Chapter 184: Unsolicited Help
Amelia cupped her mouth with both hands, her eyes widened in horror at the mess on the floor.
“Oh, dear! Are you al…”
Stacy didn’t get to finish her statement when Amelia quickly pulled away from her and dashed into one of the empty toilet cubicles, slamming the door behind her, with a loud thud followed by a click sound.
“Shit! Amy!” Stacy ran towards the toilet cubicle Amelia had entered and tried opening the door. Sadly, it had been locked from the inside.
“Amelia, open the door, please.” Stacy banged on the toilet cubicle door repeatedly but got no response.
“Amy…” Stacy pinned her ear on the door.
The sound of Amelia retching, followed closely by a splattering sound told Stacy that she was vomiting again.
Stacy instantly began to panic as she started banging the door even harder.
“Amy, please, open the door. Let me help you.”
Tina and Joanna both exchanged stunned glances, immobilized by the mess on the floor and Amelia still vomiting only god knows what.
Tina almost felt sorry for Amelia. But in truth she was happy. Very happy to see Amelia embarrass herself.
While Joanna saw Amelia’s trauma as a disgusting situation and a deserving payback for trying to mess with her bestie’s emotions, Tina saw an opportunity.
It was an opportunity to take back what was stolen from her.
An opportunity that may catapult her straight into Blaze’s arms if she played her cards right.
An opportunity she was willing to grab with both hands.
A brilliant idea popped into Tina’s head and she swung into action without giving it a second thought.
Instead of stepping backwards and making disgusting faces like her friend, Tina stepped forward, bracing herself for the nauseating stench. She held her breath as she walked past the gooey vomit on the tiled floor, which looked like something an alien would cough up.
“Wait for me!” Joanna called after Tina, hurrying behind her, her heels clicking on the tile floor. She thought Tina was about to flee from the nauseating scene. But to her surprise, Tina locked the door from inside.
“Why are you locking us in?” Joanna panicked, unsure of what her friend was doing.
“We need to contain this,” Tina said.
“How?” Joanna shot her a displeased stare.
“By making sure no one comes in to see this mess,” Tina explained, her mind calculating like a robot on what next to do.
“How is that any of our f*cking business?” Joanna sneered.
“We can’t leave them like this, Jay. Let’s help.” Tina pleaded, hurrying over to Stacy, who was now crying as she continued to bang on the door, afraid that Amelia might pass out on her own.
“What do you want?” Stacy barked at Tina.
“Yes, please help me ask her,” Joanna said in a repressed voice hissing.
“I want to help.” Tina almost bit her tongue in the process of saying those words.
“We are fine. We do not need your help.” Stacy rolled her eyes at her before resuming banging on the door.
“Have you seen what I’m saying?” Joanna pointed at Stacy’s sully attitude. “Please let’s go before we embarrass herself any further.”
“I’ll help clean up the mess on the floor. Keep knocking. I’m sure she will open the door any moment from now.” Tina said as if she didn’t hear Stacy’s blunt rejection.

“Say what now?” Joanna scrunched her face as if someone had given her a fierce slap on the cheek.
“I’ll be quick.” Tina hurried past Joanna and checked the other toilet cubicles to confirm they were all alone.
Thankfully, there was no one to witness the embarrassing scene except all three ladies.
Ignoring Joanna, who was still frozen by the door, gawking at her as if she had lost her mind, Tina entered one of the toilet cubicles and returned with a roll of tissue paper.
“Jay, instead of standing there help me get some toilet tissue and less clean up this mess together.”
“Are you kidding me?”
“They are our friends, Jay.” Tina pleaded.
“What stupid friend are you talking about?” Joanna demanded, her eyes shooting daggers at her friend, unsure of what games she was playing.
“Hey, watch your mouth.” Stacy pointed threateningly at Joanna.
“No, you put your stinking mouth.” Joanna retorted, challenging her.
“If you won’t help, then I’ll do it alone. Just don’t pick a fight with Stacy.” Tina said as she kicked off her heels, holding her breath.
To Stacy and Joanna’s shock, Tina went down on her knees, tore out a large chunk of tissue paper and started mopping the vomit.
“Eww! Stop that, Tina!” Joanna cried out, cupping her nose and scrunching her face in disgust.
“What the hell!” Stacy’s dilated pupils almost popped out of her eye socket. She froze momentarily forgetting about Amelia until she heard a click sound.
Turning the cubicle door knob, Stacy let out a sigh of relief as it moved freely. She pushed open the door and let herself in.
“Amy!”
Stacy’s pounding heart almost dropped on the floor when she found Amelia seated on the bare toilet floor with her back against the toilet wall, looking completely drained of energy.
The top part of her camisole and her jacket were covered in vomit and her face was looking slightly pale.
The part that made Stacy even more horrified was the way Amelia’s right hand was still clenched to her tummy. Her face was also twisted in agony, showing that she was still in a lot of pain.
“I’m so sorry.” Amelia managed to say in a weak voice, her body trembling as she covered her face with her messy hands in shame.
“Oh, Amy….don’t be.” Stacy hurried inside and closed the door behind her to prevent Joanna and Tina from seeing Amelia in her lowest state.
“I should be the one saying sorry. How do you feel now.” Stacy helped Amelia take off her jacket and used the jacket to wipe her camisole, her face and her hands.
“It hurts,” Amelia said crying while gnashing her teeth in pain. “My stomach hurts.”
“Shh! Don’t talk too much. Save your energy. I will get help.” Stacy put her hand in her pocket only to discover that it was empty.
“Shit!”
“What!” Amelia asked weakly.
“I left my phone on the table.”
“Me too.” Amelia started to cry, leaning her head on Stacy’s chest.
“Oh dear, please don’t cry. We will find a way.” Stacy said reassuringly, stroking Amelia’s hair, even though she had no clue what to do. She couldn’t leave Amelia all by yourself with those two witches outside who were acting weirdly.
A knock on the door startled them both.
“Amelia, I just texted your father and your husband. Help is on the way. Hang in there.” Tina’s soft voice echoed from behind the door.
“What!” Amelia and Stacy both exchanged alarmed gazes.
