Chapter 340: Being Real
Smack!
The sharp and crisp sound of a slap echoed inside the car; immediately, Desmond entered the car and closed the door behind him.
“Ouch!” Regina scrunched her face a little rubbing her cheeks as if she was the one that received such a fierce slap. She was suppressing her laughter wishing she could unleash such terror on the senator.
“What was that for?” Desmond’s eyes flared in anger as he rubbed his stinging cheeks, stunned by Pearl’s audacity.
Gwen quickly drove off for fear of Harriet discovering that her darling husband had been manhandled by his mistress.
“That’s for keeping me waiting and allowing that cow to ridicule me.”
“Aunt Pearl, please go easy on my uncle.” Gwen pleaded, staring pleadingly at her aunt through the rearview mirror.
But Desmond lost it at Pearl’s demeaning remark about his wife. He shouted at Gwen.
“Stop the car.”
“What?” Regina turned from the front passenger seat to look at them.
“Keep driving.” Pearl barked at Gwen.
“I said stop the car before I do something we will all regret.” Desmond banged the seat of the car, frightening all three women.
“Easy, uncle. This car is brand new.” Gwen slowed down, pulling over by the side of the road. But she kept the engine running and the central lock active.
“Now, what? Are you going to walk away from this?” Pearl snarled, her brow pulled together and her eyes narrowed.
“The next time you lift those filthy hands to strike me or call my wife demeaning names, I will hurt you.”
“Go ahead, Desmond. Hurt me.” Pearl moved closer to him, daring him to hit her. “All you have to do is just lay a single finger on me and I will go back to your wife and tell her everything we’ve been doing together for the past five years.”
“You know what…” Desmond placed his hand on the door handle. “Why don’t you go ahead and tell her? I know my wife, and I know she would forgive me eventually if I begged her. But imagine the things I will do just to destroy you and your sister.”
Pearl froze.
“Desmond calm…”
“Shut the f*CK up, Gina.” Desmond barked, pointing a finger menacingly at her.
“Ah!” Gwen cupped her mouth, even though she was enjoying the drama now that they were all been real to themselves.
“Hey watch your language. I’m a married woman.” Regina retorted angrily.
“So says the woman f*cking every single man with dollars to spare.” Desmond sneered. “Married woman my ass.”
Regina’s face reddened like an overripe tomato about to rupture.
“Uncle Desmond, you don’t have to be mean to my mother.” Gwen pouted.
“But you were here when your mother and sister tried making fun of my wife.”
“I didn’t say anything.” Regina half screamed.
The flashing blue and red light from the back of their car, made all four snap their head backwards.
“Shit! Cops!” Regina cried out.

“Oh no! I just got out of prison.” Desmond lamented.
“It’s my fault. I left my hazard light on.” Gwen quickly turned it off, with trembling hands.
“You are also parked wrongly.” Pearl pointed out, looking out the window.
“And whose fault is that?” Regina eyed Desmond accusingly.
“Mom, please, this is no time to throw blame.” Gwen snapped at her mother. “The officer is getting close to the car. Everyone acts normal.”
The uniformed patrol officer, stopped by the driver’s door of the sleek red car. One of his hands resting on his weapon and the other signalling Gwen to lower the window.
“Good day, officer,” Gwen said in her most charming voice, smiling sweetly, as she automatically lowered all four windows.
“Good day, madam.” The very vigilant officer took note of those seated behind the car and in front while assessing if they posed any form of threat to him.
“It’s Miss Gwen Shawls, the daughter of Senator Gregory Shawls.” Gwen introduced herself, hoping the name of her father would work its magic.
The patrol officer, who was familiar with the senator and his beautiful daughters, almost burst out laughing at the fat woman’s audacious claim.
“Sure, and I am the son of President Maco.” The officer said, beaming.
“Huh!” Gwen didn’t get the ridiculing joke immediately but her mother quickly stepped in.
“Officer, is there a problem?”
“Yes, ma’am, Miss Gwen here was packed illegally on the roadside, constituting a danger to other road users. Also, her hazard lights were on, indicating that the car may be faulty.”
“Forgive me, officer.” Gwen finally recovered from the cruel joke. “There is nothing wrong with my car. My aunt is having a serious stomach upset.” She said, pointing to Pearl, who quickly got into character, wincing and holding her stomach when she met the officer’s suspicious stare.
“And her husband was trying to find out if she needed to throw up.” Gwen finished her statement, with a wicked grin.
“Her husband.” The officer assessed Desmond, who was staring at him, completely dazed.
Pearl chuckled in her heart at Gwen’s smart thinking. She smartly seized this rare opportunity to play the part of a fragile wife.
“Baby…” She tugged at Desmond’s pants, intentionally placing her head on his lap, while squeezing her stomach tight.
Matt was forced to switch into character, playing the part of a confused husband while cursing Gwen in his heart.
“Hmm…” The officer wasn’t completely convinced with the drama happening inside the car. But he decided to let them off the hook with a warning ticket.
As the officer continued to address Gwen about road safety, Pearl used this rare opportunity to work her into Desmond’s pants, giving him a stiffening erection.
By the time the officer finally let them go, the two intoxicated lovers completely forgot about their earlier conflicts and started shamelessly making out in the car.
“I need a man ASAP,” Regina confessed, feeling jealous of her sister’s revolting sexual cries.
“I’ve got you covered, mom.” Gwen smiled mischievously, picking up her phone and dialling Tyler’s number.
“Hello baby, guess who is sitting beside me?”

Meanwhile, at the Ranco correctional facility, Blaze sat in the chief warden’s private office, holding the latter’s personal phone to his ears.
His face was a mask of fury and his jaws were clenched so tight, it looked like it would shatter.
