Chapter 235: Girls Fight
“Sir, there’s a problem.”
“A problem?” Blaze’s forehead furrowed at Echo’s words, his phone pressed to his ear.
“Yes sir, I think you need to see this. I just sent a live-streaming link to your other phone. I’ll hang on the line and wait for further instructions.”
“Okay.”
Just then, Blaze’s other phone beeped twice, indicating he had just received a new message.
Picking up the phone from the bedside cabinet, Blaze quietly stood up and exited his mother’s room for the reception room, while opening the link on the phone.
The last thing Blaze was expecting to see was his wife, whom he presumed was with Henry and her father back at the hospital.
But to his bewilderment, there she was, slowly making her way through a fancy-looking restaurant, like an Amazonian force of nature, ready to discharge instant justice. Behind her were familiar faces of her friend, whose scrunched and vicious faces spoke volumes of an impending war.
“What the hell!” Blaze instantly halted in front of the reception room door, his heart frozen solid. “What is she…”
Blaze’s breath hitched, his eyes widening with unhinged fury as the live-streaming camera shifted to the table up ahead.
“Where is this place?” Blaze demanded in a harsh tone, quickly making a U-turn and heading straight for the elevator.
“The Opulent Silk located in…”
“I know the place.” Blaze cut Echo off.
“Do you want us to intervene, sir?”
“No. Keep videoing. I’m on my way.” Blaze ended the call as he hopped into the elevator pressing the button for the lobby area.
Just then, another call from Henry entered his phone.
“What the f*ck did you say to my wife?” Blaze growled dangerously, his pulse thundering and heat rising under his skin like molten lava.
“Calm down bro. I simply told her what she needed to know.” Henry said in his usual calm and cheerful voice as if he couldn’t feel Blaze’s spine-chilling anger.
“What she needed to know?” Blaze thundered. “Do you have any f*cking idea what you have just done? Do you even know where she is? She’s about to confront Tina for f*ck’s sake. How could you do this to me knowing her condition.”
Ding!
Blaze didn’t wait for the elevator door to completely open as he bolted out of the door, almost running into a sick patient. He apologized without stopping as he headed outside the building towards the parking lots while listening to Henry’s calm explanation.
“Relax bro, I know you have eyes everywhere and that is why I’m calling to inform you to stand down. Allow your wife to do her thing. Do not try to interfere in any way or you will jeopardize everything. Just trust her and trust me.”
Blaze reached his car on time but didn’t bother opening the door, his initial ire melting at Henry’s last statement.
“Where are you currently?”
“I am inside the restaurant, about to witness your wife deal with your ex. Make sure you remain at the hospital because I’m sending her to you next.”
“What?”
The call instantly disconnected, leaving Blaze more furious and confused than ever. He contemplated briefly and decided to return to the hospital, after giving Echo new instructions.

“Isn’t that Amelia, the daughter of Senator Shawl and wife of the billionaire chairman Blaze Anderson?”
“What is she doing here with those angry-looking ladies?”
“Why is she glaring at Tina Stevens?”
“I thought Tina posted on her Instagram that they were friends?”
“This doesn’t look like a friendly reunion…”
“I’m so capturing this….”
The distant murmuring of excited guests filtered through the air, buzzing like bees in Amelia’s ear as she finally arrived in front of Tina’s table.
Some of the guests seated close to Tina’s table could already sniff the trouble in the air.
They quickly brought out their phones ready to capture as the four angry-looking ladies, standing behind Amelia, took strategic positions around the table like soldiers on the battlefront waiting for their commander’s order.
“Amelia, you have no…”
Joanna had barely completed her statement when she felt a hand clasp her shoulder with an iron bone-crunching grip.
“Ouch!” Joanna cried out in pain, her voice ringing like an alarm bell in Tina’s head, making her tremble even more.
“Sit down, b*tch and shut that hole in your face.” Stacy barked, forcing Joanna back on her seat, with the chair scraping angrily against the marble floor.
At this point, the restaurant manager and security were alerted and they came running towards the scene. However, when the manager received a strange call, he immediately stopped his men from acting, leaving the feuding guests to settle their differences by themselves.
“Anyone who tries to interfere will get hurt.” Kayla threatened, picking up a knife and fork from the table while giving them a, don’t f*ck with me vibe.
None of the ladies on the table who were earlier badmouthing Amelia dared to cough or sneeze as they kept their heads lowered, not wanting to get hurt.
However, Kelvin seeing his sister recoil into her shell while poking him with trembling fingers on his thigh decided to stand up for her in front of the assumed bullies.
“I do not know who you ladies are or what you want with my sister. But I won’t stand here and watch you harass her. Please leave.” Kelvin demanded angrily standing up, hoping to scare the ladies with his sturdy and intimidating look.
“I will advise you to sit down, Mr fancy pants. We didn’t come here for you.” Stacy warned, snarling at him.
“And if I don’t?” Kelvin demanded in a half-repressed voice.
At that same moment, Pascal appeared from nowhere, accompanied by Clay and two other hefty-looking men, with bloodthirsty looks in their eyes. All four surrounded the table, giving Kelvin a nonverbal signal to sit down.
Kelvin flinched slightly, a warning bell ringing in his ear.
“You were saying?” Amelia came up to Kelvin, fist clenched and gaze as cold as ice, sending a shiver down his spine. It made him weak in the knees as he saw the level of animosity and rage in her eyes which spoke volumes of a wrong deed done against her.
