Chapter 121: The Conspiracy
The rest of the weekend at Fresh Spring Ville went down like a breeze for the entire Anderson family.
Bonds were strengthened, companionship was reinforced and sparks ignited among couples.
By Monday morning, it was finally time for everyone to say goodbye to the magical reunion and the peaceful countryside.
Amelia slowly folded her clothes and arranged them neatly in her traveling bag. She, amongst a few others, was reluctant to leave the countryside. She wasn’t ready to face the disruptive reality of her life in the city, at least not just yet.
The tranquillity of Fresh Spring Ville had stolen her breath away. She has fallen head over heels in love with Blaze against her better judgment. And she was afraid that returning to the city might turn him back to the man she formally detested.
As she leisurely closed her bag, a small pill bottle fell from the inner unzipped compartment of the bag. She crouched and picked up the brown pill bottle, chuckling as she remembered how embarrassed she felt when Blaze gave them to her yesterday after they returned from the Spa.
Memories of the magical night at the lake flashed across her mind, causing her cheeks to redden. She stood up and sat on the bed, caressing the bottle as her mind drifted away from her body.
It was like a dream come true for her as Blaze took her beyond realms of pleasure that night. They had made out in the open like wild and free animals crossing every boundary of vulnerability between them to become one. And for the first time ever, she got to taste what real and raw pleasure felt like without any barrier, moaning loud into the dead of the night like a wild vixen in heat.
Amelia didn’t recall how she carried her nude self to the mansion. She only woke up the following morning to see herself wrapped up under the warm sheets and entangled in her husband’s arms. And like two anacondas in heat wrapped around each other, they continued from where they left off that same morning.
A knock on the door jolted Amelia out of her haze of thoughts. She quickly hid the bottle under a pillow, thinking it was her mother-in-law, as the door was pushed open.
“You’re not done packing?” Blaze scrunched his face a little as he briskly made his way into the room and shut the door behind him.
“I’m almost done.” Amelia smiled retrieving the bottle from under the pillow while admiring Blaze’s smart cooperative look.
“I have a meeting for 9:00 AM and I have to be in the city before that time,” Blaze explained calmly while wondering why Amelia’s cheeks were looking so flushed.
“I’m sorry. I’ll be quick.” Amelia stood up from the bed to avert his gaze. She threw the contraceptive bottle into her bag and was about to zip it when Blaze asked softly behind her.
“Have you taken your drugs this morning?”
“Oh…I forgot.” Amelia whispered. “I’ll do that right away.” She picked the bottle up and unscrewed the lid while Blaze helped her with a glass of water.
She took out one of the whitish tablets and threw it into her mouth, accepting the glass of water from Blaze’s outstretched hand.
Unbeknownst to Amelia and Blaze, the contents of the pill bottle have been switched by the ever-vigilant and conspiring mothers to pure vitamins.
“I’ll take the rest of the bags downstairs. Join me when you are ready.” Blaze kissed her briefly on the lips before exiting the room with the rest of her luggage.
Taking one quick glance around the massive bedroom to ensure she wasn’t forgetting anything, Amelia released a sigh before equally exiting the room.
Downstairs, the majority of the departing family members were already saying their goodbyes to one another amidst tears.
Amelia joined in the exchange, hugging everyone and promising to keep in touch before departing the mansion with her husband.
Instead of the long drive back to the city, Blaze opted to fly, taking the helicopter with his mother, his wife and Eugene while Henry stayed behind to enjoy the peaceful countryside for one more week

After Matt succeeded in rendering his elder brother incapacitated for a few days, he finally set him free, preparing the latter to take a huge fall for an initiated battle against Blaze Anderson.
Matt wanted Blaze to pay dearly for having the temerity to threaten him with a gun and for rough handling his secret lover. He also wanted to ruin Amelia for choosing Blaze over her family, and the senator for his betrayal all those years back.
The mission was simply to stir the already troubled water and watch Blaze and the senator goes head to head in a fierce battle over Amelia.
With the money recovered from Regina and Gwen, Matt shared the money equally in five ways.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
A portion of the money was given to Desmond. A second portion went to the senator’s security head, Lin Fox, who was secretly working for Matt.
The third portion, which was initially meant for Pearl was withheld by Matt after Regina failed to repay her debt, giving herself up and her younger sister up as Matt’s bimbo. The fourth portion went to Matt. The fifth and last portion went into planning Blaze Anderson’s downfall.
Very early on Monday morning, Matt arrived at the notorious Howling Wolf biker’s club establishment located on the outskirts of Salvine City.
The building stood alone on an acre of land that was entirely enclosed by an electrified fence. Around the fence were surveillance cameras dotting the barrier’s upper rim and a powerful LED light illuminated the perimeter.
Matt drove through the large iron gate and pulled over at the end of the row. As the engine slowly died down, his gaze shifted to the heavily muscular security men holding machine guns and walking towards him.
Taking a deep breath to stifle his nerves, he climbed out of the car, holding a briefcase filled with hard currency.
“I’m here to see the Don. I have an appointment with him.” Matt said in a slightly quivering voice as one of the large bearded armed men lifted his automatic machine gun pointing the nozzle on Matt’s forehead, his finger on the trigger ready to blow Matt’s brains out.
The other grumpy-looking guy roughly snatched the briefcase from Matt’s hand and dropped it on the bonnet of the car.
Matt was frisked and scanned by a hand metal detector. The briefcase was also scanned before the armed bearded guard holding the gun ordered Matt to open the briefcase.
Upon confirming the content of the briefcase, Matt was led into the heavily guarded building. He was further led through the courtyard into a well-lavished house were he observed some of the vipers gang with their half dressed bimbo’s glaring at him like some sort of an intruder.
“This way.” The impatient guard with a gun pointed pointed at a narrow corridor the led into a well furnished and ventilated office – where a heavily tattooed man sat, smoking a thick cigar, his legs crossed on the mahogany desk.
“Is my money complete?” The stoned face Don with a dreaded snarling wolf on his partly exposed chest demanded in a dangerous voice, puffing out rings of smoke into the air.
“Five million dollars as promised and five million when the job is completed,” Matt said, putting up a tough look as one of the guards opened the briefcase for the boss to see.
“I like you.” The Don grinned evilly.
“And one more thing.”
“That means you’re about to pay me double.” The Don’s gaze turned cold and deadly as he sat up, running his hand on the cash.
“Money isn’t an issue. I want my elder brother, Senator Gregory Shawl to take the fall for the attack.”
The Don let out a dangerous laughter, his evil eyes narrowing at Matt.
“Consider it done.”
