Lin angrily dropped her wine glass in the glass holder, some of the wine spilling on the seat, messing the side of Regina’s expensive dress.

Regina gasped, at the purplish red wine stain on her designer dress. “Look at what you’ve done?” She half screamed.

But Lin didn’t seem bothered about the wine stain as she continued expressing her inner rage.

“You know what, you must really have some guts to challenge me after what you did to us. We were supposed to work as a team. We were supposed to share the bounty equally. But what did you and your greedy brainless daughter do? You cheated us and tried to steal from us. Now look at how low you have fallen. Didn’t they say karma is a b*tch?

Regina felt Lin’s words hit her on the face like a dirty slap. She gnashed her teeth until her gum began to hurt.

“I don’t blame you. I blame myself for getting involved with a rotten egg like you. After all, you are the reason why Amelia is still alive and threatening to destroy us all. But don’t think for a second that I will allow you to disregard my position as the senator’s wife. It is a title I have earned irrespective of what you think. But since you lack manners, can you at least have the decency to get the f*ck out of my car.”

“Decency.” Lin drawled sizing Regina from head to toe with a condescending look. “Such a beautiful word coming from the woman who is f*cking her husband’s younger brother and ninety percent of his friends, must be the joke of the century. Tell me, how do you think the senator will react when he finds out that his big-breasted milk factory has been very generous to his friends.”

Regina’s eyes widened like a saucer, her heart slamming widely against her chest. No one knows about her affairs except Pearl and Matt. She quickly wiped the surprised look on her face and acted as though Lin was fabricating stories.

“Blackmail! Is this what this is all about? You are trying to blackmail me for something I have never done? You must be a joker if you think for a second that I will succumb to your threat.”

Instead of getting offended, Lin let out a wicked laugh that slowly crumbled Regina’s wall of defence.

She leisurely brought out her phone from her side pocket and unlocked it. She’s scrolled down to an app where she stored password-locked videos and audio conversations. A devilish smirk curled up the side of her cheek as she watched Regina from the corner of her eyes panicking.

“How about this?” Lin turned her phone screen to Regina, pressing play on a video.

“No…” Regina shook her head, her chest tightening and her stomach twisting angrily as her eyes fell on a video of Matt pounding her from behind on her matrimonial bed.

Lin chuckles wickedly. “What about this?” She didn’t give Regina any break as she slid over to another video showing Regina having a threesome with two of the senator’s political friends.

“And this?” She showed another video of Regina giving Tylor Young a blow job.

“Do you want me to continue?” Lin slid to another video, forcing Regina to cup both her ears as her shameful cries of pleasure echoed within the car.

“Stop!” Regina cried out, lowering her gaze. “Please.”

“You see, that wasn’t so hard,” Lin said closing the video. “Maybe you should start treating me with a little more respect since I can destroy you with the snap of my own finger. Now, can you tell me what you want here?”

Regina nodded without looking at Lin, who was glaring condescendingly at her. She picked up her handkerchief and dabbed at her tears before responding.

“Matt sent me.”

“To do what?” Lin asked impatiently, opening the side door.

“He wants me to get my hus…” Regina choked on her words, her guilt tearing at her heart. “He wants me to get the senator out of Judith’s house.”

Lin scoffed. “And you think I haven’t been trying to do that for the last one hour since he got in there?”

“Matt wants me to tell him that his mother collapsed,” Regina said, finally looking up to meet Lin’s disgusted stare.

“Be my guest.” Lin made a move to climb out of the car but Regina quickly stopped her.

“Lin…” Regina called softly and in a friendly voice.

“What?” Lin shot her a vicious glare, slapping off Regina’s hand that tried to touch her.

“I’m sorry I was rude to you. I’ve been going through a lot and my emotions were all over the place.”

“Save that bullshit for someone who cares.” Lin hissed, her hand still on the door handle as she waited for Regina to offer her a deal.

“Please Lin, we don’t have to fight within ourselves. I understand that you hate me right now for my greed and selfishness. But please, can we keep this between us? I still love my husband.”

“Love?” Lin snorted, closing the door to avoid eavesdroppers. “The woman I saw in that video passionately giving her all doesn’t understand that word, love. You are only here because of the senator’s money and his influence. I bet if he loses everything today, you will ditch him for the next rich guy. But who am I to judge you? After all, we are both in the same boat.”

“Exactly.” Regina nodded her head. “That is why I must beg you to delete those videos before they ruin me.”

“If I delete them, what do I get in return?” Lin asked, her eyes brimming with mischief.

“Anything that doesn’t include money because I don’t have it right now except the allowance my husband gives me.”

“I don’t need your money,” Lin said, her eyes boring into Regina’s. “All I need is for you to set up someone.”

“Who?”

“Your husband’s best friend, Engineer Van Cobalt.”

“How do you expect me to do that?” Regina asked, eying Lin.

“Do what you do best. Seduce and sleep with him.”

“What!” Regina’s bulging eyes almost popped out of its socket. “Are you out of your mind? Do you have any idea what my husband will do to me if he finds out?”

“Your husband is not going to find out anything except you tell him. We just need a good leverage over that old fool in case things go sour and we need a deflection.”

Regina thought briefly before asking. “Does Matt know about this?”

“I haven’t spoken to him yet about it. But I’ll let him know as soon as possible.”

Regina released a sigh. “Okay. If I do this, do you promise to delete the videos?”

“Yes,” Lin replied, grinning inwardly.

“Every one of it?”

“Yes, I’ll delete everything saved on this device in your presence.”

“Then, it is a deal.” Regina extended her hand towards Lin, which the latter shook.
