Chapter 108: Access to the Advanced Adventurer Zone
A few weeks passed since Shye’s glorious victory against Aella from Redwood Academy.
As usual, during the uneventful times, he attends important premium classes and completes quests inside the intermediate adventurer zone.
However, today, he was summoned by Dean Snowcrest so Shye was on his way to the faculty’s meeting hall.
Upon arrival, Shye knocked on the door and entered once he heard Dean Privett’s approval.
‘Hmm? The deans are together? Seems like this would be quite the announcement…’
Shye thought to himself as he bowed to the four deans who were seated in front of a large meeting table in the middle of the faculty meeting hall.
He then looked around and saw that Ian Izanagi was already sitting on a couch while seemingly waiting for others to arrive.
“Crowley, you may sit with Izanagi while we wait for the others to arrive.” Dean Snowcrest said
Shye walked towards Izanagi, sat down on the couch, and chatted casually with him as the two of them waited for Siegfried and the others to arrive.
Fortunately, the two of them didn’t have to wait for a long time as Siegfried and the others arrived just a few minutes after Shye did.
Once they were complete, the deans decided to start the meeting.
Shye and the others chose their own seats at the meeting table and sat down as they waited attentively for the deans to speak.
“Students, I’m sure you guys know each other very well by now so I’ll skip the formalities and go straight to the point.”
Dean Privett said in a serious voice as she scanned her eyes over Shye and the other students.
Seeing that they were listening attentively, the dean continued speaking.
“As you all know, your generation is the most talented generation in the history of the academy, and next year, it will be your turn to represent Colzen Academy in the Valenzia Region’s Adventurer Academy Competition.”
“So last week, we had a meeting with your instructors and decided that we shall raise the difficulty of your requirements since your current requirements are too easy and will not push you to bring out your full potential.”
Shye and the others nodded in agreement after hearing what Dean Privett said.
Indeed, their current requirements were too easy for them.
“Thus, we have decided to give all of you access to the advanced adventurer zone two hours away from Colzen City.”
The students’ eyes sparkled in excitement after hearing that they could go to the nearest advanced adventurer zone.
The deans saw their excessive eagerness so Dean Privett immediately poured cold water over their heads upon realizing that these students would most likely rush to the advanced adventurer zone immediately after this meeting if they did not explain the conditions properly.
“However, as third-year students, you are not allowed to go to the advanced adventurer zone alone. We will be giving you guys a full-party badge which means you can only enter the advanced adventurer zone when all of you are together.”
“Fret not, when you become fourth-year students, we shall give you advanced adventurer badges and you may start solo adventuring, understood?”
Shye and the other students felt that it was a hassle for them to assemble as a party before going inside the advanced adventurer zone especially since all of them were equally tardy, however, they knew that it was the right thing to do.
There were still some creatures inside the intermediate adventurer zone who gave them trouble as solo adventurers so they would probably just lose their lives if they went solo adventuring inside the advanced adventurer zone right now.
“Understood!”
Dean Privett smiled upon confirmation that the students understood the gravity of the situation and didn’t let their egos blind their judgment.
Usually, young and talented adventurers tend to overestimate their strength and lose their lives doing so.
Fortunately, it appears that this current generation of students exhibits a level of wisdom beyond their years, which proved to the deans that it was the right decision to entrust the future of Colzen Academy to this particular group of students.

“Dean! I have a question” The ever-sharp Kiin Wujin raised his right hand after realizing something important.
“Go ahead” Dean Privett replied
“Your Excellency said that we must go inside as a full party but there are only six of us here…”
In response to Kiin’s question, Dean Privett smiled before answering:
“Talks are currently ongoing with Archpriest Deo of Colzen Monastery and if nothing goes wrong, you will be meeting your last member a few months from now.”
“By then, the four of us shall personally send you off inside the Advanced Adventurer Zone to complete your first party hunt.”
Shye and the others were visibly excited after hearing about the new arrangements made by the deans.
Honestly, they were starting to get bored of the intermediate adventurer zone because although they would have some troubles against a few creatures when solo adventuring, it would simply be too easy for them if they go in as a full party.
Fortunately, the deans seemed to be closely monitoring their progress and already made some arrangements for them.
“Do you guys have any more questions?” Dean Privett said as she scanned her eyes over the students again.
Since no one raised their hands, the dean concluded that they had no more questions.
She then retrieved something from her spatial storage bag before walking closer to the students.
“Here, take this, after the meeting today, you may proceed to the Permissions Pavillion to get your advanced full-party badge. Just give the staff member our recommendation letters and you shouldn’t have any trouble.”
Shye looked at the recommendation letter with a smile on his face while Dean Privett continued handing out the letters to the other students.
Finally, after a few moments, everyone got their own recommendation letters.
“That’s all from us, you’re all dismissed!”
Shye and the other students left the faculty meeting hall with huge smiles on their faces.
Despite being unable to enter until their final member from Colzen Monastery arrived at the academy, they chose to secure their badges early, ensuring they would be prepared to go adventuring at any moment.
