Anger of the common folk… Part-1.
Capital City Delta, National Airport.
Jareth and the others got off the plane after a five-hour flight and finally returned to the capital city after dealing with all that trouble in Artavia.
Yesterday, they partied all night, and then they slept on the plane after boarding it in the early morning.
All of the students had sleepy looks on their faces, and Risa was even clinging to Mark’s arm as she didn’t want to open her eyes at all.
For some reason, all of the professors are tacitly not disturbing the students from getting into relationships.
Their thoughts on this matter are simple: ‘Let the children enjoy their lives; why burden them with the cruel world before they are ready for it?’
If you look at it, all five of the professors have some kind of family issue.
Putting Jareth aside, Shin’s parents scold him all the time, as they want him to come back to the family and take over the head position.
Yoseh had fights with her parents before she decided to leave the family and become a professor.
Thomas comes from humble origins, and his parents were always busy earning money, so they didn’t give him love.
Gazid’s mental state deteriorated significantly due to the trauma he experienced from his abusive parents.
In other words, all five of them have always had issues, and none of them has been loved a lot. Now they are fearful of interfering in the love lives of the students, and they don’t want similar things to happen to them.
Even though they may not have received the love they deserved, the students in their care shouldn’t lose their innocence.
{When faced with life’s challenges, an individual has two options:
Either he creates the same difficulties for others so that they can suffer as he did.
Or that person helps others so that others don’t suffer in the same way as he did.
It all depends on a small decision, but the outcome of both paths is vastly different.}

…
While walking towards the parking area of the airport, Shin’s had a disapproving look.
“Ugh… I don’t want to go to work now~ I just came back from that sh*thole of a place!! I want to lay on the couch and watch TV all day long!!”
“Why is life so unfair~ Why can’t society let me sleep peacefully!! I hate work!!”
Yoseh also nodded her head in support of Shin’s words.
“Yeah, I would rather try various new clothes or go shopping instead of doing so much work… ugh! I hope we get some raises in our salaries soon…”
Hearing Yoseh’s words, Thomas shook his head and said in a calm tone,
“Forget about raising wages… The principle is still stuck in that infinite loop, which means we might not even get our salaries and bonuses this time….”
“Worst-case scenario… we will all become unemployed soon!”
When they heard those words, black lines began to appear all over their faces.
Raise in salary? They are on the verge of losing their jobs!
Unless a new principal is chosen and a new contract is formed with the government to continue the funding for the university, the university will go bankrupt soon!!

Even Gazid shook his head in disappointment.
“Sigh~ I was thinking of ordering a new time of acid to experiment with it on my test subjects… But without money, I might not be able to produce any results this time, ugh…”
Yoseh gave Gazid a disapproving look and spoke in a disgusted tone.
“Tch, it’s not like you produce any results anyway… All you do is torture those monsters all year long… If not for me helping you dodge the police, you would have been in jail by now…”
Upon hearing Yoseh’s words, Gazid avoided her gaze.
“Cough! Cough… ahem! I-I certainly do give some results on monsters anatomy, though… That can’t be denied, Ms. Yoseh…”
Yoseh was even more angered after hearing those words.
“Shove those weird anatomy books up you’re a*s!! Who the f*ck even reads those types of sh*tty books!”
(Risa sneezed immediately at those words… and look around to see if someone was talking about her…)
Jareth ignored the useless chatter and looked at Thomas before saying, in a calm tone:
“The university used to get funding because the principal had an official contract with the government; if a new principal is appointed, we can ask him to sign a new contract with the government…”
Hearing those words, Thomas nodded his head in agreement.
“Yeah, that right… Wait, why are you looking at me like that? Don’t tell me-”
Before Thomas could complete his sentence, Jareth placed his hand on his shoulder and patted him twice.
“I support you; become the principal, Thomas Abrego…”
Before Thomas could refute Jareth’s words, the other professors also nodded their heads in support.
Shin gave a light punch to Thomas’s back and said, in an excited tone,
“Well, if Jareth was trying to seize the position of the principal, then I would have definitely objected, but if it’s you, Thomas, then there’s no problem; you will make good decisions, I think…”
At this point, Thomas already has the support of four professors on his side; he only needs to go back and get the support of other professors, and he will be appointed as the principal without any difficulty.
Thomas is the most senior of them all, at thirteen; he’s been a professor in this academy since even before Jareth and Shin graduated.
Even Nathan always relied on Thomas for all the work of the principal, and thus Thomas has a vast amount of experience in this aspect.
That’s why it was the best choice to make Thomas the next principal.
(In truth, none of the professors want to take on all that excessive work; they are literally pushing Thomas to the position so that they don’t have to do too much work…)
Although Thomas was aware that assuming the role of principal would entail a significant amount of work, he remained open to the idea.
He rose from a poor family, and he has always strived for a better future.
Getting the position of principal has always been his greatest dream, and now that it is about to come true, he won’t back away from the difficulties.
“Thank you everyone for your support; I won’t let you guys down…”
The professors got to avoid excessive work, and Thomas got to complete his dream; it was a win-win situation for all.
As for the opinion of the students, That doesn’t matter to these grade-2 mages at all.
…
The endless chatting continues till all of them reach the parking area.
However, before they could get into the car, the driver unexpectedly asked,
“Uh… How about we don’t go back to the university for the time being… You know, with the things going on on the internet, a massive crowd is surrounding the university right now…”
Jareth and others were confused by those words.
They immediately took out their smartphones and searched the internet to see what was going on.
And sure enough, they immediately found the news in the headlines.
[Shocking news! The principal of Ivan’s higher arcane university actually plotted such devious plans against his own students!]
[Thousands of people died because of the principal’s wrong way of teaching his students!]
Jareth and others were unaware of the fact that Rahnan had spread a massive amount of evidence against Nathan on the internet.
Millions of people have currently seen that evidence, and it is rapidly spreading.
The whole internet is erupting over this news, and people are launching massive protests to demand justice.
In theory, Nathan’s inadequate teaching of his students led to the death of every individual in that border city, and Nathan’s actions led Abella down a dark path.
If he hadn’t done all that, Abella wouldn’t have murdered so many innocent people to extract their souls.
People are furious after learning all of this, and widespread protests are taking place across the country.
Citizens from across the nation have surrounded the university to ask Nathan for an explanation.
But as Nathan is already trapped in the death cage, there’s no one to clarify this situation, and the anger in the general populace has increased even further.
Fortunately, all of the students are currently out of the university as it is still under repair.
The university is still undergoing repairs after Abella caused significant damage not too long ago.
Students have still not returned to the university, so it’s currently empty, and there’s no danger to the lives of the innocent students.
However, if the common people’s anger doesn’t subside quickly, they will undoubtedly destroy the university sooner or later.
Because of the massive crowd of people, the driver advised Jareth and others not to go to the university at this time.
If they go there right now, they will definitely suffer the wrath of so many people.
Although Jareth and others are grade 2 mages, they can’t just go and kill people in broad daylight.
The military will be deployed to deal with them if they dare to massacre innocent people without any reason.
And if you end up fighting the military, then you will become the enemy of the whole nation at that point.
Rahnan’s evidence was so strong that not even the government could defend Nathan’s crimes, and not even the most accomplished lawyers could exonerate him from his guilt.
He’s bound to get a major punishment if he comes out of that death cage.
People are currently so enraged that they stormed the national hero museum and destroyed his statue with sticks and hammers.
