Chapter 112: The Artificial dungeon test… Part-5.
As Mark entered the watchtower’s ground floor, he saw the gate on the opposite side opening.
‘Hmm? Someone passed the trial and came from the other door?’
Mark was quite surprised that someone had passed the trail nearly as fast as him.
Even if he had to create two new spells on the spot to pass the trail, others will likely have to come up with strong strategies too; otherwise, they won’t be able to pass this trail at all.
‘Wait, they never said that the students are not allowed to fight among each other… I should stay on guard…’
The assistant professor didn’t tell them whether it was allowed to attack other students or not.
‘There’s no way to steal others’s points, but people might still fight among each other… I should not think that others will show kindness-‘
Just as Mark was still contemplating in his mind, a figure covered in a dark, shadowy cloak walked inside from the opposite door.
Seeing that person, Mark was quite surprised.
The shadow cloak disappeared, and Risa’s smiling face appeared in Mark’s view.
“Ah, Mark! You are already here!? I thought I was the first one to arrive!”
Risa clenched her small fist and said in a confident tone,
“Don’t think that I have lost yet; I will definitely be the first one to clear the second trial!”
Mark ignored her challenge and asked,
“That aside, what strategy did you use to pass the trail? You made it here quite fast, actually…”
At Mark’s question, Risa immediately started to explain,
“Well, I found an entrance to the giant mouse colony, and then I dragged them out to rush towards the watchtower…”
Risa forced the whole colony of mice to come out and rush towards the watch tower like crazy, and then she used her shadow cloak to hide herself in the shadow of the mice that were running towards the watch tower.
Her strategy was simple yet effective.
She made her way here by sacrificing nearly two to three thousand giant mice for her own benefit.
A complicated expression appeared on Mark’s face as he asked,
“So, you are saying that you… actually went inside a mice nest… then you beat the sh*t out of their leader, and then they chased behind you like crazy?”
Risa nodded her head with a proud look on her face.
“I also concocted a ‘Crazy-rush bomb’ and threw it at their faces to make them go crazy and lose their mind…”
For the first time, Mark seemed to lack knowledge. He asked with a bewildered look on his face,
“What is a ‘crazy-rush bomb’? This is the first time I am hearing about it…”
Risa nodded her head at his words and said,
“Well, of course you haven’t heard about it; it’s torture equipment after all! You can make it with a demon bear’s heart, a rock wolf’s liver, and a flame python’s eyeball…”
“I made it from the materials I collected from the monsters in the forest… This type of bomb releases toxic smoke that directly burns your nostrils, and your eyeballs catch fire in an instant…”
“If you inhale too much, then the lungs start burning from inside, and you will lose your mind due to the intense pain… That’s exactly what happened to the mice that I used as cannon fodder…”

Mark couldn’t help but feel a lot of complicated emotions surging in his mind. He hasn’t read a book about torture and stuff, so he doesn’t know about it in much detail.
This is the first time he’s heard about such a horrible torture method.
He glanced at Risa and asked,
“Isn’t torture generally used to extract information from people? If they use this method, then the person might not be able to give any information as they will go insane from pain…”
“Then what’s the use of this method? Isn’t it useless?”
Mark was hoping that Risa would say that this type of torture method has gone extinct and no one uses it today, but his hopes were broken by Risa.
She puffed up her chest in pride and started to explain,
“Well, not all torture methods are used for the purpose of extracting information… Some are used for fun too…”
“They make the fighters in the underground illegal arenas inhale this thing and make them go crazy so that they can fight more fiercely… It’s actually a very famous thing on the dark web…”
“I learned its recipe from Professor Gazid’s books; he conducted a lot of experiments on monsters with this thing…”
Mark just stopped talking at that moment; he didn’t dare ask any further about these things.
He was afraid that Risa would tell him more horrible stuff that would give him nightmares.
“Er.. Are you sure you should be learning things like that… Uh, don’t they affect your mentality unconsciously?”
Hearing those words, Risa thought that Mark was worried about her health, so she smiled happily and nodded her head.
“It doesn’t affect me at all! I am fit and fine!”
She doesn’t acknowledge that learning these kinds of things has completely messed up her mind.
Just when Mark was about to say something, the ground trembled a bit, the carpet on the floor nearby suddenly disappeared, and a staircase appeared out of thin air.
Looking at that staircase, the two of them nodded their heads, and they immediately took the stairs to descend to the next floor.
…
First floor, near a giant lake.
*Boom!!*
A gigantic snake’s tail hit the ground, massive cracks appeared in the ground, and a huge amount of debris flew in all directions.
Allen, who had barely dodged the attack by pushing himself to the side with the help of wind magic, panted heavily.
“Ugh… aahhh… it hurts…”
Although he was barely able to dodge, his left arm was hit by the gigantic tail, and the bones and muscles in his arm directly broke in an instant.
Right now, his left arm is hanging onto his shoulder, but it’s bent in a crooked way, and even the broken bone has pierced out of the skin.
Blood is flowing like a fountain, and the pain is unbearable.
Allen gritted his teeth as tears started to appear in his eyes due to the immense pain.
‘D*mn it! D*mn it!’
Allen’s healing magic is still very weak, so he can’t heal such a severe injury. All he can do right now is either voluntarily admit defeat or get teleported out of the dungeon.
Or he will have to bear the pain and pour all his mana to barely stop the pain and bleeding in his arm by using the healing magic.
