Chapter 310: Girls’ Outing
Judith and her husband were both impressed to see their daughter slowly coming out of her shell, thanks to Henry’s influence and the musical band she had recently become a part of.
It had been a huge challenge getting Sarah to socialize after her traumatizing encounter with the kidnappers.
However, things were slowly changing for the better with Sarah’s progressive transformation from an indoor, conservative computer nerd to her outgoing, vibrant self.
They approved of her friendship with Henry and Sebastian, who had openly asked for their permission to court her.
—
It was a beautiful sunny Friday in Salvine city, marked by a vibrant atmosphere, with the brilliant sunlight dappling the city’s iconic landmarks and skyscrapers.
Sarah was preparing to hang out with her bestie, Annabelle, since she didn’t have classes for the day.
They had both planned out a list of fun activities before her musical instruments rehearsals, and Sarah was super thrilled to spend quality time with her bestie away from school.
She got dressed in a floral print long-sleeved playsuit that captured her pretty, feminine physique, pairing it with white sneakers. Leaving her wavy, long hair to fall freely on her shoulders, she slid on a wide rim of sunglasses and hopped out of her bedroom,, almost bumping into her brother.
“Hey, little sis.”
“Hi, Mikey.” Sarah’s thrilled voice resonated along the hallway.
“Looking good.” Michael admired his sister, knowing Henry would trip if her saw her right now. “I can see you’re ready to leave.”
“Yep! How do I look?” Sarah twirled around like an excited ballerina about to go on stage and display her solo.
“Magnificent!” Michael gestured animatedly, making Sarah giggle.
“You’re so full of drama.” She nudged him on the shoulder, laughing, as she made her way towards the stairs.
“Are you sure I shouldn’t accompany you? I promise I’ll be invincible the whole time?”
Sarah beamed at her brother’s protectiveness around her.
“Don’t worry, Mikey. I’ll be fine. It’s just me and Annabelle hanging out. Moreover, you have somewhere else to be. I don’t want you ruining your fun because of me.”
“I’m not complaining.”
“I know, and that’s why I love you so much.” Sarah hugged her brother’s arm briefly before releasing him.
“What about Henry? I’m sure he would love to take you girls out.”
“No.” Sarah found herself blushing at the mention of Henry’s name. “It’s just for girls. I….”
“Sarah!”
Annabelle’s high-pitched voice filled the entire room, causing some of the maids hanging around to cup their ears with their hands.
“Anna!” Sarah’s eyes lit up in excitement.
“Oh… I forgot to tell you that your friend is already here.” Michael whispered to his sister, smirking at Annabelle’s noisy but charming personality.
“See you later, bro.” Sarah pecked Michael on the cheek briefly before hurrying over to embrace her friend.
They both chirped happily like singing birds before leaving the house, arms interlocked.
Michael waited for his sister to exit the door before dialling Henry’s number.
“She just left the house.”

“Okay. Thanks for the update.”
Both girls got into Annabelle’s car and left for the mall to do some shopping, unaware that they were being tailed by two love-sick puppies.
Upon arrival at the mall’s extensive parking lot, Annabelle brought the car to a halt at a parking spot.
Both excited girls hoped out of the car, chatting and laughing at their silly jokes. They were about to cross over the driveway to the pedestrian path when a red Lamborghini drove past them by an inch before coming to a halt.
“Oh my gush! Check out this beauty!” Annabelle’s eyes widened in admiration.
“Yeah! It’s beautiful!” Sarah complimented while wondering why the car was packed in front of them.
The door to the car slowly opened upwards, revealing a dashing young ruggedly attractive man, oozing a captivating blend of masculinity and style. He was decked in black leather pants and jacket, paired with sleek black boots, and a dark aviator glasses to complete his killer look, adding a touch of rebellious cool, confidence and sophistication.
Something about him looked weirdly familiar as Sarah scrutinized him from head to toe wondering where she had seen him.
“Sebastian!” Annabelle was the first to recognize him even before he took off his glasses, a frown etching across her forehead.
“Sebastian!” Sarah echoed, doubt lacing her tone, as her gaze flickered to Annabelle.
“Yes, it’s me,” Sebastian said in a cool, sexy tone, taking off his glasses, while striking an irresistible killer pose.
“Wow! You look…” Sarah assessed him from head to toe, taking in his bold and daring look and comparing it with his reserved, gentle nature. “… different.”
‘Different! What happened to the words like dashing, breathtaking or simply handsome?
A crease appeared on Sebastian’s face but quickly disappeared as Sarah’s gaze met his. He was expecting her to be wowed by his appearance after going through a lot to look this hot just for her.
Annabelle scoffed in her heart, her initial admiration for the Lamborghini disappearing upon realizing that it belonged to this two-faced Sebastian. She was tempted to pull Sarah away from him and to tell her what she had unknowingly stumbled upon.
Sadly, after confronting Sebastian with the truth, he had pleaded with her to keep his secret, threatening to destroy her if she exposed him to Sarah.
“Different is good, right?” Sebastian’s lips coiled up in an irresistible smile, drinking in Sarah’s dashing beauty up close.
“Umm…. I guess.” Sarah looked away, her gaze shifting to the red Lamborghini. “I never knew you rode one of these.”
“Well…. There is a lot you don’t know about me.”
“Touché, you got me there.” Sarah chuckled.
“So what’s up with your girls? Going on a shopping spree?” Sebastian directed his question to Annabelle, noticing how awfully cold she was towards him.
“Yeah!” Annabelle forced a smile, wrapping her arms around Sarah’s. “Girls only.”
“Too bad! I would have loved to give you girls a ride around town.”
“Sorry… We already have our day planned out. But it was nice to run into you.” Sarah replied, stepping away from Sebastian’s car as another motorist honked noisily behind them.
Sebastian’s hand slowly balled into a fist as he turned around to glare at the impatient motorist ruining his conversation with his dream girlfriend.
“It was nice running into you, Sebastian. Take care of yourself.” Sarah said, pushing Annabelle forward.
“Wait, let me just park my car properly.” Sebastian hurried into his car as he watched the girls leave, waving at him. “Shit!” He roughly pulled into a parking spot, almost bashing his uncle’s car into another car that was reversing.
