Chapter 129: What Have You Done To Me?

Tina was tempted to chuckle at Amelia’s statement but rather she cleared her throat, her behaviour infuriating Amelia further.

“Unlike you, Tina, I don’t do crazy, neither do I eat my vomit. You and I know that you are not sorry for what you did. If given the chance you will do worse. I believe you have something to say to me. So spare me the hypocritical bullshit and go straight to the point. You have thirty seconds left. Use it wisely.”

Tina bit down on her tongue to prevent herself from spewing a nasty curse word in Amelia’s face. She looked straight into Amelia’s eyes and spoke from the abundance of her heart.

“Amelia, I understand that you are still angry and I will not hold you for your hurtful words. Nevertheless, let me be open with you. I love Blaze Anderson with all my heart and I’m not ashamed to say it. His happiness means the world to me and I will not take lightly if anyone hurts him.” Tina stressed her last three words.

“I’m willing to sacrifice my love for him to be with you despite the way I feel about your marriage to him. So for the sake of the man we both love, I want us to put aside our hatred for one another and start afresh as friends. As long as Blaze is happy being married to you, I will respect his wishes and remain very good friends with him. I have given him my words and now, I’m giving you my word.” Tina ended with a smile. “I guess my one minute is over. Have a good evening.” She turned around to leave but Amelia caught her by the arm and made her face her.

“Not so fast, Tina. Or wouldn’t you like to hear my reply?” Amelia asked releasing her arm.

“Sure. I was simply acting based on your request.” A smirk curled up at the side of Tina’s nude glossy lips.

“I’ve changed my mind. Now here is my reply.”Amelia moved closer to Tina so that they were standing eyeball to eyeball. She raised her hand to Tina’s face making the latter flinch thinking she was about to slap her.

But Amelia gently tucked Tina’s loose hair behind her ear, stroking his cheeks in the process.

Pascal and Clay watched on the sideline, ready to diffuse the already ticking time bomb.

“Your words and ridiculous sacrifices don’t mean shit to me,” Amelia said softly, her icy words laced with undiluted venom.

“You are nothing but a washed-up and forgotten memory in my husband’s heart.”

Tina’s eyes flared, her brows pulled together in rage.

Amelia allowed her hand to wander down the sweetheart neckline of Tina’s top, tracing it slowly and delicately as if she were trying to seduce her.

“While you cling on to the hopes of feeding on my breadcrumbs, I will make it my mission to imprint every bit of me on my husband,” Amelia vowed between clenched jaws.

“When he looks at you, he’ll see only me. When you call him on the phone, he will hear only my sweet voice. Even if you try to seduce him…”

Tina gasped as Amelia’s fingers stroked the middle part of her cleavage.

“…he will see only my naked body.”

“Get your hands off me.” Tina pushed Amelia’s hand away from her chest, taking two steps back, her breath raspy.

But Amelia was not done tormenting her for her audacious statement.

“You once had Blaze but now you have lost him to me and I have no plans of giving him back to you. So feel free to remain in the friend zone with my husband, while I take extreme care of his delicious body, his heart and his soul. But get this into your delusional brain. I, Mrs Amelia Anderson can never be friends with a scum like you.”

Tina could feel the cold air around them thinning out as rage coursed through her veins like an angry viper causing her fingers to ball into a fist.

Amelia moved backwards, smiling with satisfaction as Tina’s eyes turned moist. “Now if you will excuse me, I have to go home and cook for my sweetheart, before taking care of his other needs. Have a good evening.” Turning around with shoulder raised high, Amelia walked away from Tina.

The tears Tina was fighting to hold back came down in full torrent as she watched Amelia get into her vehicle and drive off into the sunset.

Back at home, Blaze sat by his mini bar, sipping from his wine glass, a captivating twinkle in his eyes.

All this while, he had been listening to Amelia’s conversation with Tina and he couldn’t stop smiling to himself. Hearing her defend him in the face of his ex made him feel special, wanted and important, something he lacked while he was with Tina.

Amelia reminded him of his mother when she wanted to be mean as hell. She could be all sweet and caring but not the kind of woman you want to mess with.

The mere thought of her imprinting herself all over him awakened a hungry part of him that wanted to devour her whole on sight. It aroused him, leaving him panting and waiting patiently for her return.

“Sir, Mrs Anderson has just arrived.” The head housekeeper announced.

“Thanks.” Blaze gulped down the rest of his drink and stood up to welcome his wife at the door.

Feeling a bit exhausted and famished, Amelia sluggishly made her way to the entrance of the Villa when the door was suddenly pushed open.

“Blaze!” Amelia’s eyes widened in shock not expecting to see him. “When did you…” The rest of her words caught in her throat when Blaze lifted her off the ground princess style and crashed his warm lips against hers, kissing her so passionately in front of her bodyguards and house staff who had filed out to receive the things she bought.

At first, Amelia was in shock and conscious of her environment. She struggled for him to put her down. But as she tasted the alcohol in his fiery breath and felt the hunger in his passionate kiss, she melted into his arms, relaxing and reciprocating his intoxicating gesture, until they both ran out of air.

“What have you done to me?” Blaze whispered, staring into Amelia’s eyes as he carried her up the stairs to their bedroom.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Amelia replied, bemused by the erotic fire burning in his eyes.
