Maybe it was because of how he was always fearless, or how he did anything for people close to his heart, Velkaria felt drawn to him.

It was why she revealed the True Soul Spirits to him and told him how to turn them into weapons – which was what Yaleth wanted to do before he died.

She began to regret killing his parents.

But, despite how she felt, she knew Henry loathed her from the depth of his heart.

Velkaria continued to float above his grave.

Now that he was dead, she realized what she wanted. She wanted to apologize to Henry.

I guess I’m staying here until he reincarnates and comes back here.

There was no guarantee he would come back to Luminera.

God Clans that were afraid of Henry Hargraves were now openly baring their fangs at the God Clans who had supported Henry Hargraves.

The power balance had shifted in the favour of Zeus God Clan and their supporter.

Drunk on their confidence, they sent Senators to assassinate Layla – who no doubt had as much potential as Neo Hargraves and Henry Hargraves.

The Senators were killed, and their corpse disappeared completely.

The mysterious death alarmed the God Clans.

They sent stronger assassins. But the same result repeated.

The God Clans were about to take more serious action when suddenly Jack appeared above the skies of Zeus God Clan with his ‘pet’ dragon and destroyed everything.

“This is a warning,” he said. “I’m a bit nicer than the guy protecting Layla, so I will give you one chance. But if you attack her, or Hargraves Corporation again, don’t expect to keep living.”

Before, Jack wouldn’t have thought of doing anything like this.

His family was a subclan of Zeus Clan.

In fact, in the past, he had been forced to reveal Neo’s bloodline to Lucas during the academy days. It was how Zeus Clan came to find out Neo’s bloodline.

Jack still hated himself for doing that.

But what he hated more was how Neo never mentioned it to Jack.

Neo must’ve known Jack backstabbed him back then.

After all, the only people in their team were Leora and Christian (high ranking member of Poseidon Clan), Mars (genius of Ares Clan), and Jack, a no one demigod from a weak god clan.

It was obvious who would leak the news.

“Jack Hanam, do you think your family will be safe after you attacked us–”

Jack killed the person who talked, who luckily for him was Lucas. The guy still thought of Jack as a weakling who could be blackmailed.

After killing a few more members of Zeus Clan, Jack disappeared and was never seen on Luminera again.

Coupled with his warning and mysterious disappearance of the Exalted rank assassins, the God Clans decided to not attack Hargraves Corporation.

But that wasn’t all.

The next day, leaders of several God Clan, including Zeus God Clan were suddenly killed.

“Why did you do that?” Percival asked. “I told you leaders of God Clans are Seraphs. They will reincarnate once they die. This is why all of them look young.”

“I had my reasons,” Felix shrugged, cleaning the barrels of Venyth.

Seraphs could reincarnate, and if they reincarnated from a Stage-2 to Stage-3 world, their gene limit would similarly be lifted by one rank.

This ability was the reason why the method to create Seraphs were invented during Age of Gods.

It allowed people to break through their in-birth limit without fusing with Sacred Treasures.

“How did you even kill them?” Percival questioned. “No, nevermind, I supposed Venyth evolved again? That must be why your took such reckless actions.”

Felix chuckled, seeing Percival in such worry.

She decided to reveal a secret to him.

“I used the Blood Sea’s blood to empower my bullet before I killed the God Clan Leaders.”

“What does that have to….” Percival’s eyes slowly widened when he understood what she wanted to say. “You can now copy the traits of high rank beings too? Did you copy the ability of Blood Sea!?”

“I can only copy it partially if they are two or more ranks higher than me, but yes, I copied a part of Blood Sea’s ability. Now the God Clan leaders cannot reincarnate, even if they are Seraphs. They are dead for the good.”

After the incident, a bounty was placed on Felix’s head, and he was forced tor run away.

He left the planet through the Blood Sea.

Over the next few decades, Morrigan left academy and joined Hargraves Corporation.

Layla had always liked her, next to only Amelia, and was happy to accept her in Hades Clan, which was now led by Layla.

She was the third head of the Hades God Clan.

The first head was One Above All – her older brother Henry.

And the second head was the Divine Emperor – Neo Hargraves, her second brother.

Layla knew nothing about Neo Hargraves.

When she asked Amelia about him, she only received a cold glare.

Morrigan also didn’t talk much about him.

As for his other friends, Layla could not meet them since they were busy, and the ones who she could meet – like Clara, and Nathan – did not have much impression of Neo other than he was a storm who was always doing something unexpected.

From what she gathered, Neo was… an oddball.

He remained under radar until he suddenly created a giant commotion in mermaid country – which was destroyed several years ago by an Exalted beast that came out of Blood Sea.

Neo, then, shined like a star during the few months he stayed in the academy.

He went from a fraud to the Divine Emperor.

He suddenly disappeared for a few days, and came back as a Paragon who cleared a Shadow Trial.

It made him a sensation throughout the continent.

But then he suddenly disappeared again, never to be seen.

No one knew where he was, or what happened to him.

He simply vanished from the face of the world.

She was slowly looking for clues about her second brother when suddenly she could no longer do that. More urgent issues took her focus.

The other continents were found, and the news brought a great change in Luminera.

For long, the Exalted Demigods had an inkling that their world was a continent, and there were more continents.

But the news was confirmed when one of the people of the other continent stepped on Luminera… to declare war.

The next hundred and fifty years drenched the continent in the blood from the war.

Luminera won.

Mars, Amelia, and Arthur became war heroes who saved their continents along with the God Clans.

Morrigan became famous as the Guardian of Thousand Fates.

And Layla’s name was sung as the Empress of Death.

Percival was also titled as a hero.

The victory brought the peace back.

However, as time passed, the resources the God Clans received from victory, combined with the satisfaction of confirmation of their strength, made them arrogant and corrupt.

They began to partake in crimes and believed law was beneath them.

While Arthur and others were wrecking their head for as to how to solve the problem, Jack returned.

He said he was on a vacation, and came back to see his home.

When he disappeared again, the corrupt members of God Clans were all dead.

It earned him the ire of the God Clans, but they could do nothing. After all, if rumors were to be believed he was as strong as Mars, and Arthur, if not stronger.
