Chapter 540: Outer God Yaleth
Neo appeared in a dark cavern.
He had teleported to the location where the presence of life was the strongest.
There was a giant black bone in front of him with purple cracks running through it. The part in front of him was small, and he realized it was part of a much larger spinal cord.
“I know you are alive. Stop trying to hide,” Neo said.
There was no response.
“True name Yaleth, Void God, Rank Stage 3, Origin World Vur’mekar.”
The presence in the cavern flinched.
There was silence for a moment before a deep rumble echoed.
“Who dares to disturb my slumber!? Is Death what you–”
“Your current strength is Empyrean rank. Both of us know you can’t do shit to me, and that’s why you were hiding just now.”
Silence again.
“…What do you want, human?”
“I want to know about the Spirits that were extracted from you.”
“The true soul spirits?”
“Yes.”
Yaleth sighed. It would’ve attacked Neo if it had its original strength. Hell, if it could move at least, it would’ve fought even if that resulted in death.
But…
“I have one condition.”
“I’m all ears.”
Yaleth would rather die than reveal anything about the true soul weapons, but this moment was unique.
The man in front of Yaleth was impossibly strong.
If Yaleth could manipulate him, there was a chance Yaleth could kill the one who had killed it.
“I want you to deliver something to someone.”
“What and to whom?”
“Go to my home planet. My research is there. I want you to deliver it to my friend, Kevin Wallington.”
Yaleth’s tone when it revealed Kevin’s name was proud.
It made Neo wonder if Kevin was supposed to be some sort of bigshot.
“Is he Kevin someone I am supposed to know?”
“…You don’t know Kevin?”
“No?”

“He is an apostle!”
“Apostle?”
“Yes, an Apostle! The Apostle!”
“What’s an Apostle?”
“An Apostle is an Apostle. What sort of weird question is that?”
Neo quickly realized that asking about Apostle was going to be a headache. He decided to change the topic.
“So I deliver it to this Kevin guy, and you will tell me about true soul spirits?” Neo questioned. “Not going to lie. That sounds needlessly burdensome. I’ll just devour you and take your memories.”
“My memories? Take them.” Yaleth scoffed. “Did you think I wasn’t prepared for something like this? My mind has no memories of true soul weapons. Half of it is in my home planet – my research – and the other half of it is with Kevin.
“Even if you devour me, you will gain nothing.”
“Fine,” Neo said. “Where is your planet, and why do you want to deliver to Kevin.”
“It’s payment. I will give him the research, and he will take my revenge. He will kill the one who killed me!”
“Wait a second, correct me if I’m wrong, you are the Outer God who invaded Luminera several hundred years ago, no?”
“I am.”
“And the one who killed you is….”
“The One Above All.” Yaleth spoke with its voice dripping with venom. “Finally, that guy’s irritating smirk will be wiped off.”
“Yaleth,” Neo called out, but Yaleth ignored his words.
Recalling its murderer seemed to have ticked off Yaleth as it kept talking.
“He faced my entire army alone with a smirk and insulted us. So what if he is strong? Even he will be crushed by Kevin!”
“Yaleth.”
“Wait for it, One Above All! You will finally understand there is a heaven above heavens! You will regret–”
“He is my brother.”
Yaleth froze.
Silence stretched between the two until Yaleth spoke again,
“The One Above All?”
“Yes, he is my older brother.”
“Oh, he is the older one?” Yaleth questioned. “Uhm, is there any possibility that the two of you don’t have a good relationship?”
“No.”
“Fuck.”
Neo chuckled. He could see the similarity between Yaleth and Velkaria. Like God, like Angel.
He didn’t show it on his face though, and kept a serious expression.
“Well, anything else? I mean, you should be happy I’m not killing you right now for attacking my planet.”
“Fuck off,” Yaleth said. “I won’t hand the truth of True Soul Weapons to anyone other than Kevin. They are our only hopes of fighting against the Eternals.”
“Huh?” Neo was surprised.
“Just kill me. This isn’t a matter of–”
“You know Eternals?”
“Huh?” This time it was Yaleth who was surprised. “You know Eternals?”
Neo massaged his brows.
Of course, Yaleth knew Eternals.
Yaleth created True Soul Spirits that had a similar presence to Demons. Demons’ authority was on par with Eternals.
In other words, Yaleth was trying to create something that was on par with – and could possibly fight – Eternals.
“Are you with them?” Yaleth said in a threatening tone. “Otherwise, there is no way you can ‘remember’ anything about Eternals.”
“They erased my friends.”
“…So they are your enemies?”
“Yes.”
“How can I trust you?”
“That’s the neat part. I don’t need your trust,” Neo said. “I either use my trait to manipulate and control your mind, or you start telling me about Eternals right now.”
Silence appeared.
Just as Neo was about to move, Yaleth hurriedly spoke, “I don’t have memories of Eternals in my mind either.”
“What?”
“All information about Eternals is forcefully erased.”
“Then, how did you remember the word Eternals?”
“It’s a Spell. I do remember the basic keywords, and what I want to do, but all information is stored in my [Mind] that is on my home planet.”
“Then, let’s go there. You will show me the way.”
“Huh–”
Before Yaleth could complete its words, Beelzebub stopped time for everyone in the continent other than himself and Yaleth.
Then, Neo used Telekinesis he gained from B’jael, one of his shadow summon, to lift the entire continent.
Since Yaleth’s body was buried in several locations, he couldn’t take it out easily.
With the continent hanging in the air, a giant emptiness appeared in its place. The surrounding sea was about to rush in to fill the gap.
Neo created walls with Earth Elementals to stop the sea.
He flew into the air and looked down.
Now, he was able to see the different body parts of Yaleth that were embedded in different locations under the continent’s crust.
Darkness surged from him and devoured Yaleth.
He gained memories.
In them, he saw Yaleth’s home planet, it taking its army to attack Luminera, and falling to a single man – The One Above All.
There weren’t many memories. It seemed Yaleth had erased memories long ago so that no one could take them.
Neo used Shadow Core concept to create a genderless body for Yaleth. He gave it long green hair, androgynous face, and rebuilt a new soul and Seed of Existence.
Then he took Yaleth’s Consciousness from his mind and stuffed it into the new body.
“H-huh? Did I die? Wait, how am I alive?”
Neo ignored Yaleth’s confusion.
He put down the continent, and he used Time Dissonance Spell.
An orb of distorted time formed in his hand.
He used it to reverse time of the continent’s crust, and repair the damage he had done.
“Beelzebub, you can let time flow now.”
