but Ross waited, his confidence unshaken. He could practically hear her internal struggle.
“How… How do you even know about my father?” she finally asked, her voice low and cautious.
“I didn’t tell anyone. I only got your number from Alvin.”
Ross chuckled softly, the sound carrying an almost predatory quality.
“Let’s just say I know more than most. About you. About your father. About everything that matters.”
She swallowed hard, gripping the phone tightly. His words, his tone—it was like dealing with a force of nature.
An unfathomable mystery.
She wanted to demand answers, to figure out how he could possibly know about her father’s sudden heart attack when even the hospital staff had barely been informed.
But deep down, she knew she wouldn’t get anything from him. Ross wasn’t the type to explain himself.
Dr. Rose’s mind raced. She hated the position she was in, hated that she needed his help. Yet, no one else could do what Ross could.
The thought of losing her father terrified her, and if giving in to Ross was the price, then so be it.
“Fine,” she said at last, her voice trembling but resolute.
“Come to the public hospital. Right now.”
Ross’s smirk deepened, though she couldn’t see it.
“That’s more like it,” he said before the call ended abruptly.
Dr. Rose stared at the phone in her hand, her heart pounding. She hated him, hated herself, hated the whole situation.
But there was no time for regret. She had made her choice, and now, all she could do was hope it wouldn’t destroy her completely.

“Jackpot.” Ross grinned, then left the place without a backward glance. He left a clone behind to keep the party going with the rest of his harem.
Of course, Ross wouldn’t trust just any clone to handle things where it truly mattered.
None of his clones were allowed to make love to his wives—that was a privilege reserved solely for his true self.
“Better make this quick,” Ross muttered as he teleported to the hospital. Space and time bent to his will, the concepts themselves nothing more than tools at his disposal.
In the blink of an eye, he arrived, already dressed in attire suited for the occasion. He strode through the hospital corridors and stopped at the door of a private room, knocking firmly.
“Come in,” a woman’s voice called from inside.
Ross pushed the door open and stepped in, his gaze sweeping across the room.
There were three occupants: Dr. Rose Yates, a middle-aged woman who was clearly her mother, and an older man lying unconscious in the hospital bed—Rose’s father.
“Hello, Mrs. Yates. I’m Ross, your daughter’s boyfriend,” Ross said with a charming smile as he approached the older woman, extending his hand for a shake.
Mrs. Yates raised an eyebrow in mild surprise but took his hand gracefully.
Ross’s eyes briefly widened as he felt the unexpected strength in her handshake.
“Oh? That’s a surprise. I thought Edward was…” Mrs. Yates trailed off, her tone slightly pointed as she released Ross’s hand.
“He’s old news, Mrs. Yates,” Ross said smoothly. “I’m just here to offer my support to the family. I have no doubt Mr. Yates will recover fully and be back on his feet before the New Year.”
Ross walked over to Dr. Rose, planting a light kiss on her cheek, then turned his attention to the man in the bed.
Without hesitation, he reached out and placed a hand briefly on the patient’s arm.
The touch was fleeting, but Dr. Rose noticed it, her heart screaming silently for a miracle.
She prayed her father would wake up, healthy and whole, just as Ross had promised. But the room remained quiet, her father still motionless.
“So, Ross,” Mrs. Yates began, breaking the silence. “What can you tell me about yourself? You seem a little young for my d—”
Mrs. Yates began small talk.
They chatted for thirty minutes, Ross navigating the conversation with his usual charm.
Mrs. Yates was polite but guarded, though Ross managed to win a few genuine smiles from her as the minutes passed.
Then, suddenly—
“Hmmm…”
The sound from the bed was faint but unmistakable. All three turned sharply toward the source, shock and joy flooding the room.
Dr. Rose’s eyes widened, her hands flying to her mouth as her father stirred, his eyelids fluttering open.
“Dad!” she gasped, rushing to his side, tears spilling freely down her cheeks.
Mrs. Yates clasped her hands together, her elegant composure giving way to relief and gratitude as she whispered a heartfelt, “Thank God.”
Ross watched the scene with a knowing smile, his arms crossed.
“Told you,” he said softly, his voice barely audible over the cries of joy in the room.
